FAQ

Are there meets? Yes, meets are on Saturday mornings held along the I-5 corridor.

Do I have to compete? No, meets are optional.  We have found many participants have little or no desire to compete.  Often participants are attracted to TE for social fun, and fitness opportunities.  This is one reason why we have too training groups:  Beginners gain fitness through high energy games and Advanced group focus more on preparation for meets.  We let the athlete decide which group is best for him/her.

Can I run with my child? YES!  Parents are always welcome to come along.  In fact, we encourage parents to come along on our runs.  Beginners run the equivalent of 2-3 miles each practice so be ready!

Is there any fundraising for TE?
Funds for TE are raised primarily through fees, donations and sponsorship.

Are there scholarships available? Yes, if you are on assisted/free lunch program then there is scholarship support available to you.

I can't come to every practice; is that alright? Yes it is alright.  Several of our members have other activities they are involved in that conflict with our practice times.  We want to see members as much as possible but completely understand if you cannot come to every practice.
