Fall Round-Up '99
It was an
absolutely gorgeous weather weekend and I don't recall seeing this
many attendees in many years! Saw many old friends and renewed old
acqaintances.

MANY, MANY people!
NEW
friend! Was intrigued by the LONG hair of this lovely Susan Saradon
look-alike!
Positively drooled over this three-wheeler. This
non-tippable side-hack is just what I need.
OLD
friend! Bro Copper was present again. As always, he competed
successfully!
This Fall
Round-Up had one of the best wet t-shirt contests ever! ALL of the
contestants were quite attractive!! Here, Bubba introduces the
second-place winner. Would have had many more pictures, but I had to
shoot overhead and didn't get the proper angle - I shot most of the
lovelies only from the waist down!!!
Some Poetry -
for a change!
Riding & Writing
I
love to ride,
and
love to write.
My
Harley is my guide,
the
pen is my might.
Cruising is my kingdom,
poetry is my passion.
The
road is my freedom,
words I can fashion.
Two
different desires,
linked together, through me.
Two
forms of expression,
both of them set me free.
Life's trials and tribulations,
poems are made from these.
Like changes in temperature,
create a pleasant breeze.
I'm
moved by my poems,
hoping you will be too.
Leaving a lasting impression,
having an emotional value.
I'm
relating my feelings,
in
print, to my peers.
Hopefully riding & writing,
for
many more years.

Our newest
Prospect!
Our latest
prospect is "Tattoo" who rides and writes out in Illinois! He is a
new Associate member, whom I am sponsoring for full membership. He is
amply qualified when it comes to publishing; he's even had his
picture in Tattoo magazine! He runs several
Harleys; even his wife Brenda has one. It would be good if members
could reach out to him, his e-mail is: tattoo@ pcinetwork.com
I will keep
track of what he does to promote the HPMCC and will inform the
membership of his prospecting progress. Hopefully, some time after
Y2K we can vote him in as full-fledged Active Member.
From
my Archives:
It is I in
the winter of '85. I was doing a street patrol in South Boston on my
part-time job. Yes, I'm using my own bike and yes, that IS snow on
the ground!
See ya next issue. Grumpy
