Who pays the most for their players?
Are you at the top of the list?

After USAToday released the MLB player salaries for 2000, I took the list and compiled a list of players from the MDSL only.  Then I added the total salaries for each MDSL team and computed a per player average.  The difference in salaries between the top and bottom is startling.  It should be interesting to see if those who pay the most get the best results.  Or is there a Baltimore Oriole team lurking out there in the MDSL this season.  Anyway, this was done just for fun.  See how your team stacks up.  By the way, the three teams with the deepest pockets are none other than the three Neaton boys.

NOTE: Some players were not listed in the MLB player salary listing.  These players were not on the 40 man rosters on opening day.  Thus some teams' total is divided by a different number to arrive at the average for that team.
