Er, interesting profile, huh?  As you  can see, he's...really weird.  His magic is so strong that he lived all by himself except Cerberus and Yue.  I still can't figure out why in the world he made the Clow Cards.  And why did he made Yue the way he was if he didn't want Sakura to suffer? Geez, Yue was bouncing Sakura around like some kind of volleyball in the anime version of final judgement.  He's nice, but he's a very strange person.   His profile doesn't tell us much either, does it.... I bet CLAMP was sorta like, "Geez, so much profiles... oh well, screw him...." ^_~ He has Chinese mother and English father, so his magic is a mixture of Oriental and European magic.  He died all alone, after locking Cerberus and Yue within the Clow Book.  In anime, that's it... he just gets reborn as Eriol after couple of hundred of years.  In manga, he splits himself into two(J-chan calls it "asexual reproduction... LOL...)  in an attempt to get rid of some of his magic so that he won't be so lonely in the next life, but he fails... but he knew that Sakura will help him.... Wing's thoughts on Clow's name: Reed is a plant, here we observe the continuation of the "nature" theme... ^_^;;  Reed look weak and unattractive, but it's very strong and it grows easily anywhere.  Reed can also be used to make baskets and stuff, so it's very useful.  "Crow" is also a black bird.  It's known as the "evil bird" and it's sorta cast out of society, but did you know crow is one of the most filial birds? Crow is actually a very gentle bird, despite the fact that it eats carcasses and stuff like that occasionally.  So Clow is sort of like that... Kind of like "reject" of the society, but if you get to know him, he's cool. ^_^ "Kurou" also means "black".   Oh, there's this guy named "Mr. Reed" in Jane Eyre.  He's this nice dead guy, and he left his cousin to the care of his wife and children.  Sort of like leaving Sakura to Eriol... ^_^;; Sara-sama's thoughts: His name is not European, yet there is no kanji equivalent.  Just katakana.  So it's like he doesn't really belong anywhere, and thus he was alone.  And for Reed, it can also be spelt as Read, and even though Clow had super strong magic, had to konw a lot to control it and make his own magic.
