Hilde set her cup down. "My answer to marrying you is yes, Chronos." Hilde said to her newly fiance. Chronos smiled. "Great! I love you my darling!" Chronos said, kissing Hilde. "When should it be?" Chronos asked. "How about in 2 weeks? I dont really have that many people to ask." Hilde suggested. Chronos grinned and nodded, then left. Hilde started wedding invitations. "Lets see, Relena, Heero, Trowa, Catherine, Wufei, Sally, Quatre, Dorothy Lucretzia, Miliardo and...." Hilde mumbled. Should I invite him? It will break his heart..... Hilde thought. She shook her head. "He blew his chances. Its over...." Hilde whispered. She shook her head again. "Thats all Im inviting." She stated. She sent the invitations. And before she knew it they were delivered.

Relena squealed. "Maid of Honor!" Zechs came from behind her. "Im just a guest it seems." He said glumily. Relena ran to show Noin. Noin giggled. "Im another bridesmaid!" She said happily. "Im the best man." Heero mumbled. "Oh! Sweetie! Congrats for you!" Relena squealed and kissed Heero's cheek. "Im another bridesmaid." Dorothy bragged. "Im another best man." Quatre said, grinning crazily. Trowa smiled. "Im a guest, and Cathy is a bridesmaid." Trowa said. Wufei glared at the card. "Of course a woman wouldnt let me be a best man!" Wufei snarled. "Honey, Im a guest too, just stay calm." Sally said. "Im so happy I was invited!" Relena yelled. Duo came down the stairs. "Invited to what?" He asked lazily. The room grew silent. "To Hilde's wedding." Heero mumbled. Duo frowned. "Was I invited?" He asked, already knowing the answer. "No." Relena mumbled. Duo blinked the tears back. "Aw well, its gunna be boring and long anyway." He said, walking into the kitchen. He sat in the corner, on the floor. "Hilde......." Duo mumbled. His vision was blurred from the tears welling up. Heero came in. "Duo, why are you sitting on the floor?" He asked. "Uh, I was...um, I was looking for..." Duo pondered. Heero put his hand on Duo's shoulder. "Its alright. I understand Duo. But you do know you blew it, no offence." Heero said. "I know......" Duo mumbled.

"Duo, we need money for food......and the auto store isnt giving us enough. So.....one of us needs to find a new job." Hilde mumbled. "K, Ill tell the boss you quit." Duo mumbled, turning the t.v. channel. "Duo! I didnt say I was quiting!" Hilde yelled. "Well, ya said one of us needs to quit, so you are." Duo mumbled. "I meant you should. I cant, its my uncle's store." Hilde said, glaring at Duo. "I dont care about your uncle. For all I care he could go screw a dead donkey." Duo said, turning the channel again. "DUO MAXWELL!" Hilde screamed. Now her screaming like that made Duo look at her. "I ADORE MY UNCLE, AND IF YOU WANT US TO BE IN THIS RELATIONSHIP, WE NEED TO TRY TO WORK WITH IT!" Hilde screamed. "I do what I want, so stop telling me how to live my life. If ya wanna tell someone how to live, go complain to your adorable uncle!" Duo yelled. Hilde glared, and ran to her room. She came out with a packed bag. "Goodbye Duo, Im leaving you! And this time you REALLY blew it!" Hilde screamed. "Fine! Dont come crawlin back to me when you are sorry!" Duo yelled. "Oh, dont worry, I wont!" Hilde screamed. She slammed the door behind her, making a picture frame shatter.

"She was right, I REALLY blew it that time." Duo mumbled. "Duo, you should be telling her this stuff, not me." Heero said. "Do you think she will apologize for being retarted if I talk to her?" Duo asked. "Probably not, since you were the one being retarted." Heero answered. "Fine, then Im not talking to her." Duo said, smirking.

"Im so happy Hilde, only a half of a week till the wedding!" Chronos exlaimed. "Yah, Im happy too." Hilde mumbled. "Honey, whats wrong?" Chronos asked. "Oh, nothing. Just down in the dumps I guess." Hilde mumbled. "Well, please cheer up!" Chronos exlaimed. Then he left. She made sure he was gone and ran to the phone. She picked up the reciever and paused. "No, I cant. Put the phone down Hilde." Hilde mumbled. She put the phone back. "I have to remember we are over, and he blew it for good." Hilde said. She smiled. Then she called Chronos. "Hello dear!" He exlaimed when he heard her. "Chronos, your right. I need to cheer up. Lets go shopping!" Hilde said. "Whatever you want sweetie!" He said. In a few minutes they left for the mall.

Duo sighed. "Heero, I need the good kind of shampoo for my hair again." He mumbled. "Want me to come with you?" Heero asked. Duo nodded. "Wheres it at?" Heero asked. "The mall." Duo replied. So THEY left for the mall.

"Im here to pick up the wedding dress for Hilde Schbecker." Hilde told the lady at the counter. Chronos smiled. "Its beautiful." He said. Hile smiled. "Thank you Chronos." She said, kissing him. Duo walked up to the counter with Heero following. "Yah, I want to pick up Evence Shampoo." Duo mumbled. Hilde stopped kissing Chronos. The only person tht uses Evence shampoo is....... Hilde thought. "Duo?" She asked, seeing Duo across from her. "Hilde....." Duo breathed. He saw the guy next to her. "Heres your shampoo sir." The man said. Duo grabbed it. He saw Chronos and Hilde holding hands. "Congradulations at you wedding." Duo mumbled, as a few tears rolled down his cheeks. Then he went running. "DUO!" Hilde yelled after him. "Heero, tell him Im sorry for not inviting him!" Hilde said quickly. Heero nodded and went running after Duo. "Who was that?" Chronos asked. "An old friend." Hilde said. She wiped the tear streak on her cheek.

"I hope you have fun at your wedding tomarrow Hilde." Relena said. Hilde was trying on her dress, and Relena was trying on hers. It was night time. "I know, I hope you have fun being the maid of honor." Hilde said. She sniffed, and wiped her eyes. "Whats wrong Hilde?" Relena asked, sitting next to her. "Do you think Chronos is nice?" Hilde asked. "Yes, but Ive only met him twice. Why?" Relena asked. "I dont think Im in love with him." Hilde sobbed. "Its probably before-the-wedding-jitters. I had them before me and Heero were married." "No, its not that......." Hilde mumbled. "Well what then?" Relena asked. "I think Im in love with Duo..." Hilde said. "You should tell Duo this, not me." Relena suggested. "I cant, he probably never has forgiven me....but I know its for sure. I love Duo." Hilde said.

"Heero, I miss Hilde." Duo mumbled. "I know Duo." Heero said. "Im still in love with her." Duo mumbled. "I know Duo." Heero repeated. "Duo, Ive already told you once, go tell her." Heero said. Duo stared at Heero. Heero smiled at the sight of the blue, curious eyes. "Go to her." Heero said. Duo grinned, and nodded. Then left.

Gentle knocking came to Hilde's door. "Ill get it, you dry your tears." Relena said. She opened the door and gasped. She saw a sad Duo, with tear streaks down his face, and a loving look in his eyes. "She's in there." Relena whispered. Duo walked into the room in which Hilde was in. "Relena, who was it?" Hilde asked, turning around. "Duo....." She whispered. Then she glared. "Duo! You having the nerve coming here after what I went through 3 months ago!" Hilde screamed. She pounded on his chest. "You have that nerve!" She yelled, the tears falling. Duo smiled. "You look very pretty Hilde." Duo said. She stared in awe at him. "You didnt freak out like always!" She exlaimed. "I was dumb Hilde. Dumb and lazy. But most of all I was happy. I was happy for I was with you. But then I got lazy, and freaked out. Im so sorry Hilde. So very sorry." Duo said, staring right at Hilde. "Duo....quit looking at me like that......Duo, stop it!" Hilde said, smiling. He stared dreamily at her. Then he hugged her. "I love you Hilde. And you ALWAYS will have a place in my heart." Duo said. She hugged him back. Then stepped away. "Be right back." She said. She called Chronos. "Chronos, Im sorry, but I cant marry you. Im in love with someone else. Please understand." Hilde said quickly into the phone. "Phew, thats rocks Hilde! Cause Im in love with someone else too!" Chronos said. Then he hung up. "Oh no! But everyone is still attending the wedding tomarrow!" Hilde said. "Dont worry, I have an idea!" Duo said. Hilde smirked. "Thats what Im afraid of." She said jokingly. Her, Relena, and Duo fixed plans for the wedding that night.

"Good, Chronos called his family and told them not to come!" Hilde exlaimed. "Hah, I cant wait to see the look on Heero's face when he sees this!" Duo said. The wedding music started. Heero walked down the isle holding Relena's hand. Then he gasped. "Relena, thats Duo!" Heero exlaimed. "I know. Me, him, and Hilde made these new plans" Relena said. So thats the way it went. Duo got married to Hilde instead, and Heero went on being amazed. And trust me, Duo hasnt grinned as much as that day.
