(Original Music by James Horner-sama, Lyrics by Will Jennings, Performed Celine Dion, and the music video plot by last but not least, Kaoru RK!)
Every night in my dreams, I see you, I feel you
(Misao is sleeping restlessly in her bed)
That is how I know you go on
(She suddenly sits up in the darkness of her room, panting, as if the dream she had come out of a strenuous dream)
Far across the distance and spaces between us, you have come to show you go on
(Cut to a close up of Misao's eyes, which reflect images of her younger self huging Aoshi)
Near, far, where ever you are, I believe that the heart does go on
(She puts on her sandles, and slowly stands up. Her eyes are staring off, as if thinking)
Once more, you open the door
(Misao hand goes into a small pocket on her shirt)
And you're here in my heart
(She pulls out a yellow and white scrap of cloth, from Aoshi's coat)
and my heart will go on and on
(She closes her eyes, and holds the cloth to her chest. After the drum beats at the end of the word "on" the scene then moves to up, to a forest where Misao (young) and Aoshi are sitting under a tree.)
Love can touch us one time, and last for a lifetime
(Misao is on her belly, looking at a dragon fly with awe, and Aoshi bends down, so that his face is next to hers. A tiny silver ring sparkles on her pointer finger.)
and never let go till we're gone.
(Misao, seeing Aoshi next to her, grabs him with her arms and hugs him tight. The dragonfly flutters off as Aoshi, cracking a small smile, hugs her back.)
Love was when I loved you, one true time I hold to
(Misao (young), sitting on Hanya's shoulders, reaches up and kisses Aoshi on the cheek. Aoshi pats her on the head and smiles)
In my life we'll always go on
(Misao (present) is now sitting under the same tree mentioned earlyer, looking at the scrap of cloth. She suddenly get up and dart off into the forest.)
Near, far, where ever you are
(Cut to Aoshi (present) walking down an old forest path. He has a stern look in his eyes, but he looks up at the moon, thoughtfully)
I believe that the heart does go on.
(He takes off one of his fingerless gloves, and glances at the tiny sliver ring on his pinky. It's the same ring young Misao was wearing.)
Once more, you open the door
(With his other hand he feels the smooth, shiny ring.)
And you're here in my heart
(He then makes a fist with that hand.)
and my heart will go on and on
(He looks at the ring, and then he begins to run down the old path.)
(Cut to Misao running through the forest, where she stops suddenly. Cut back
to Aoshi running, where he stops. The scene then shows both, standing a mere
three feet away from each other. They stare for a moment.)
You're here, there's nothing I fear
(Misao's eyes fill with tears of joy, and she steps closer, with a hand out
streched.)
And I know that my heart will go on
(She gently touches his cheek with her hand, and he put his ungloved hand over
her own.)
We'll stay forever this way
(She leans up on tip toes and put her arms around his neck.)
You are safe in my heart
(He puts his arms around her waist and lifts her up, so their faces are
close.)
and my heart will go on and on.
(Their lips touch, and they share a long kiss, as the music fades off.)
