Hieronder vind je enkele verhalen van HeartagramClub-leden die op 30 oktober in de Botanique waren of op andere plekken bij HIM concerten waren. Was jij ook ergens bij deze concerten en wil je ook jouw mening geven, laat me dat dan weten. Stuur een mailtje!

Het concert was fantastisch. Ze lieten zich van zowel hun hardere kant als hun zachtere kant zien en ik vind het ook geweldig dat zij deze twee kanten zowel op CD als live goed kunnen brengen. Ook was het fijn dat je soms na een hard nummer even op een zacht nummer kon chillen na al dat gespring en geroep waarna je weer uitgerust was om terug lekker wild te doen. Ze speelden ook zeer goed en alles van geluidskwaliteit tot sfeer was geweldig. Het was één van de beste momenten uit m'n leven en als ik het opnieuw zou kunnen doen zou ik dat zeker en vast doen.

Het concert in Brussel was echt "tha bomb" (geen referentie naar elf september, :)) En de OOmph waren ook fantastisch, ik heb me super geamuseerd.

Yeah, it was great!! Moet zeggen dat het de eerste keer dat ik een grote (of vrij grote) groep op zo'n kleine schaal zag optreden, en het is gewoon far better dan zo met 5000 of 10000 man.. Je kon inderdaad zien dat ze er zelf ook wel leute in hadden... conversaties met publiek enzo ;) Ik persoonlijk vond het zalig..heb genoten van minuut 1 tot minuut last.. en denk echt wel dat het goed was.. aangezien ventje, die helemaal geen HIM fan is het ook goed vond ;) De zaal en de isolatie ervan zorgde er ook voor dat de geluisdkwaliteit ronduit schitterend was... het pluspunt van een dergelijk concert tegenover het festival waar ik ze eerder had gezien (Werchter 2000) is dat iedereen in de zaal speciaal voor hun komt.. ik persoonlijk heb enkele keren gewoon even de ogen gesloten en me laten meeslepen met de sfeer.. en't was gewoon de MAX! Wanneer komen ze terug???? ..het spel met hoge en lage tonen, maakt het toch echt wel iets meer dan een doorsnee bandje.. ik vind ze schitterend, en het concert heeft er geen afbreuk aangedaan, heeft het alleen maar erger gemaakt...ze hebben mijn volle respect verdiend, ook als live band!!!

Natuurlijk was ik één van de gelukkigen die dinsdag in de Botanique stond! en er bestaat echt geen twijfel over, het was zaaaaaaalig. echt heavenly suffering... :) het was de eerste keer dat ik HIM live gezien heb, maar het is zeker niet de laatste keer. dus je zal het wel al doorhebben, ik vond het geweldig. (hoe kan het ook anders?!) trouwens al mijn favoriete nummers die ze gespeeld hebben, dus dit was een gelukkige meid dinsdagavond!

Ik ben samen met mijn nicht (Sandra) naar Brussel geweest en toen we op zoek waren naar de zaal kwamen Migé, Linde en Burton langs onze neus voorbij... We zijn hen direct achterna gelopen en hebben zo de zaal gevonden. Ik vervloek mezelf nog steeds dat ik geen fototoestel had meegenomen! Tijdens het concert stond ik recht voor Ville op de derde rij ofzo dus kon mijn avond niet meer stuk. Ik ben nu nog meer HIM-verslaafd dan na hun optreden in Werchter!! (en toen was het al héél erg) Ik weet niet of je hier iets aan hebt maar ik kan het nog altijd niet goed geloven en ik hoop hen snel nog eens te zien (en geloof mij dan vergeet ik zeker geen fototoestel!!!)

Once again i wasn't able to meet them in person... so maybe next time... fifth time, best time... or whatever...but it was SO GREAT! At first we didn't find the place, Botanique from the station... the train was so damn late that we had to run the whole time... thinking we would never find it... but we did and when we finally arived 10 minutes too late, the room was filled with people... so we stood at the left side of the room... i was so disapointed, you see i'm rather small and i thought i wouldn't be able to see anything of the concert... but there was a really friendly dutch woman standing in front of me who told me i could go and take her place... And to my surprise some people left and i was standing in front of the stage, 2nd row or something like that... not in the center but right in front of the place where Migé would stand later on that evening...i felt great, knowing i would see them really good...

The vibe in the room was great, the audience was pleasant, there weren't many screamy teens, so that was a change...the lights dimmed and a German band got on stage... they were called Oomph! not really my type of music... but they were really funny: it seemed like the whole band was searching for a girlfriend in the audience, which led to some extremely funny incidents, one of the guitarplayers threw a bottle of water to some thirsty girls but forgot to screw the top back on... and you can imagine what happened, the girls were wet from head to toe :) (ow and btw, he had a great guitar, with a broken miror on it!) they got off stage and then we were left... waiting for THE moment of the evening... the moment HIM would step foot on stage... Everything was being prepared, Gas'drum was roled on stage, i didn't know he had a new one... it looked great... and big! :) The guitars and keyboard were beeing tuned and as usual a roady asked us, girls to take of our bra's and/or thongs and throw them to the band :)

And then... the spots were turned on and the band took place on stage... the all looked great... except for Migé that is... he didn't look awfull (i mean its still Migé, there is no way he could look awfull) but he looked a bit tired... but as professional as they are, you couldn't notice it in any way when he was playing... They played the regular songs "Your sweet 666", "Poison Girl", "Wicked Game", "Join Me", "Gone with the Sin", "Burry me deep inside your heart"... and of course some of the new songs too... "Pretending", "Close to the flame", "Heartache every moment", "In Joy and Sorrow", etc... it was the first time i saw Burton performe, and he does a nice job! you know i will never forget Juska but Burton makes a great replacement, he's different and gives a new and catchy vibe to the songs, although he doesn't shake it like Juska once did, his shake comes pretty close ;) his clothes weren't really my style... though his t-shirt was funny, it looked like some kind of doctor or nurse-vest with a stetoscope and that kind of stuf drawn onto it :) and of course he was wearing his old cowboyhat, which made a funny impression when he was dancing to the music... it looked like he was riding an imaginary horse

Ville looked great too, dressed in a black pants and a black t-shirt with a picture of Elvis printed on it :)he was smiling all the time, joking around and looking with love in his eyes at Migé when he sang :)he was constantly laughing with things the crowd shouted and really interacted with the audience he received a letter with m&m's attached to it and told us he prefers the brown ones, so maybe that's an idea for a next concert...throw brown m&m's ;) and if you ever meet the band, ask them what colour the other members prefer ;) Ville almost tripped over a teddy/devilbear somebody threw at stage, which was pretty funny too :) ofcourse he smoked like a chimney! my friend Sofie & I think we saw him smoke almost 2 packs of cigarettes (and I just quit smoking, which made it quite hard for me *s*) another funny thing was that he told the crowd he would try the thong on that some girl had thrown to stage *lmao*

Gas banged the night away... i wasn't able to see him a lot because someone stood in front of him... but when i could catch a glimpse of him he was banging his drums like his life depended on it... and in a way i guess it does :) And then ofcourse, last BUT NOT LEAST or dear Linde... i stood rather far from the point he was standing/playing but he did what he always does... he mesmerized the crowd with his heavenly guitarsounds, looking rather shy (as ever) and nodding along with the music... taking no notice of anything around him, just playing along and (i think) running around in his magical fantasyworld, where elves, dwarves, hobbits and ofcourse unicorns take him to places we cant even imagine :) and now i have proof!! for everyone who has seen the movie 'Lord of the Rings' the elf Legolas looks exactly like Linde... see, I knew there was something magic about him!! he's an elf!!! :)

When they played "Burry me deep inside your heart" the crowd sang along so powerful Ville stopped singing for some minutes and smiling at everybody who was singing along :) It gave a good impression and made everybody laugh ;) when the band disapeared backstage for the first time, i felt a feeling go through the crowd... last year, they dissapeared too, but never came back... of course, the atmosphere was different and Ville was ill, but still i was afraid that it was over... But then, out of the blue Ville appeared again on his own, with his accoustic guitar... telling us that the rest would come in a few seconds... a few girls in the audience asked if he would play "Resurrection"... he smiled, strummed his guitar and sang the first part of "Resurrection" on his own... improving a little... You could hear he hadden't practiced it on his guitar, still it sounded heavenly and everybody was pleased...last year the band gave us the feeling we, the belgian fans, didn't mean a big deal to them... but they made every thing worth wide in the end :) and then Migé, Linde, Gas & Burton appeared on stage... playing some more songs and leaving us... with the sad feeling that it was over once again, but fulfilled... and happy because it was so beautiful and magical :) I hope they will come back soon, give us some more of those magical vibes and leave us breathless, as they did last tuesday... and i hope that i will once have the honour to talk to them and ask them the things that are on my mind since the beginning i started listening to them :)

OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH.... my GOD, HE was gorgious, extraordinary, very beautiful. It surely was worth the waiting. Jeeeezes hij is gewoon perfect. Meer volk in elk geval dan vorig jaar in antwerpen, maar ook een kleinere zaal. Er zijn ook enkelen van hun stokje gedraaid, niet te doen. De drukte was enorm, het was er warm, en als je dan weinig gegeten hebt of gedronken heb je het zitten. En als er dan nog op de koop toe DE SENSUEELSTE sexgod het podium omtovert tot hemel op aarde............. De meisjes zijn toch tot hun positieven gekomen, gelukkig. Er bestaan geen woorden om mijn bewondering voor hem te verwoorden, maar wel een intens gevoel. In ieder geval, DAT ze maar snel terugkomen!!!

Het concert in Brussel was gewoon FANTASTISCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ik heb alleen spijt dat ik geen fototoestel bijhad toen ik Linde tegenkwam in de gang van de Botanique!! En Ville was natuurlijk weer supersexy zoals gewoonlijk en ik vond voor de eerste keer dat ik ze live zag ze heel goed waren!!!!!! Ik ben natuurlijk ook zo blij omdat ik om ne moment riep 'join me' en ik vind het heel cool dat Ville dat lieke heeft gezongen, toen begon ik toch wel bijna te huilen toen ik bedacht dat het weer lang gaat duren vooraleer ik ze zou terugzien... Ik vind zo'n kleiner concert wel gezelliger omdat ze dan meer contact hebben met de fans!! Wat ik ook wel leuk vond is dat ik juist aan het podium stond, en ik gooide een kusje naar Ville en hij knipoogde eens...ik viel bijna flauw!!!! Wat ik onozel vind is dat mensen zoals bij mij op school altijd zo'n vooroordeel hebben als ik over hen praat...ze moesten eens weten wat HIM voor mij betekend...

Ik vond het super fantastisch, 'diabolically' goed :) Ik heb Ville nog nooit zo goedgezind gezien!!!! Hij was echt in een goede bui! Het was heel wat anders in vgl. met de vorige keer! Ik stond op de eerste rij (lucky me!) vlak voor Linde. Ik heb zelfs aan z'n broek gekomen! Ja, the stupid things you do é. Ik heb spijtig genoeg geen foto's genomen.

Saskiaaa:

Paradiso/Amsterdam - 29-10 - 21.00 uur - concert HIM

Wow het concert van him was echt supergaaf!! Het is nu maandagavond (dinsdagochtend?) 0.46.. toen ze gone with the sin gingen spelen ging ik huilen. Ze waren echt zo mooi. Bij wicked game huilen. Bij join me huilen. Gillen. Het was zo speciaal. Jarenlang fan en dan zie je ze in het echt. Emotioneel beseffen is zo mooi. De voorprogramma band was ook erg cool. Oompf ofzo. Nou ja headbangen dus!! :) jammer genoeg kon ik niet de aandacht van Ville trekken. Wowo wat een snuiferd. Roken de hele tijd. Blikje bier. En dan ook nog iets uit een sterkere fles ofzo. Ja hij zag er echt uit alsof hij had gesnoven. Tja HOLLAND AMSTERDAM! DRUGS hahhahahahah echt wel. En z'n engels gebrabbel daar verstond ik geen hol van.. ze waren echt cool . Ville leek in het echt nog magerder. In het begin een jas, maar na 1 nummer uit. Hij bleef de hele tijd staan. Live zingen dat wel, met z'n kont naar achteren. Soort sexy dansen. Strakke broek. Wowo mooi opgemaakt. Hij zag er echt lekker uit. Maar zingen.. poe soms wist ik in het begin niet welk nummer het was. Ze maakten weinig contact met het publiek, maar Ville af en toe lachen. Het is ook echt een schatje. Lilly op z'n gitaar was cool, klonk echt goed.. De dikke kale drummer ging uit z'n dak. Mige negeerde ons maar ik heb wel oogkontact met hem gehad. Het geluid stond enorm hard. Veel harder dan het voorprogramma. Het was flink hard allemaal. Gelukkig niet zo popachtig als het laatste album. Dit was meer lawaai en dat was gaaf joh. lekker rock! Veel buitenlandse verkopers. Jammer dat Ville zo vaag zong, maar wel zo vol emotie. en zeker niet saai. De lichten waren mooi, donkerrood en wit enzow flikkerend. Af en toe stoom waar Ville stond. rook. Whatever, en hij rookte dus af en toe werd ik misselijk. Stond drie rijen van het podium aan de linkerkant. Het was helemaal uitverkocht. Yeah vet gezellig, erg jammer dat ze geen Daniel Lioneye nummer speelden. Je kon wel veel verschillende tshirts en posters en al die dingen kopen, niet echt duur dus dat was cool :) Ville had een mouwloos truitje aan. Mige z'n vage hoed enzo, Lilly was erg jammie met z'n dreadlocks en die kale Miko achter de drums dat weet ik niet daar heb ik niet op gelet ;) drumde wel stoer trouwens. Ville ging ook nog even gitaar spelen. Was best mooi. Hij trok de raarste bekken. Bij sommige liedjes was het net of z'n gevoel er echt werd ingelegd. Alsof de tekst echt op hem sloeg en hij schreeuwde af en toe echt wild. Kortom, het was vet gaaf en ik zal het nooit vergeten...

Over het concert, het was gewoon mega!!!!! zonder enige twijfel hét beste dat ik ooit al heb gezien!!! en iedereen deed zo zalig mee, ik vond het gewoon adembenemend!!!! Ze waren alle 5 op hun best. en Ville heeft zo'n goede interactie met het publiek altijd plezant. En we hebben nog een exclusiviteit gekregen: resurrection acoustisch!!! hoeveel artiesten zouden dat doen denk je?? ze zijn gewoon THE best!!!

Het concert in Brussel was echt fantastisch.Ik had ook de indruk dat zij zich amuseerden.In Parijs was het optreden ook niet slecht,maar zeker niet zo goed als in Brussel.Mijn vriendin vond hem zelfs slecht die avond,maar zij is dan ook niet zo'n fan als ik en is dus veel kritischer!Nu zei Ville op het optreden zelf ook wel dat hij niet 100 procent zichzelf was want hij had last van zijn oren en had al 3 niet geslapen en dus kan ik daar alleen maar begrip voor opbrengen.Ik vind het zowiezo zeer spijtig dat de optredens al achter de rug zijn.
