Greetings and thanks for the cool little graphing program. I was surfing around the Net looking
for "graph plotter" software and came to this one on about the 3rd or 4th page of an MSN search.

Any chance you might add a couple of features to the program? I'm looking for something just like
Graph Explorer to create metafiles with for my tests and worksheets. (I'm a math teacher.) I've only
messed with the program for a few minutes but it seems like when I do the export to metafile, it makes
a really large picture. When I shring the image down to "put me in a test" size, it loses some info
in the size translation. Also, it would be nice if the extra dark lines (in multiples of tens) could
be turned off as an option.

All that being said, it's a really cool app and thanks for making it available at such a low price.
(Free is pretty good.)

Hello Arnab,

I am doing some private study on mathematical analysis (missed out educationally a bit, so trying
to catch up) and exercises in Burn's "Numbers and Functions" require a function drawing package.

I was delighted to see your product on the web. It is downloaded and I am now starting to get use
to scales, graphing strange looking functions etc.

The program looks perfect for what I need, and many thanks for making it available.

I'm an undergrad math major at the University of South Carolina, and I wasn't satisfied with the
output my TI 89 gave me for f(x) = sin(1/x), so I did a search for graphs, and up came your page.
I wish I had found it earlier, but I can see how it will come of use to me still.

I have not used all that it has to offer, but it appears very easy to use and understand, and the
ability to grab and move the graph around is clever!

Thanks,

Eric

I downloaded and tried Graph Paper from:
http://www.oocities.org/hirak_99/goodies/graph.html

1. Nice program - good work.
2. Comments/Suggestions

Re the documentation:
"To go back to normal zoom press Ctrl+S. Type 100 at both X Scale and Y Scale and click Set. The value you type here is actually the number of pixels that the program will take as 1 unit. As you can see, you can achieve uneven scaling from this dialog box."

I found that Ctrl+S did nothing, but Ctrl+R did a resize (to a standard?) Ctrl+Dragging allowed uneven scaling as documented.

Re the application:
The title is Graph PAPER, but down at the bottom on the right end of the status bar it says "Graph PLOTTER version 1.01"

Re: ArcCot(x)
I think you have a bug in the ArcCot function - ArcCot does not have a discontinuity at x=0. I believe the "left" side of your resulting graph belongs "tacked on" to the left (upper) end of the right side of your graph.
