Elke:
"Unfortunately I wasn't able to go to London on the
28th yet, but I was happy to see both HIM and The
Mission on the 1st. HIM's set was very short, but I
had expected that... If you want to read my little
report and see some more pics I made there, just go to
www.oocities.org/elkeheyligen/London.html
You'll notice that Linde is my favourite HIM member
(even my favourite musician), I'm sorry for those who
can't stand him *hehe*
And Greg and Anne: it was nice to meet you there :o)
If you want to mail me any comments: you're welcome -

The gig in London was sooo cool! Sure, they played only 1 h 10, but that's
quite normal for them! (I wasn't there, but apperently the support-act for
The Mission was even shorter!) I know about that, so I wasn't disappointed.
And you have to consider, it should be a Promotion-concert, so what did you
expect for 6 £ 50?!? The band can't show consideration for everyone and
their travelling expenses!
I found the whole band was good-tempered and very friendly!!! They played
very well! Before concert they gave autographs and made photos in a pub 50
meters from the venue!!! Ville laughed, made jokes and pulled faces. I think
the holiday did them good!
Finally, for 6 £ 50 I get all I expected, autographs, photos and a short but
very good concert! Brevety is the soul of wit! Travelling expenses is
everyone's own problem, after all a London-Trip isn't be lost! I was very
glad to see London, I'm very impressed of this beautiful city!
Ok, that's all ;-) Hope to see you all again in Brussels next year ;-)
Rob (U.K.):
Iwent to the barfly club gig...it was a small intimate
event...but a good rock gig all the same.... funny
really though...because this band play much bigger
venues and places on the continent, I'm sure.... so it
was kinda like watching a new undiscovered or unsigned
band do a pub gig...the only exception was many of the
specatators already knew words to the songs.
The band were in a local pub near to the club before
the gig also...where they were recognised and oggled
at for most of the night by fans, before they did the
gig.
good band...good show.....rock n roll !
I know more of you went to the concert(s) in London (even non-Belgian fans). So please send your stories/remarks (en dat mag gerust ook in het Vlaams!!) or pictures to:
