Nakuru

Don't trust men with pink hair!!! XD I don't know what Eriol was thinking when he created Ruby Moon, but he must have his reasons to create a guy all dressed in red and pink.... ^_^;; It's strange Suppi finds Nakuru-kun's wearing of girls' uniform objective, yet don't find Ruby Moon's wearing of red and purple cloth and lipstick objective... But no one can say Touya's name as cute as Nakuru can! That "Touya~ kun!"

Thoughts on the Name: That "suspended long time" business... J-chan told me about it, but... I guess Nakuru is like the creation of Eriol's period of being suspended in his child form... Argh, I don't know! ^_^;; Oh, and red moon(see Sara-sama's thoughts) is rare and "omnimous". It rains when the moon's red. ^_^;; It has something to do with Moonlight reflecting thick water droplets around it, thus glowing red, and all that stuff... I understand that whole "genderless" business, but why Suppi insists on calling Nakuru "Nakuru-kun" will remain a mystery....

Eriol was being a little artistic with this creation. The name was a bit of self statement on Eriol's part, and since Nakuru insists on dressing like a girl and is totally flat, you can say s/he never hit puberty....

Nakuru-kun... Mm, think he's mostly there for comic relief 'cause 2nd season tends to get serious. Like Kero's role in 1st season. He serves his purpose, but he's also there to put some cuteness and laughter in the series. ^_^;;
I think Nakuru feels lonely, so he's extremely outgoing and exagerates his emotions so that even when he gets those feelings rejected, he doesn't feel pain. Eriol's kind, but he can't be his friend. I mean, technically Eriol is his father. They can't just hang out. And Suppi's not willing to do anything "brotherly" with poor Nakuru-kun. So he chose Touya as his "target" and tries to win affection from him, but Touya already has Yukito, so poor Naku-kun is... uh, acting really hyper to cover up the emptiness and pain he feels inside.
And there I go again, making happy characters the typical "sensitive and lonely inside but sugar-hyper outside to cover it up". ^_^;;

Sara-sama's thoughts on Nakuru + Touya:
I've said this once and I'll say I again: Nakuru is Touya's backpack, cause that's where she spends so much time. It's a wonder Touya hasn't strangled.

They would make an amusing pair, since Nakuru harasses Touya as much as I do Wing^_^, and Touya's too polite to protest. And Naku really does like him, probably cause Suppi's no fun, and Eriol is too busy with his own agenda. Then she sees Touya hanging out with someone similar to her, and thinks she can do the same. It's not a serious relationship she's looking for, neither is it magical attraction. However, this pairing won't work because

1) While she calls him Touya-kun, he calls her Akizuki
2) He's already taken
3) She doesn't make a good impression on him (see when Touya took Sakura's ice cream, and when Nakuru leaps from the 2nd floor)

But I hope she harasses him to her heart's content. (Wing: Mm-hm. And *Yue* will make a wonderful Uke, Hm?) (Yue: ... *chops off Wing's head for even thinking about it*)
