cae-058 - MICRECONOMICS

I am UESC’s professor of Microeconomics. I hope collaborate with the construction of UESC, making the landscape of microeconomic knowledge, with its plains and plateaux, valleys and peaks, meridian and dark views; to do that it is necessary getting fine construction materials wherever they are.

Of course the NET is an essential instrument for that. Sure during that objective work to do also the self construction.

I’m Agronomist B.S. (FAMeSF-Juazeiro/BA-1966) and Rural Economist (UFV-Viçosa/MG-1980). Besides, I had taken the following specialization course: Before-Service Rural Extension Course ( CETREINO-ANCARPE-ANCARBA-Recife/PE, 1969), Agricultural Extension ( Israel Agricultural Ministry and CETREINO-Recife/PE, 1970 and IV Course of Agricultural Planning ( SUDENE/CEPA-MINISTERIO DA AGRICULTURA, Recife/PE, 1972. I have worked in Rural Extension Service, in Teaching and in CEPEC/CEPLAC’s Research . In the last one , from 1977 until 1992.

To teach Microeconomics I believe to be necessary a great openmindedness. The discipline works with abstract models, mathematical in essence, which explain the economic agents behavior in the real world. Thus it is absolutely necessary to be linked in the models and in the world. To know theories and realities. Study, research, extension, these are the path. Like a Professor I try to do that walking. I wish partnership in this journey. I want to go together. Work with.

If we have difference of language, if our tongues can’t intercommunicate, go beyond . Let’s use English, the in fact international language and/or Esperanto, the by rights one.

I work about

Introduction to Microeconomics – supply x demand

Theory of consumer behavior

Analysis of demand

Theory of production

Theory of costs

Market and price formation

having openness to new investments in new lands and by new paths.
