| Oscar De La Hoya scored an 11th round TKO over Fernando Vargas in their much anticipated Middleweight unification bout in Las Vegas. De La Hoya for the most part, whipped that ass! Never underestimate the Golden Boy. After wobbling Vargas at the end of the 10th round, he came out in the 11th with a wicked left hook that dropped Vargas, and then proceeded to batter him against the ropes until referee Joe Cortez stepped in to stop the fight. All of that shit that Vargas talked, he couldn`t back it up! |
