Back Summary

The information below is a little bit of summary that I got from the back of each of the Dragon Knights Book. It kinda sums about the manga sometimes. I'll put detailed information as soon as I have time.

Volume One:
What happens when an elfin prince, a Yokai demonwarrior and a human thief are thrown together on an epic quest? In the case of Rue, Raht and Thatz, there's a glaring lack of fellowship. The Dragon Lord Lykouleon has sent the bickering trio of knights to recover the head of his enemy, Nadil, to prevent the demon king from being resurrected by the powers of darkness. But with a maneating witch, a pair of evil psychics and an army of werewolves out to get the head for themselves, the Dragon Knights are up to their necks in trouble.

Volume Two:
The Yokai warrior Rath likes to slaughter demons. The human thief Thatz is driven by an avaricious thirst for cash. And the elfin prince Rune just wants to get home. Together, this motley crew of Dragon Knights has been dispatched by their Lord Lykouleon to recover the head of his enemy, Nadil. Getting it wasn't a problem. Keeping it was. Cesia, a young witch who wants to win favor with the Lord by presenting him with the prized pate herself, has bamboozled the torrid trio, which now must still find their way home. But the Dragon Knights are only part of a much larger history, the beginnings of which appear in this new volume of Dragon Knights.

Volume Three:
The idyllic paradise of Draqueen faces threats from all around. The Yokai hordes gather on the periphery of the Dragon Lord's Kingom ready to storm the castle, intent on resurrecting their fallen leader, Nadil. But inside the castle, tensions mount. Demon possessions begin to afflict the Dragon tribe; the Yokai Bierrez discovers how to penetrate Lord Lykouleon's protective shield; and the Dragon Queen discovers a deceptive magic at work within the bowels of the Castle. Before the Dragon Army faces their enemies without, they might first have to expunge the darkness within.

Volume Four:
With the Yokai forces amassing to attack the castle, an air of tension has befallen the court - Rath is itching for Bierrez to show his face again, Thatz salivates for treasure and food, and Ruen loses himself in a world of self-contemplation, trying to regain the elfin healing powers he lost upon joining the Dragon Tribe. But no matter how disparate their concerns, they must band together with the Dragon Lord Lykouleon and the other Dragon Officers to face Nadil's army. However, Zoma goes missing, Rath may be dying, and the heroes are beginning to show signs of doubt about their chances against a formidable foe.

Volume Five:
Each of the Dragon Knights have been sent to a different corner of the map in the service of trhe Dragon Lord. Rath has gone with Cesia to Mt. Mfartha to resurrect the Dragon Dog Crewger; Ruen has traveled to the Faerie Forest to investigate the sudden disappearance of his elfin brood; an dThatz has teamed up with is old rival Kitchel in search of the three treasures. But the're not the only ones looking for the coveted treasures. Shydeman an dShyrendora and the alchemist Kharl, each of whom long for rule of Dusis, might be joining forces to beat the Dragon Tribe to the punch.

Volume Six:
Rune journeys to the Faerie Forest to investigate reports of its demise at the hands of the demons. On his way, he partners up with a mysterious drifter in love with Faeries an da little girl being hunted by the Yokai. However, thisng are not as they appear. THe little girl possesses a power beyond anything Dusis has ever know, and good spirits turn bad as the forces of darkness continue their quest to take over the Forest. Only Rue and the mysterious dirifter can save the Faeries from extermination.

Volume Seven:
The Demon Army is amassing, the villainous agents vying for power in Dusis are setting their wicked plans in motin, and the Dragon Palace is scrambling to defend themselves from all sides. But the Dragon Knights are all away. Thatz has left Kitchel and Ringleys on th eEast contentinent of Asinas and traveled back to Dusis to speak with the fortuneteller Delte. Rune has journeyed to theFaerie Forest only to discover all the Faeries gone, hunted by Kharl th eAlchemist. And Rath is accompanying Cesia to the northernmost peak of Dusism Mt. Mfartha, to resurrect the Dragon Dog Crewger. However, the two have been swayed from their path. Now they'll follow side adventures until they run smack into a demon trap in which both learn dark secrets they never knew they had... and face personal demons they never knew existed.

Volume Eight:
The three Dragon Knights, the Dragon Officers and Lord Lykouleon himself are still abroad and need to get home before the Demon Forces attack. But will they be able to? Close to the summit of Emphaza, Rath and Cesia may have to face their deepest darkest fears-including their own darker sides-if they want to find a way to resurrect Crewger. And Rath's decision to leave the dragon of Fire at the Dragon Castle may prove disastrous when it falls into the hands of an evil demon. But worst of all, Kaistern's pig-headed willingness to travel alone may leave him without Rath for protection. Hopefully Kitchel an dRingleys, half way around the world on the continent of Arinas, will be able to find the tree treasures before Dusis falls to the demons. And now that Rune has freed Tintlet, where is the Demon Fish Varawooo?

Volume Nine:
In a deep - and perhaps long overdue - conversation, Kai-stern reveals to Cesia that he is searching feverishly for the Wind Dragon, the Dragon with the power to restore life. He wants to save the dying Rath. Cesia, is in search of the Wind Dragon to revive Crewger. Each agrees to keep this information from Rath, whom they fear might be consumed with senseless anger, as is his wont. Their fears are well founded when they meet up with Shydeman and Shyrendora, and their battle with the demon agents drives Rath into a vicious frenzy, hacking away with madness at the increasingly defenseless Gil, despite the best efforts of the Fire Dragon to quell his master's temper. It is here that Rath unveils the secret he has been keeping for years.

Volume Ten:
Rath's mental state has deteriorated to the point that he lashes out at his closest allies who are duly concerned for his well-being. It is only after Cesia is apprehended that Rath comes to realize that his allies are all he has left and in his haste to rescue her, Rath is duped by her doppelganger and the demon within him is revived.

Volume Eleven:
Rath returns to the Dragon Castle consumed with exhaustion. Large numbers of demon forces close in on the castle. But Rath doesn't stay somnolent for long, and his awakening will mean death within the walls of the Dragon Castle, and the loss of a precious item within its vaults.

Volume Twelve:
Shydeman and Shyrendora, aided by a secret filial link to someone in the Dragon Castle, are able to weaken Lord Lykouleon's protective shield beyond the breaking point and attack the castle. As the demons attack, Rath begins the process of reviving Nadil, which involves cutting off his own head and placing the head of the fallen demon leader on his body. Cesia, Kai-stern and the rest of the Dragon court work to bring Rath back, but only a sacrifice from within their ranks will revive the fallen Dragon Knight ...
