The manuscript (actually a typescript) dates to the early 1940's. Several informants contributed data to it, including Dru L. Pippin of Waynesville, Pulaski County, Missouri.
The central theme of the work, that all Pippins in the US were related, has been disproven. The ancestors of Dru's great-grandfather, Hill Pippin, remain a mystery. Many have speculated; none yet have proven.
Nevertheless, the manuscript contains much valid data and several interesting letters and observations. It shows where Pippin genealogical research was back in the 1940's. But it's about 100 pages long. Rather than using latex2html to construct web pages out of it, I have simply linked to this PDF file, which can be viewed in Acrobat and the like, saved, and printed out if one needs a copy for reference.
