I travelled up to Montville and the nearby Kondalila Fall which were in fall flow. I now know why they are called Rain Forests...I got soaked on the way there. A bright blue sky when I set off, but on the way the heavens opened and I got wet though to the bone - still well worth the soaking.

I arrived in Rainbow Beach and this it...miles and miles of white sand with hardly any people...but it's also used as a road for 4 Wheelers and so road rules apply - some hope of that!
I spent the 21st April on Fraser Island the largest sand island in the World. We drove along 75 mile beach and spotted this Dingo in the dunes - they have been known to attack people!

This chap was sunbathing at Fraser Island - can't say I blame him...fantastic place

Lake MacKenzies is a fresh water lake on Fraser Island, with white silica sand - the depth of colour is amazing! Had a quick dip and sunbake on the shore before heading off for my plane ride over the island...
