"Wu Fei snap out of it! Wu Fei, Wu Fei! HELLO! Anybody home?" Duo shouted in Wu Fei’s ear. "This is so not working," he mumbled. The lightbulb that went off over his head was almost visible. He leaned over and punched Wu Fei. "Ow! You braided baka! Why’d you hit me?" "Because you’re too busy staring at Sally to notice that it’s your turn!" Duo said. " I was not staring," Wu Fei answered, "I was just observing."

"You know if you like her, you ought to tell her so."

"Oh, and now you’re the expert on this kind of stuff now that you have a girlfriend?"

"You leave Hilde out of this!"

"And besides, I don’t like her."

"It’s ok justice boy you don’t have to be embarrassed."

"Shut-up Maxwell!"

"Ok, ok!"

"It doesn’t matter anyway. Didn’t you say it was my turn?"

"If you don’t fill your bucket up soon, I’m gonna win."

"My bucket will be full soon, and justice will be served."

"I can’t believe they’re playing Hi-Ho-Cherio!" Sally muttered watching the two from across the yard. Duo and Wu Fei had come over to Sally and Hilde’s apartment to visit, but after lunch the guys decided to play a board game, so the girls decided to go work out. "I can, " Hilde said casually doing some curls with a light free-weight. When Sally continued to stare, Hilde said, "Could you be any more obvious?" "Like you’re not obvious when Duo’s around? You practically have a flashing neon sign above your head that says ‘fuck me’." Sally informed her. "Yeah, but Duo’s my boyfriend!" Hilde countered. "That was a low blow!" Sally said, faking some tears. "No, seriously, you gotta do something about you and Justice Boy." Hilde stated. "Justice Boy?" Sally inquired. "Sorry, been hangin’ around Duo too long." Hilde explained. "Ain’t that the truth!" Sally yelled.

" I demand a rematch in the name of justice!" Wu Fei shouted. "Nope," Duo answered calmly. "I WANT A REMATCH NOW!" Wu Fei bellowed. "Hey let’s go grab the girls and play a game with them!" Duo said excitedly. "What about my rematch?" Wu Fei whined. "You’re not getting one. Now come on." Duo said grabbing his arm, but Wu Fei wouldn’t move. "NO!" Wu Fei responded folding his arms over his chest. "Get your whiney-baby ass up now!" Duo shouted and grabbed his arm and yanked him up.

Duo dragged Wu Fei over to where the girls were working out. "Hi Ladies," Duo began smoothly, "wanna play a game of Hi-Ho Cherio with us?" Sally and Hilde looked at each other and rolled their eyes. "No that’s ok." Sally said. "Umm, let me think about it… no." Hilde said in a tone as sarcastic as she could get it. Duo looked heavenward and asked "Why is no one cooperating today?" he looked at Hilde and gave her the puppy-dog-eyes. "Please?" he whined rather pathetically, even for Duo. Hilde took one look at him and she could no longer resist. She grabbed Sally and headed for the playing table. "Why do I have to suffer because your boyfriend is a big baby?" Sally whined while trying to pull herself free of Hilde’s grasp.

The two girls reached the table and began to examine the box. "A child’s first counting game." Hilde read off the side of the box. "Ages 4-6." Sally continued reading. They both looked at each other and rolled their eyes. "This could get interesting." Sally said and sat down.

45 minutes later

"YOU CHEATED!" Wu Fei bellowed. Sally stopped doing her victory dance long enough to say, "Where’s your proof?" Then she went back to doing the cabbage patch, with exaggerated butt shaking. "I don’t have any cuz my head was turned when you unjustly filled your basket." he answered haughtily. Sally turned and gave him the "evil eyes".

Hilde and Duo sat and watched their staring contest. "Go figure. She does all this bitchin’ about playing, and now she’s just as into the game as you and justice boy." Hilde said. "Hi-Ho Cherio is a very addicting game." Duo answered defensively. Hilde looked at him incredulously. They both turned away from each other at that moment to see a very shocking sight. Sally and Wu Fei were engaged a very interesting game of tonsil-hockey.

"What the hell is going on?1" Duo shouted excitedly. Sally and Wu Fei both jumped back, looked at each other, blushed, and then took off running in the opposite direction. "You idiot!" Hilde screeched and yanked Duo’s braid. "What?" Duo asked rubbing his head. "You ruined their moment." Hilde said exasperatedly.

Hilde took off in a sprint after Sally, who had run inside and curled into a ball in the corner. When she reached her she asked, "So is he a good kisser?" "Yeah," Sally said without thinking. Than began blushing furiously. All of a sudden she burst into tears. "What have I done?" she asked in a shaky voice. Hilde bent down and gathered Sally into her arms. "It’ll be ok," she said as she held her. They sat that way for a few moments, and then Sally sat upright and began to wipe her eyes. "Look at me sitting here blubbering like a baby," she said. She got up, straightened her shirt, and then walked off in the direction of her room.

Duo watched Wu Fei pace back and forth for a solid five minutes before he thought of a way to bring up what had just happened. Finally he got an idea. "What’s up justice boy?" Duo asked in a cheery tone. "Fuck off Maxwell!" Wu Fei grunted without even looking up. Well so much for that idea, Duo thought. Duo stood there examining his options while Wu Fei continued to pace. "Damn, damn, and double damn!" Wu Fei mumbled. Duo watched his friend walk back and forth, and back and forth, and back and forth, before he got dizzy.

Duo figured he wasn’t going to get anywhere with Wu Fei now, so he decided to wait until later. He walked into the dining room and spotted Hilde sitting on the couch. He went and sat down beside her with a sigh. "What are we going to do about our friends?" Hilde asked. "I don’t know, but we gotta do somethin’," Duo said. ‘Where’s Wu Fei?" Hilde asked. "In the kitchen, pacing back and forth." He answered. He paused for a moment before asking, "And what about Sally?" "She’s up in her room." Hilde informed him. Just then Sally walked into the room. "Where are you going?" Hilde asked. "Into the kitchen to get some water." Sally answered.

Duo and Hilde both got wide-eyed, knowing there was a confrontation coming up, but neither of them said a thing. They paused and waited as Sally rounded the corner. There was a moment of silence before loud screams and mumbled obscenities could be heard all over the house. Duo started to get up to watch the action but Hilde held him down. Then after a few seconds it was silent. "I think they tore each other to pieces." Duo joked. "Let’s go see." Was Hilde’s only answer.

They got up and peered around the corner to see what had happened. Duo’s mouth fell open, and Hilde gasped in shock when they saw what had caused the couple to fall silent. Wu Fei had Sally backed up against a wall, and he had placed his hands on her hips. He was currently trying to see how far down her throat he could get his tongue. "I sure as hell wasn’t expecting that." Hilde whispered. "Guess we don’t have to play matchmakers after all." Duo said.
