Table-tennis

Another game I often played with Miss Chestnutt, together with badminton, these two seems to go hand in hand.  There was also another close friend that played a close game with me, Ruth, Ruthie as we called her.

I haven't had much professional training in table-tennis, I just play the sport and somehow picked it up from when my mum was working in a sports center.  Dad and I would often go there and play while we're waiting for mum at the office.  Many of my skills were picked up by watching other people play.

Even though I don't play professionally, it's enough to bring many triumph during my secondary school life.  There were no other matches except for house matches on table-tennis, and Ruth was in the same house as me so we never met on the table.  For five years I only lost one singles game, that was to Serena Davidson, another friend from my year, that was in Form 2 if I remember correctly.  Ever since they I've had an unbeaten run, but of course I could never beat the guys, especially the Chinese guys.

Even a 30 minute PE session on table-tennis can bring me into great sweat.  I believe that I must try my best at everything I do, so even a short 30 minutes I cannot relax.
