Here I am with my guide for the week Jack on the motorbike after retuning from my adventure into the mountains of West Timor. I can not tell you how sore my behind was during and after the trip! We finally got back to Kupang at 6 p.m. - 12 hours after setting out.

After returning from West Timor I set of for Kakadu National Park which is the largest National Park in Australia, and about 200k south of Darwin. On the way into the park I took a river boat trip on the Adelaide River to see the jumping Crocodiles - and they certainly do! This Croc was over 4m long.
The Tour Guide holds a piece of pork on the end of a pole and the Crocs just come up to the boat and go for it!

Kakadu National Park belongs to the local Aboriginals, but has been leased back to the government. The park covers some 400 sq miles, and is famous for it's outstanding Aboriginal Rock Art - some of which goes back for 10 thousand years. This is a Wallaby at Nanguluwur Rock.

Some of the pictures are just amazing and all tell a story of Aboriginal Folklore.
