| Can this get worse? MOCHIRON! Our wonderful dubbers managed to completely trash every singe relationsihp that happens to exist in CCS. Why? We don't know. We don't care. What we do know and what we do care about is that this has happened, it's bad, and we need to beg pioneer to come up with the DVDs ASAP. Sakura and Tomoyo: Sakura and Tomoyo are distant cousins. Tomoyo had a crush on Sakura from the beginning of the series. She would always video tape Sakura and view and edit the tapes at her leisure. She enjoys making custom of Sakura and she is always willing to help Sakura with whatever she could. Sakura really loved Tomoyo too, as Tomoyo was her best friend and she was the only one who knew about her being a cardcaptor who didn't have any magic(oh well, before Meiling came along.). One of the sweetest phrase I ever heard were uttered by our sweet Tomoyo-chan: I don't mind if the person whom I love does not love me back. As long as that person can be the happiest, that would make me happy, too. Throw in Nelvana power to that, we've got SaKOOra and Madison. Wonderful. SakOOra hangs around with Madision 'cause she seems to have nothing else better to do. And why does Madison always dress her up in "bizzare customs" and "cyber rose colored, top fashioned" clothes? We don't know. Maybe she's some kinda stalker. Anyway, Madison video tapes Sakoora so that she can place the pictures on her web site. Beautiful, advertising the fact that SakOOra is a cardcaptor. THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A SECRET, HELLO~!!! Madison loves to be supportive of SakOOra by gossiping with her about rather driving some kind of game thingie than to see Li. She has a *wonderful* voice, too. I bet she would sing wonderfully. *shudders* Sakura and Shaoran: Shaoran was rather cold to Sakura at first. He was so obsessed with becoming strong and proving that he's worthy to carry on the Li family tradition that he viewed Sakura as nothing but an object blocking his path. He has four *rather* outgoing sisters and a demanding, stern mother. He feels lonely, and he covers up this emptiness by hiding his feelings. However, her charm gradually starts to take its effect on this poor boy, and he falls in love with her at the end. He opens up his heart and allows her to fill in the love that he had lacked so much. He continuously blushes around her, and he acts like a confused little puppy when she even smiles at him. Kawaii. Li and SaKOOra hate each other. We don't know why he's occasionally blushing, but from his dialogue and her smart dialogue back to him, we can infer that they detest and loathe each other. Too bad the animation was too beautiful. As the series continue on, things get better for poor Sakura and Shaoran relationship. Li now shows that he does like SaKOORa, but we still don't know why because she's acting like she's an all-mighty-cardcaptor. Oh well. Touya and Yukito: Touya and Yukito deeply care for each other. There's no other word for it; they're in love. Touya often touches Yukito and feeds him stuff and show other signs of affection. That's a big deal for Touya, who doesn't believe in showing his emotions. ^_^ Yukito, lost and all alone and somehow different from all other humans, gets friendship and love he never had from Touya. They would do anything for each other. They're willing to even give up something that is most percious to them. Tori and Julian hang around often. Yeah, they're cool, they're friends. It's all cool. By the way, will Tori care if Julian drops down dead in front of him? I doubt it. Sakura and Yukito: Sakura had a deep crush on Yukito. She often went into a "hanyaan" mode when he's around. How cute~ but Sakura-chan! You have your Shaoran-kun! See the truth! ^_~ SaKOOra....I dunno, in the Nelvana website it SAYS SaKOORa has a crush on Julian, but how come I don't see that anywhere. Shaoran and Yukito: Shaoran had crush on Yukito for quite a while. But later he realizes his true feelings. ^_~ This was another major reason why Touya had a deep dislike for Shaoran-- dude, the little punk is tryin' to steal Yukito from me! ^.^ And now he's tryin' to steal SAKURA?! *cough sister complex cough* Li....seem to be afraid of Julian. Julian offered him some food, and he ran off, thinking it was poisoned or something. Poor guy. I'd think Julian would poison foods, too. He sounds mad dorky. Shaoran and Meiling: Shaoran and Meiling happened to be cousins and also engaged. No wonder Meiling dislikes Kinomoto so much at first. But Sakura's sweetness even wins over Meiling, and she gracefully hands Shaoran over to her. Meiling is awfully lonely. She's the only one in the family without magic. Of course she's possessive over her only friend and fiancee. But she's also extremely sweet and caring. She would do anything to help her friends. Even if she endangers her life. Li and Meilin are next door neighbors, and Meilin just kinda felt like acting like a b-word to SaKOOra. I dunno why. But considering how annoying SaKOOra is, Meilin does have a right to hate her. Oh well, but she's really bratty, too. Which pot's callling the kattle black. Fujitaka and Nadeshiko: Sakura's parents had a really romantic little story behind them. Nadeshiko, the only daughter of a rich man, decided to marry Fujitaka, a newbie teacher who doesn't even have any relatives. (Tradition is very important in Japan. No family? Hm, that's bad.) She married him at the age of 16, and worked as model to support her family. She died at an early age, but she loved Fujitaka until the day she died and Fujitaka still loves her deeply. He never forgets to change her picture everyday. Natasha....she appeared once. And while most people were going like, "Huh? Whozat ghost lady thingie?" she told SaKOOra in her unbeautiful voice that she'll be okay. Wow, since when did Natasha appear in the show? Nadeshiko and Sonomi: Nadeshiko and Sonomi are cousins. Sonomi had crush on Nadeshiko, and she never forgave Fujitaka for marrying her "angel-like super cute" Nadeshiko. But she has a really tender heart, and she often supplies the link for Sakura to her mother's side of family. Sonomi's gone... that's good, we don't have to witness her being called "Sara" or something. Rika and Terada: In manga, Rika and Terada were having pretty serious relationship, like Nadeshiko and Fujitaka. In anime, Rika has a sweet crush on her teacher. Really cute. Rita's afraid of Torada. Hm, I *wonder* why. Chiharu and Takashi: Chiharu and Takashi had been going out since they were in kindergarten. They're very comical and cute couple. Takashi, you have some skill to maintain your relationship with Chiharu that long, with you annoying her with your stories every other minutes. ^_~ Chelsea and Zachary are cousins.... Why? We don't know.... And as every other side chara is in CC, who CARES about minor characters. What's improtant is Cardcaptors, the captors of the Claw Cards. Nice. Sakura and Kero: Sakura and Kero undoubtfully care deeply for each other. Even though they had their querrels and stuff, they always came back to each other and they always cared for each other. Sakura never forgot to bring back some dessert for her Kero-chan who has the crazy sweet tooth, and she even emptied out her drawer to make little private room for Kero. She affectionately calls her Cerberus "Kero-chan". When Sakura's at least a bit sick or worried, Kero tries his best cheering her up. Kero doesn't hesistate to complain and act childish to Sakura, but he doesnt' hesitate to take care of her when she's sick and cheer her up when she's down, either. Kero-chan is a pet you definately want. SaKOOra and KIro undoubtfully hate each other. KIro does not hesitate to diss SaKOOra, and SaKOORa does not hesitate to whine, "But KIIIIIIROOOO," either. Wonderful duo. A whiny 13-years-old-sounding-10-years-old-air head and some old mentor guy who's even stupider then the girl he's mentoring. Thank you, Nelvana. You know we love you. Sakura and Touya: Sakura and Touya really love each other. Touya is rather awkward in showing his love for his little sister, but she was the only thing left to him after his mother's death and he dearly cares for her. He always calls her kaijyuu, but he doesn't even ride the motorcycle he worked hard to buy just because it would be dangerous for Sakura to follow him. He helps her without asking if she seems to need something(like getting Yukito to their home.) His love for her is so intense that Yukito calls it "sister complex" (Oh no, I think I have one of those , too. ^_^) SaKOOra and Tori really dislike each other. SaKOOra acts incredibly vicious towards Tori and she likes to throw stuff at him and yell at him. Tori is good at hating his sister and good at showing it, too. Like, wuz up, Squirt? Sakura and Fujitaka: Sakura really really loves her father. She often hugs him and tell him that he's the greatest father ever. Fujitaka dearly loves his little girl, too(who wouldn't? How can you not love Sakura-chan? >.<). Sakura does her chores without complaint and is always willing to be supportive of her father. Does SaKOOra know her father exists? She does? Oh, I was just wondering. Mizuki and Touya: Mizuki and Touya were going out for a while. Not a serious love, but Touya was crushed when she dumped him. Does Mackenzie even know SaKOOra has an older brother? Nakuru and Touya: Nakuru continuously interrupts the relationship between Touya and Yukito. Her trademark... "Touya-kun~~~!!!" is the most kawaii way of calling Touya I've ever heard. He is not exremtly interested in Touya. He just needs something from him. And enter Ruby. Even though it's a SHE, it just happens that her voice is so much more masculine and older-sounding than Nakuru-kun's. She hangs around Tori, but I really don't know why. Maybe just to annoy the hell outta him? Why is the dub so EVIL?! Can I get outta here now...I feel sorta sick.... |
