June 22nd, 2008 Oh POMpom. We have your synopsis finally: "Diagnosed with schizophrenia as a child, sixteen-year-old Erin has spent half of her life in therapy and on drugs, but now must face the possibility of weird things in the real world, including shapeshifting friends and her "alter," a centuries-old vampire." Also, looks like "Cooper" might be being named "Night's Plutonian Shore" according to AAR's website. Another Poe reference, it seems. And knowing is half the battle, Verity February 28th, 2008 As promised, I have added pages for "Persistence of Memory" (otherwise known as POMpom) and "Untitled- Cooper" over on the Books page. Discuss amongst yourselves, Verity p.s.- I made those cover images, they are not the real covers for the books. Sorry. They'll change as soon as I have something to replace them with. Don't expect that too soon. February 20th, 2008 Sorry for the lack of updates for the past... year? I had problems with the account and couldn't get into it, or to the email aspect. So if you sent any email this past year, I did not get it. You can send again if you really want to. The news that's happened in this past year: If Wyvernhail made any headlines, I didn't find them. Same with the short from 666. Anyone get around to reading it? Let everyone else know what you thought. Untitled 2008 is officially titled "Persistence of Memory". Your thoughts? I know mine is "What?" Sounds like (beyond being a complete rip-off of a good piece of art by Salvador Dali) a sappy romance or heartwarming family drama. Oh well. Also it seems like POM-pom won't be out until 2009. What a slacker. After that will be something called "Cooper". From what I've read, Amelia wrote the first draft this past November for National Novel Writing Month. It was accepted within three months. Has to be a record. (And I'm wary of any book that hasn't had a chance to stew for a while before seeing her editor, nevermind that it was written in 30 days.) I'll get to work on new pages and adding this content. Email is now working. As always, please join the discussion at the board! And forever, Verity March 13th, 2007 Time for TAAH to change hands again. Hello TAAH members (how many are left? 2? 3?), and welcome to the New Age of TAAH. A golden age to be sure. If Malis was the bronze, and Typhoid Mary was the silver, then please make your hellos to moi, Verity. It means "truth" and that's TAAH's new game. As my first official duty as TAAH webmistress, I have a few new pages for you. I posted a page for Wyvernhail, the 5th and final book in the Kiesha'ra Series. It's due this September. There's now a page for 666: The Number of the Beast. Amelia wrote a short story for that collection even though she doesn't write short stories. Her love of Christopher Pike (also in the collection) won out on that one and so now there's a sneak at her next book's characters. The characters in Empire of Dirt, the short story, will play large roles in the untitled 2008 book. The AAR 2008 book brings us back to current day. That means, yes you bloodsucker fans, the vampires are returning. Known information on AAR 2008 is posted on the page. In the future, all information on the books will be kept on one easy-to-use page. There is a new message board for you. If you have more Amelia pics, send them my way. You can contact me at veritytaah@yahoo.com. If you have a link you'd like me to include, please contact me. I've done my job. Now go do yours. Tell your AAR-reading friends TAAH has made its triumphant return. We promise to bring you the truth about Amelia's books, have an open forum for intelligent discussion, and keep the crazy fangirls at bay. Or should we say, over on Amelia's site. :D Always, Verity |
