The route for Utah passed through or near: Enterprise Zion Canyon Nt'l Park Hatch Bryce Canyon Nt'l Park Escalante Great Barrier Reef Nt'l Monument Lake Powell Monticello Approaching Zion June 17, 1980 -- Day 67 Zion Canyon National Park in the distance. Zion trailhead June 19, 1980 -- Day 69 Preparing for a two-day trip through Zion (much too short a time there). Eastern end still "in" Zion June 19, 1980 -- Day 69 I gave up counting how many times I took off my boots for the 20 or more stream crossings in Zion---finally I just left them on, and let them dry out at this night's campsite.
