Exmouth is famous for whale watching. During August and September Hump Back whales and their calf's travel south for the winter. The whales come in really close to shore, and you can if you are lucky see them from the beach. I went out on a whale watching trip for the day. Within 20 minutes I had seen six whales and their calf's! just a magic experience. You can just see the tail of this one disapearing...

We also saw loads of Green Turtles on the trip...Heres one that has been munching on a Jelly Fish.
After leaving Exmouth I travelled south to Denham and Shark Bay. About 28km from Denham is Monkey Mia. Dolphins have been coming up to the beach for about 30 years to be hand fed! I was lucky enough to be chosen to fed one of the Dolphins.

This Dolphin definately was watching me!

All together there are eight Dolphins that regulary come in to the beach to be fed. They feed the Dolphins a maximum of three times a day.
