The Volkswagen Scirocco was the German company's hot car for the over a decade.  Starting with the Mk I's in the

late 70's right up to the Mk II 16V's that came out in 1989, these were a car enthusiasts dream.  Light, crisp

handling, and excellent performance. They gave way to the VW Corrado in 1990, and will remain classics in the eyes

of those who owned or still own one.  They came with many different motors over the years, 1.7L 8V,  1.8L 8V,  and a

1.8L 16V.    Body kits , spoilers, single wipers, and a variety of other things made it a tuners dream.

The Scirocco also made a formidable IT race car, whether in 8V ITB or ITC trim, or 16V ITA.  Light weight, great

handling, easy tunability, and bullet proof motors, helped the Scirocco's become a force to reckon with.
