Cardcaptor Touya A black-haired boy raised a blue staff with a bird-like beak high in the air. Throwing a card into the air, he cried out, "Windy! Be as the chian of punishment!" With flash, the card released a female figure. She passed through a large animal. "Defensive cards don't work, you moron!" A girl in Chinese custom said, dodging a static that the animal emitted. "Shut yer trap, little girl!" A yellow stuffed animal snapped. Ignoring it, the girl threw a sticker into the air. As her silky black hair blew around her in the wind, she said, "Kashin! I command thee, hurry and come forth!" A massive fire wrapped the animal. Howling in agony, the animal fell down. "Return to the form in which thou should be in! Clow Card!" The girl lifted her sword up. The animal turned into a card. "Ever since I came, I got every single card that came along," The girl said, turning around to the boy with a smug smile. "This one makes four in a row. You sure you've got all 47 cards by yourself?" "Shut up," The boy snapped. "Geez, Kinomoto, how can I have any fun when my rival SUCKS?!" The girl said, laughing as she wrote her name on the card. "Get lost before I punch you in the face," The boy growled. "Barbarian," The girl said, sticking her tongue out. "That's enough, Mei," A tall teenager broke in, lifting her by the collar of her cloth. "Let's go home." "But Shaorang Oniichan, he started it!" Meiling protested as Shaoran briskly walked away. The boy looked after them, disapproval clearly written on his face. "I hate that brat," The yellow stuffed animal said, making a face. The boy looked down. "I'm sure you'll catch the next card, Touya," A boy with white hair quietly said. "Thanks, Yuki," Touya said, managing a smile for his best friend. "Well, at least, I've managed to get it all in the tape!" Yukito brightly said, holding up his video camera. Touya and the animal collapsed. <Cardcaptor Touya-- Clow Card> "Oneechan, wake up!" Touya shouted, pulling the blanket away. "Touya-chan....Five more minutes..." A teenager with long brown hair moaned, trying to retrieve the blanket. "Weren't you the one who set up the damn alarm block to go off to school at 6:45? It woke ME up," Touya said. "It's 7:00 already. And if you call me "Touya-chan" one more time, I"m punching a hole in your bicycle's wheels." The girl leaped up. "7?! I'm late!!!" Touya left, shaking his head as his sister racked her room searching for her cheerleaders' uniform. "Sakura Oneechan, hurry up!" Touya said, placing his roller skates on his feet. "Coming!' Sakura gulped down her milk and rushed to her bike. "Have a good day," Nadeshiko said, smiling. "Bye, Mother!" Sakura and Touya said, starting out for school. "You don't have to come this early, do you?" Sakura asked, puzzled. "Well, since I woke up early, I thought I'd practice some soccer or something..." Touya answered, blushing. Sakura knew that the students weren't allowed on the school field this early unless there was an official practice, but she didn't question him further. "Tomoyo-chan, ohayo!" A girl with long purple hair looked up. Her pretty violet eyes shone when she noticed Sakura. "Ara, Sakura-chan.... ohayo gozaimasu," She smiled at Touya. "Ohayo, Touya-chan." "O, Ohayo gozaimasu, Daidouji-san..." Touya mumbled, blushing scarlet. "H, how is the choir practice coming along?" "It's getting along great. Thank you," Tomoyo replied. "Oneechan's not getting hit by baton that often lately," Touya said. "Touya!" Sakura cried, blushing. Tomoyo smiled. "Here," Tomoyo said, handing Touya a candy as they stopped in front of his school. "Have a nice day," Touya looked after his sister and Tomoyo, blushing. Touya entered his classroom. "Ohayo, Touya," Yukito said, looking up at him. "What are you doing here so early?" A female voice asked in a rather acidic tone. "What the hell are you doing here?" Touya asked, wrinkling his eyebrows as if he saw something rather unpleasant. "Monitor duty," Meiling shot back. "And you?" "Here to blow up the school," Touya snapped. "Hopefully with someone trapped inside it." Meiling shot him a dirty look. The day seemed endless. It finally ended, and Touya shopped for groceries and placed them in the refridgerator. Then he entered his room. "Whatcha doin'?" He asked, throwing his bookbag across the room. "Watch where ya throw that thin'!" The yellow animal looked up from his video game. "I never saw such technique before!'" He suddenly cried, turning his attention back to the game. "Oh, so you've been playing video game all day again, Cerberus," Touya said, chucking his school uniform to the bed. "Ya shouldn't ignore joys of life, of course," Cerberus replied, furiously pressing his controller's buttons. "I thought I sensed an aura as I was coming home," Touya started. Cerberus dropped his game. "What the! Then ya should've told me as soon as ya got back home!" "Whatever," Touya replied. "It ain't whatever! There's only 1 more card left!" "That's nice," Touya said, taking out a handphone from his desk drawer. "Hello? Oi, Yuki, I think we should go Clow Card hunting." "Really? My mother made a new custom for you, too!" The voice at the other line happily informed him. "Yuki..." Touya moaned. "Why... the...hell...I mean...." "She doesn't know that it's about Clow Cards; she just thinks we're trying to make our own movie or something! Come on, otherwise she won't let me out. And this custom's one of my mum's moderate designs!" "And I remember last time you said that, the freakin' thing looked like some kinda swallow-tail tuxedo crap with all those frills!" Touya snapped. There was laughter from other line. "Well, it's black Chinese-styled cloth this time, so it's all right, really." "Oh, whatever," Touya snapped. "Meet me at the penguin park." "Got you," Yukito replied, surpressing another wave of laughter as he glanced at the custom. "....." Touya shot Yukito a murderous glance. "What?" Yukito asked innocently. "This looks exactly like what that...that... GIRL's wearing, except it's different color and it's pants!" Touya snapped. "I mean, of all...!!!" Cerberus was already on the floor, clutching his stomach as it hurt from laughing too much. "Ya sure ya don't have matching stickers ready?!!!" He managed to say, as he rolled on the floor from a fresh spasm of laughter. Suddenly there was a flash. "Firey!" Cerberus cried out, leaping up from the floor. His eyes met Touya's eyes. "GOOD LORD!" Cerberus cried, starting to laugh again. "VERY funny," Touya snapped, rolling up the long sleeves. The huge bells merrily jingled. "....!!!" Touya clenched his teeth and took out the key of Clow. "Key which hides...." The huge bow tied at his back blew up to the front, covering up his arms. "...This piece of...!!!" Touya ripped off the bow and started again. Yukito and Cerberus were clutching each other, helpless from laughter. "Key which hides the power of darkness!!! Show thy true self in front of us!!! As contract hath bounded, Touya commands!!! Release!!!" Touya screamed out, prouncing each syllable with clenched teeth. The key released into the staff from. A fire leaped out from tree next to them. "Watery!" Touya cried, throwing a card into the air. The fire ball ducked Watery, charging straight at Touya. "Run away!" He sharply cried, turning to Yukito. "Ah..." Yukito said, startled. "Suryo, come forth!" A voice cried, as a water dragon came charging at the fire ball. It glazed the fire ball, causing a thick steam to rise up. Meiling came up. "You okay, Tsukishiro?" She asked, turning to Yukito. "Yeah...thanks," Yukito said, rising up. "And Kinomoto, are you..." She turned to Touya. She stared at him. "What the hell happened to you?" "Laugh all you want, it's HE'S fault," Touya said, throwing a disgusted look at Yukito. "I know it's his mother's job for designing clothes and everything, but every time your clothes seem weirder and weirder..." Meiling said, shaking her head as she tried not to laugh too much. "I mean, my cloth was designed for female wear, not male wear. See these puffed sleeves?" "Don't I know?!" Touya snapped. "It.." Suddenly the fire ball charged at them again. "Suryo..." Meiling started out. It suddenly ducked underneath them. "Ah?" "KYAAAAA!!!" Meiling screamed, as fire glazed her ankle. "Shoot..." She kneeled on the ground, her expression becoming twisted. "Where's your cousin?!" Touya asked, helping her up. "He had lots of tests tomorrow, so I told him to stay home...." "You got to get home!" Touya cried. "No! I can..." The fire charged at them again. "Watery! Come to my aid!" Touya sharply said, throwing the Watery Card up to the air. The fire, blazing bright white now, fought Watery. "It's all my fault.. it's really mad now...." Meiling said, turning pale as Touya concentrated on Watery. Firey was too strong for it. It passed through Watery's barrier, surrounding the two. "Touya/Kinomoto!" Cerberus, Yukito, and Meiling cried as Touya held Meiling tightly. The fire engulfed Touya. "Kinomoto! Get out of the way!" Meiling screamed. "You moron! You'll die!" "Watery! Windy! Please, help me!" Touya cried, throwing the cards into the air. He clenched his teeth as the fire felt more and more painful. "Please..!" Suddenly, with a burst of light, Watery and Windy came forth. "Two elemental cards?!" Cerberus asked in disbelief. Touya clenched his teeth. "I'm..gonna...get...all...the cards!!!" He screamed, raising his staff higher. "If I leave them alone, more people will get hurt...! Please be strong for me...!" Meiling reached out and held his hand from behind. Touya, startled, turned to look at her. She closed her eyes, concentrating. Touya turned back with a slight smile, concentraiting harder. Firey struggled in vain, as Watery and Windy wrapped themselves around him. With a cloud of smoke, he fell down from the sky. "Return to....!" Touya dropped his sealing wand. Meiling held his hands tighter, helping him raise the sealing wand up. "Return to the form in which thou should be in! Clow Card!" Firey, struggling, started to return to his card form. With final burst of light, Firey returned to his card form. "Kinomoto..." Meiling started. Touya collapsed in her arms. "Kinomoto? Kinomoto?!" Yukito shut off the camcorder and ran over to Touya. "Touya-kun!" "He got hurt too much," Meiling said, helping Yukito raise him up. "Our house is really near here, so let's show him to Shaorang Oniichan. He'll be able to sooth the burns." "You sure he's not gonna poison Touya?!" Cerberus cut in. "Oh shut up, yellow stuffed animal," Meiling said, walking towards her home's direction. "Just what happened?" Shaoran asked, as he applied herbs to Touya. "Luckily this cloth was made of some really tough material, so Kinomoto wouldn't get any lasting scars or anything, but some of these are horrible burns. It's gonna hurt like crazy." Touya uneasily slept, his face twisted with pain that he even felt in his sleep. "It's all my fault.... poor Kinomoto-kun...." Meiling said, starting to cry. "Oi, little girl, didncha get that burn in yer ankle, too?" Cerberus asked, his tone a lot more softened. "It's nothing," Meiling said, looking down. "Goodness, it IS something," Shaoran snapped. "Show me your leg. Hurry up." Meiling reluctantly showed him the burn. "You won't be able to walk for a while," Shaoran said, sighing as he applied herbs to her legs. "And just when I have these tests, Firey had to show up." Shaoran bandaged her leg. "Kinomoto will have to stay tonight," He said, taking the herbs out of Touya's arms and legs and applying some balms. He bandaged the burns. "What was his number again?" "Hello, Kinomoto residence," A voice answered. Shaoran swallowed. He somehow felt nervous whenever that girl was around... "This is Li Shaoran, Kinomoto-san." "Ah, Li-kun," Sakura answered. "Um, your brother is staying over at our house with Tsukishiro-kun because of a practice meet tomorrow. Um, you know, since our house is closer and everything, and Meiling also has to practice for martial arts team, and..." He trailed off. "Oh, I didn't even know he went out. All right, thank you," Sakura replied. "I hope it's not too much of a trouble for you." "It's.. all right," He said. "See you tomorrow, then!" She brightly said. "Ah... good night." "Sleep well, Li-kun!" She hung up. Shaoran numbly listened to the phone. "What the hell's my problem?" He asked himself, placing the receiver down. "AWWWW!!!" Meiling tried not too laugh, but Touya's expression was too funny. "Kinomoto! Stop making that kind of face!" "But...AWW! Do you mind?!" He turned to Shaoran. Shaoran was changing his bandages. "I think you were a lot more pleasant when you were shutting your mouth," He commented, ripping off the bandages stuck to Touya's skin. "Are you...AW! trying... AW! to kill me?!!!" Cerberus shook his head, dismayed. "Cardcaptor whining like this, I"m so ashamed, not to mention you're a man, and the little girl's watching, and...." "YOU try this!" Touya snapped. "AWW!!!" "Finished," Shaoran said. "The burns will heal completely in about a week. Just don't do anything silly, will you?" "Like what?" Shaoran asked. "I collected all the cards, didn't I?" Suddenly a silence settled in the room. Shaoran and Cerberus exchanged an uneasy glance. "What is it?" Touya asked. "You... didn't write your name in Firey yet, did you?" Shaoran asked. "Oh, I forgot," Touya said. "Where is the card?" "Here. But... allow me to maintain its seal before you write your name on it," Shaoran said. "At least until your burns heal." "What the heck for?" Touya asked, confused. "Just do it!" Cerberus snapped. "You're just not up to facing Yue yet!" "Yue?" Cerberus suddenly became quiet. "Who's Yue?" Yukito asked. "Cerberus's twin," Meiling explained. "But what does he have anything to do with Touya writing his name on the card?" "I"ll tell you later," Shaoran said. "Off to school now, all of you." "I think I'll skip the soccer practice today," Touya said, looking at his shorts and T-shirts, which would reveal his burns too plainly. "I'll go talk to the coach," Yukito said. "Thanks," Touya said, closing his eyes and leaning against the locker in the changing room. He felt so tired... Touya packed up and waited for Yukito to finish packing up. "Kinomoto." Touya turned around. "What is it?" He asked, noticing Meiling. "Um... this. Shaorang Oniichan said this balm is for your burns. And..." She hesitated. "What?" Touya asked. "I... I"m really sorry for what happened yesterday! Because I was being reckless..." "Ain't your fault," Touya cut her short. "And... I"m happy that all the cards have been collected, so the disaster is prevented!" Meiling smiled, then left. "Ah...?" Touya cocked his head. Just then, when Meiling was smiling, his heart was thumping a little faster than usual... wasn't it? A week passed. "Shao~rang Onii~chan!" Meiling happily cried, waving to Shaoran. "You finished with your monitor duties?" "As soon as Kinomoto returns from submitting the monitor journal," Shaoran replied. "Li-kun!" Sakura said, entering the classroom. "Ara, Meiling-chan." "Good afternoon," Meiling coldly said. She didn't like the way Shaoran looked at Kinomoto's older sister. "K, Kinomoto... um... do you want to walk home with us?" Shaoran asked. "I mean, if, if you want to... ouch!" Meiling had pinched Shaoran. "What happend?" Sakura asked, surprised. "Oh, nothing..." Shaoran said, glaring at Meiling. "I'd love to walk home with you, but I promised with Tomoyo-chan to go eat cakes with her today," Sakura said. "Gomen ne." "Ah... daijoubu da. Mata ne." "Mata ashita!" Sakura left the classroom, Shaoran staring after her with a red face. "Really! From the way you look at her, I'd say you like her!' Meiling exploded, as they started for home. "Huh...?" Shaoran asked, surprised. "Shaoran said he'll marry me!" Shaoran laughed. "Because you wanted to play house when you were 3, and you threatened me that you'll cry," He said. "Are you saying you don't want to marry me anymore?!" Meiling cried. "Oi..." Shaoran protested, sweat dropping. "You still have more than 10 years to go before you can marry, so don't worry about it!" "But!" "Let's ask Wei if he knows another effective way of treating burns when we get home," Shaoran said. "Don't change the subject! Do you or do you not want to marry me?!" "And we can have dimsum for dinner." "Those were made for breakfast! Anyway, do you or do you...." "Oh, I think I did very well in the math test! But in Japanese, I think I missed about three questions regarding..." "Don't interrupt!" "And I'd say you need a haircut! Your hair will reach the floor pretty soon!" "I don't need a haircut! And.." They stopped as they both spotted Tomoyo and Sakura at distance, and blushed. They turned to look at each other. Then they ran for home before either Tomoyo or Sakura noticed them. "I don't get it," Shaoran said, cocking his head. "You don't like Kinomoto, but you feel warm when you see Daidouji?" "Well, because Kinomoto hits on you!" Meiling snapped. Shaoran choked back laughter. "Hitting on me? I doubt she'll even know what that word means..." He sighed. 'But I wonder why I blush everytime I see her....' "You know? There was a call from mom." "Yours or mine?" "Mine." "What did aunt say?" Meiling looked depressed. "That... I should return home as soon as the Final Judgement is over..." "How about me?" "She said you might have to be around so that Kinomoto can adjust to being the card master. Of course, if I become card mistress, you're coming home with me." Shaoran looked worried. "And what if both of you don't make it?" Meiling was silent for a moment. Then she looked up. "Then we go home. Wouldn't matter; Then we'll forget about everyone and returning home wouldn't be painful at all." Shaoran closed his eyes. "I just wish you luck." He took out the Firey Card. "Because I'm returning this to Kinomoto.... tomorrow." Touya looked up as Meilng entered the classroom. "Someone died?" He asked, noticing how depressed she looked. "Write your name on this after class," Meiling said, tossing the Firey Card to him. "Geez, from the way you guys were carrying on, you'd think this card is the most dangerous thing in the world," Touya said, stuffing the card into his bookbag. "Shaorang Oniichan placed a temporarily seal on it, and it won't break until this afternoon." Meiling said, settling down into her seat. All through the day Meiling was extremely jumpy and she seemed to be spaced out. Even though normally she was an excellent student, today she seemed to be totally out of everything. Touya discussed this with Yukito after class as they packed up. "Li seemed really weird, right?" Yukito thoughtfully said, "Perhaps something about that Firey Card." He smiled and said, "Why don't we go to the locker room? I have your new custom and video recorder in there." "YUKI...." Touya growled. "Well, it's "Touya Writes His Name On The Final Card" episode!" Yukito protested. "When you do special things, you have to dress specially!" "Yukito, is this whole custom business your idea or your mom's?" Touya asked, murderious look sparkling into his eyes. "My mom's of course!" Yukito said innocently. Few minutes later, Touya, fully dressed in black robe-like custom with Sun and Moon and Star designs, walked out of the front gate of Tomoeda Elementary. "I look like some kind of wizard," Touya moaned. "This is embarassing like crap." "You look great!" Yukito reassured him. Touya noticed Meiling and Shaoran waiting for him at the front gate. "Kinomoto.." Meiling started, looking over his custom. "Don't say anything about my custom if you don't want to die at an early age," Touya said. He sighed and took the Firey Card out. "Well, here goes nothing...." "Touya-kun!" A voice called out. Touya turned around to see Tomoyo and Sakura approaching them. "Oh crap..." Touya moaned, looking down on himself. Sakura looked at Touya, mildly puzzled. "And that custom is..?" "Oh, we're... practicing for a play!" Yukito said, sweat dropping. "T..Touya is the evil wizard who wants to rule the world!" Touya sweat dropped. "Well, I just wanted to give this ticket to Touya-kun and Yukito-kun," Tomoyo said, giving a ticket to Singing Competition to both of them. "Thank you," Touya and Yukito answered. "I gave one to Li-kun for you, Meirin-chan," Tomoyo added, turning to Meiling. Meiling brightly blushed. Touya and Meiling exchanged a brief glare while Tomoyo said, "Then I should cheer Sakura-chan on on her cheerleading practice!" Tomoyo and Sakura started to walk away. "It's good thing that my sister trusts people so easily," Touya said, furiously turning to Yukito. "What? Evil wizard?" Yukito laughed, sweating. "Geez," Touya said, writing his name on the card. Suddenly something golden decended from the sky. "Huh..." Touya said, as a large lion came down. "Touya..." The lion said. "Who the hell are you?" Touya asked. The lion collapsed. "What.. I'm Cerberus, of course!" "You?" Touya asked, staring at him in surprise. "I came here... to be with you on the Final Judgement." "Final What?" Touya asked, confused. Suddenly a piercing scream caught their attention. "Oneechan!' Touya screamed, running to where the voice came from. Touya stopped, not trusting his eyes. In front of Sakura stood... a tall, white-haired lady with huge wings. She had cold purplish-silver cat-like eyes. She looked at Touya with her chilling gaze. "Who... who are you?!" Touya asked. The lady smiled. "Yue." "Daidouji-san is?!!!" "I AM Daidouji," Yue said, laughing. "Yue? You are... Daidouji-san?" Touya repeated. He looked confused. "Who's... who's Yue?" Cerberus turned away. "My.. twin. The one paired up with me at birth to guard the Clow Cards. Touya... this is the Final Judgement...." "Huh?" "You have to beat me to prove your worthness as Master of the Clow Cards," Yue softly said. Her eyes fell onto Meiling. "I'll start off with one with less cards...." "Ah?!" Meiling felt her body floating up. In an instant, Meiling banished. "L....Li?!!!" Touya asked, looking around. "You can't help her in the Final Judgemnt," Shaoran softly said. "Let's just hope... she won't be hurt too badly." Yue turned to Meiling with a slight smile. They were on top of the school roof. "You may use all of your cards to defeat me." "Which is exactly what I'll do!" Meiling snapped. She drew out Wood. "Be as the chains of punishment! Wood!" Yue smiled coldly. The vines wrapped themselves around.. Meiling?! "What..?!" Meiling cried. "Wood belongs to the Moon." Yue said. "I control it." "Damn you..." Meiling said. She struggled in vain against the Wood. 'I can't hurt Daidouji-san. But...but...!' "THUNDER!" She screamed, releasing the thunder as she felt tears running down her cheeks. 'Forgive me, Daidouji-san...!' "...." Yue coldly stared back at her, dodging the attack. All thunder did was to give a little cut in Yue's cheek. She looked furious. Wiping the blood, she said, "If you don't get serious.... I'm ending this." Meiling felt the vine tighten. "KASHIN, HURRY AND ...COME FORTH!" Meiling choked out, as the vine was choking the breath out of her. She felt the vines loosening as a burst of fire blinded her, and hurriedly slipped out of its clutches. There was a smell of burnt hair. Yue brushed her hair back and smiled. "Is that the best you can do?" "Shoot..." Yue started to form crystals. "This is really pathetic..." She threw the crystals at Meiling. Meiling dodged them to the best of her abilities, but many of them managed to hit her, leaving her bleeding and kneeling in pain. "THUNDER!!!" This time, it hit Yue. Yue screamed in agony, dropping on her knees as thunder circled her body. Meiling felt dizzy. The air was so cold.... the blood felt so warm, and... The tears running down her cheeks blinded her... "Daidouji-san... Daidouji-san, please! Stop it! I can't fight you any more!!!" Yue lifted her up by her collar, then threw her across the top of the school building. Meiling felt her body slump down as it hit the wall with a dull thud. Darkness was swallowing her... this was so dark... dark... "Touya...." Meiling said without thinking. Yue was approaching... those cold eyes...."KYAAAA!!!!" "Ah..." Touya said, as he felt his body floating up. His eyes turned blank. "Jump.." He said, summoning the Jump Card. "Touya...!" Sakura cried, rushing forward to stop him. But he had already jumped up to the top of the school building. "Touya's turn..." Yukito softly said, looking up. Something fell down from the sky. Shaoran rushed forward and caught Meiling in his arms. "Yue... that bad tempered..." Cerberus started, growling. Shaoran placed his coat over Meiing. "Let's just hope Kinomoto has better luck then Meiling did." "A...re?" Touya snapped awake. Cold. Why is it so cold in here? "Kinomoto Touya." Touya turned around to face Yue's cold silver eyes. He involunteerely stepped back. "Daidouji-san." He felt himself saying. "I, Judge Yue, commence the "Final Judgement"." Yue said. Her smile was cold and mocking. "The first one was no fun. Let's see if you can put up a good fight." 'Daidouji-san, what the hell are you talking about?!" Touya cried. Yue had started to form crystals already. "Defeat me and I'll acknowledge you as the master as the cards." "Lock!' Touya screamed, trying to block the crystals. The crystals went right through the locked dimension. "....KYAAA!!!" Touya gave an agonizing scream as the crystals cut through his flesh. "Geez, don't tell me same thing will happen again.... Even as a wannabe master chosen by Cerberus, you're still so weak. I really don't want to bother with the "destruction" if I can help it...." "The "destruction"?" Touya repeated. "Yes. It makes everyone completely devoid of emotions." "Emotions..?" "World without anger, anxiety, sadness, happiness, and love. Won't it be an easy life?" Touya looked startled. "Then we'll all be just empty shells!" He snapped, looking furious. "Depends on how you look at it," Yue said. "If your emotions pain you, it's best if you are devoid of it." "No it's not! Even if your emotions pain you, life sucks if you don't FEEL anything! For crying out loud, which b@$t@rd came up with this idea?!" "Clow." Yue smiled. "Clow Cards care most about the one who captured them. If you fail... I'll have to take them away from you. They will die of heartache and become useless, odinary cards. So Clow made the "destruction" to protect the cards." "That's retarded!" "DON"T INSULT CLOW IN FRONT OF ME!" Yue snapped. "Daidouji-san..." Touya said, surprised. "Let's continue with the judgement!" Touya stepped back as Yue approached. "W...Windy!" The wind came out and engulfed Touya. "Ah?!" The wind was choking him... can't breath... scary... scary, scary, scary! "STOP IT!!!" He screamed without thinking. Windy returned to her card state. "Fly!" He screamed. He sprouted bat-like wings and flew off, trying to earn himself some time. However, Yue flew straight towards him and slammed him against the roof of the school. Touya struggled to stand up, but Yue smacked him on the chin and he went flying off. He landed on his face. "Argh..." He weakly stood up, as blood poured down his face. "Stupid nose blood..." He muttered, hesitantly wiping the blood away from his face. Yue flew towards him again. "DIE!" She screamed, as ice crystals flew towards him. "AAAAHHH!!!" He screamed, as they cut through his skin. One penerated through his chest. Blood. So much blood. "Firey!" Touya cried without thinking. Firey eagerly flew off to encounter Yue. "Ah... DAME!" Touya screamed as Firey engulfed Yue in burst of flames. "Dame da! Firey!" Abruptly Yue slapped Firey and he descended back to Earth with a thud. He got absorbed back into his card state. Yue emerged from the smoke, murderous look on her eyes. "Why you..." She struggled, and landed on her knees. "Daidouji-san!" Touya cried, rushing forth to help her up. She lifted him up by his collar. "I'll never accept the likes of you! A mere child like you, being my master?! What a joke!" She started to choke him. Touya furiously kicked the air, trying to get free. Black. Everything was going black. 'I don't want this! Stop it! Stop it! Stop it!!!' His brain screamed. He felt himself being weakened. Death. He'll die at this rate. Dying is scary. And he never told her how he felt. How he really felt... "ORE WA DAIDOUJI-SAN GA SUKI!!!" He screamed. Yue dropped him in surprise. "You what?" "I don't to fight you. Daidouji-san... I like you! You're the one who's most important to me! I won't hurt you!" Touya felt tears falling rapidly down his cheeks. "Don't give me that load of shit!" Yue screamed, slamming his head against the cement floor. More blood. Now it's coming from his throat, too. That's not good. That's not good at all. "The only one I care about is Clow! I won't accept anyone else!!!" Yue screamed. "But you'll have to accept me if I beat you, right?" Touya asked, smiling. He wiped the blood away from his chin. "I won't let you commence with the destruction." "I won't let you win." Short silence followed as they stared at each other. "WATERY!" Touya screamed as Yue threw crystals at him at the same time. The attacks met head-on and crashed with each other. However, as soon as the mist cleared, Yue was aiming an arrow straight to Touya's heart. She released the arrow. Touya ducked... too late. "Ah..." Touya said, as he felt something going through his stomach. Blood. More blood. Everything was going black again. Too much blood. Darkness. Bitter smell and warmth of his blood. Pitch darkness. "I cause the destruction to occur." A clear voice cut through his heart. "You... can't..." He choked out. "I... won't..." He dropped to his knees. "I... I..." "He's dying." Shaoran said, looking up to the roof. Meiling knew Touya's energy was steadly decreasing, but this was unexpected. And shocking. "...What?!" She choked out. "I"m going up to get him away from Yue." "Tomoyo.... is killing Touya?" Sakura asked in a trembling voice. "Yue. It's not Daidouji. Daidouji is merely a disguised form." Shaoran said. "I got to stop her from killing her.""I'm going with you!" Cerberus said. He lowered himself. "Here, ride on me. It'll be a lot faster that way." "Is that okay?" Shaoran uncertainly asked. "Hurry up." Cerberus growled. Shaoran climbed up on Cerberus and Cerberus flew off. Sakura held Meiling's hand. Meiling was trembling. "It's okay." Sakura said, turning to Meiling. "Touya will be fine." Meiling weakly smiled. "Yes, he'll... be fine... he..." She broke down and started to cry. Sakura kneeled down and held Meiling in her arms. "I was so mean to him! What if he dies?! What am I going to do?!" Sakura did not reply. "Touya-kun." Yukito closed his eyes. Touya was the first one to talk to him ever since he moved here. Even though he was unusually pale and weak, Touya didn't think of him as a freak. Touya was always sweet and kind. Touya was the only friend that he had... "I won't let you die." He raised his hands to the heavens. "I won't." "Tsuki..shiro?" Meiling asked. Pure energy erupted from his hands, piercing the night sky. "Tsukishiro?!" "Yue!!! Stop it!' Cerberus cried, as he flew towards Yue. "Die." Yue coldy said, throwing an ice crystal. "What the... what's your problem?!" Cerberus screamed, dodging the crystal. "You betrayed Clow! I detest you!" Yue screamed. Cerberus looked startled. "I...." "SHUT UP!" Yue threw an ice crystal at him again. Cerberus tried to dodge it, but he was too late. It hit his shoulder blade. "...damn..." Cerberus groaned. "Brat, jump off! Now!" Shaoran jumped off as Cerberus crashed back to the ground. Cerberus landed on the ground with a heavy thud and did not open his eyes. "Cerberus...." Meiling said, horrified. "She.... she killed her brother?!" "He's still alive." Yukito calmly said. "Just give him some air." "AHHHH!!!" Shaoran screamed as the barrier generated electricity, shocking him to his bones. "What the crap... is... this?" "No one is allowed to interfere with the judgement. You should know that..." Yue said, looking up from Touya. Touya was huddled into a small ball, his wings badly broken and puddle of blood darkening the floor beneath him. "KILLING the master-to-be isn't part of the contract!" Shaoran snapped. "It's because Yue-san loves Clow-san too much." Touya said. "Huh?" Both Yue and Shaoran turned to Touya. Touya looked up with a small smile. "I know I'll never be good enough master for you, Yue-san, but... but... but you really shouldn't hurt others!" Yue briskly started to walk over to him. "Even if you don't want me for your master... please don't make the chaos happen... then this world will be too sad. And Yue-san will also forget about Clow-san.... you don't want that!" "Yes I do." Yue started to choke Touya. Her fingers dug into his small throat. "You have no idea... how painful it was, to be sealed up like that for hundreds of years... knowing I left him all alone to die by himself, that I was powerless to save him...." Touya didn't try to break free from the grasp. The child was becoming colder and stiffer. Yue had no idea what the hell she was doing. Why? Why was she killing this child? Because he reminded her of Clow too much. Because he hurted her. Brought back painful memories. She lost her grip and started to cry. Why? Why did you die on me like that, Clow? You were the most powerful magician. Why?! Burst of light broke through the seal, temporarily blinding the three. Touya's body was bathed by the light, and he felt his strength being restored almost immediately.... "WINDY!" He cried without thinking. His bat wings straightened and a burst of wind came from his staff, wrapping Yue up. "Ah....?" Yue tried to break free, but the wind trapped her in a bubble of current and she stared at Touya, confused. Touya was just as confused. But he was somehow confident. Confident that he can convince Yue to... "Yue-san." Touya stretched out his hands towards Yue. "It's okay if you never accept me as your master. Just let me ease your pain. Please let me be your friend, so that you can tell me all about the one whom you loved. Because that'll make you feel better..." Touya brightly smiled. "And I want to make Yue-san and Daidouji-san happy..." "I almost killed you." Yue coldly said. "I assume something is wrong with your brain." "Probably. I won't be surprised, after how much blood I lost and how many times I slammed my head against the hard surface." Touya said, laughing. "But.... it's okay, isn't it? It's okay if I become your "friend" instead of thing they call "master"..." Yue suddenly stood up. Windy failed to beat her strength, and turned back into a card. She came up to Touya. Then she placed her hand on his head. "Judgement complete. I acknowledge Kinomoto Touya as... the new master of the Clow Cards." Touya flew down to the ground below, while Shaoran and Yue watched him. "I suppose you'll remain as Daidouji most of the time," Shaoran said. "Ah." Yue replied. "He's a great kid, isn't he?" "Ha." Yue scoffed. "He's not bad for a boy." Shaoran smiled. "He must please you a lot for you to say that." Yue turned away, slightly blushing. "I see why Meiling was attracted to Daidouji now. Her magic concentrates too much on the Moon." "But she'll figure out her true feelings soon enough." Shaoran smiled. "Yes..." "And you will, too." "Huh?" Shaoran turned to Yue with a smile. "Figure out the rest yourself." Yue flew down to where others were. "Hey, wait, Yue... what...." Shaoran jumped down after her, looking confused. "Touya-kun." Yukito said, looking up as a figure rapidly flew down from the sky. "Touya..." "Meiling! Yuki! I... I was accepted by Yue!" Touya said, landing in front of her with a bright smile. "Now the destruction won't occur...." Without words, Meiling reaches out to him and drew him towards her. Touya felt his shoulder getting wet with her tears. "Meiling, wha...?" "Thank goodess..." Meiling choked out. "Really... this is great..." "I'm glad you didn't die." Yukito said, smiling. Touya started to laugh. "Ain't that easy to kill me." "I thought Touya-kun will die... Shaoran Oniichan said... and...." Touya hugged Meiling. "Thank you for worrying about me... but really, everything turned out okay, right?" Meiling smiled. "That's true... " "But I wonder since when you guys started to call each other by his/her first name." Yukito said, a sly smile spreading over his face. "Ah...." Touya and Meiling stared at each other. Then they broke off from their hug, blushing. "I got it all on tape, so don't worry." Yukito said, proudly pointing to his video camera. Touya collapses while Meiling developed a sweat drop. "Hoeeee..." Touya moaned. He turned around. "Where is... where is Cerberus?" "Here," A small voice said. Touya looked down to find a dirty yellow stuffed toy. "Cerberus.. you became small again." Touya said, picking him up. "Shuddup, it's...." Cerberus stopped. Touya had just given him a hug. "...you sick?" He asked, his dot eyes becoming as big as they possibly can be. "Yes, hugging you makes me feel all nasty." Touya teased. Cerberus and Touya smiled at each other. Then Touya stuffed Cerberus in his pocket. "...TOUYA YOU #@)$(%)!!!" With burst of wings, Yue landed on the ground and transformed back into Tomoyo. Shaoran landed after her. "Sakura...." He said, walking over to her. Sakura was hiding in the shades, her hands covering her face. "It's all over now." He said, placing his hands on her shoulder. "Yeah! Thank you for helping my brother out!" Sakura said, looking up with a bright smile. "You can cry." Shaoran said. Sakura looked surprised. Tears started to fill her eyes. Ever since her mother died, Sakura hid her emotions. Crying never accomplishes anything. And she had to take care of Touya. But... but.... all this time she wanted to cry, to be comforted, to be childish again. And... Shaoran handed her a handkerchief. Tomoyo silently placed her arms around her best friend. She wasn't sure what had happened, but she somehow did not want to face the truth. Not yet, anyway. She closed her eyes. Something hurted. Her heart. It pained her heart to see Sakura looking at Li-kun like that. But if Sakura can be happy... 'I"m glad you found your most precious person, Sakura-chan....' Touya turned to his older sister. "I"m sorry to make you worry so much." Sakura looked up, her eyes full of tears. "Touya...chan..." Touya ran over to her and threw his arms around her waist. "Tadaima!" He cried. Sakura smiled. "....okaeri." <The End> |
