Handling Contract I wish to thank you at this time for enlisting my services in the showing of your dog. My rates and agreements are as follows : Fees: The undersigned owner agrees to pay the handler fees as set forth in this contract and is also agreed and understood that said parties will be responsible for all entry and veterinarian fees. Billings are due upon receipt. Late fees will apply to all overdue accounts. Cancellations of this contract must be made before entries close or all fees for shows entered will apply. Photographs will be made of all pointed wins and Group placements unless otherwise specified by the owner. The owner is responsible for all photo costs. The handler will receive photos at no charge. Liability: The handler shall not be held liable for the following: loss due to injury, death, theft, escape, injury to or from other dogs and persons or property. If insurance is desired it is the responsibility of the dog owners to seek this out and have it in place. Handler's Responsibilities: It is the handler's duty to present your dog in a professional manner and to abide by the by laws of the AKC in the showing of your dog. To give proper exercise and provide quality care. Documentation: Owners are to provide copies of veterinary certificates of health and vaccinations, as well as all relative health information, copies of any and all registration certificates and pedigrees. The owner will also provide accurate information on the number and type of conformation points that the dog has already won. Dog & Owner Information Owner's Name(s): Address: Phone (home): (mobile): Email: Dog's Registered Name: AKC Registration Number: Signature Date Terms and Rates Ringsinde Rates: 1) Handling fees: $40.00 per show including Group Competition** - $10 per point earned 2) Traveling Expenses: $30.00 for shows 60 miles or more from the Richmond, Virginia Area 3) Specialty fees: $50.00 - $20 per point earned or Reserve Winners 4) Grooming: $5.00/hour this is for major grooming and is up to the handler's descretion to what "major grooming" is 5) Training: $15.00/hour **Group and Best in Show Fees: ¨ Group IV $30.00 ¨ Group III $30.00 ¨ Group II $40.00 ¨ Group I $55.00 ¨ Best in Show $75.00 "Ringside" is defined as: Dogs that are groomed and trained, ready to step into the ring. It will be at the Handler's discretion as to the condition of the dog for the ring (i.e. if extra grooming or training is needed). Owners will have the dog waiting at ring side with show lead and arm band. My Policy is to provide the best care and presentation of your dogs. At times judgment calls will have to be made as to who will take a certain dog in to the ring. It will be my job to ensure that the best interest of all parties is met.
