From the West Coast of Tassie I drove south to Hobart where I reminisced about the time I lived and worked there...then on to Kingston Beach where Ken, Kellie and the girls live. I put 'Dianna; in the drive way and settled in very nicely (thanks to Ken and Kellie's wonderful hospitality)for a couple of wonderful weeks. Kellie said that I needed fattening up and did her very best to do so! Kellie and I took a flight down to the South West, and here we are waiting for take off.

The weather was just perfect on the day of the flight - this is Southport Lagoon. The colour of the water was just fantastic.
This is the southern most point of Tasmania.

We flew down and west to Cox's Blight where we landed for morning coffee which was served by the pilot off the tail wing of the plane... The only way in, is by boat, to fly or walk. I'm glad we took this option!

These little parrots are called Orange Bellied Parrots which are on the endangered list and so we were very luck to see them at the Bird Observatory near the airstrip at Melaleuca where we also picked up ywo people who had been bush walking for a couple of days.
