Hi, My name is Kim Nichols. I live in Livingston, Ca. I have raised and shown rabbits for over 15 years now. I started out raising Rex rabbits. I currently am raising Himalayans and Lionheads. Himalayans are very unique. They are the only breed of rabbit that has a cylindrical body type. They are known for their docile behavior. As a former 4-H and FFA rabbit leader, I highly recommend Himalayans for a showmanship project. Himalayans come in four varieties. (black, blue, chocolate and lilac). Himalayans are easy to handle which makes them a great starter rabbit for children. Lionheads are a fairly new breed. They have come to be a popular breed. They come in many varieties. Lionheads get thier name because of the mane of wool around thier necks as they mature. They are adorable! I wouldn't recommend them for young children as they can be a bit hyper. Let me know if you are interested in any rabbit information or in my rabbits. God bless!! and enjoy my site. Kim |
