| Episode 7: Sakura no Kaitou Hatsu Chousen?! It was night. In a quiet museum, a guard was looking around the building, making sure no one is there. <Titlescreen: Sakura's First Attempt At Being Bandit?!> Sakura was drawing Kero. Kero complained that his patience was about to snap. Sakura showed the drawing to Kero. It was an adorable teddy-bear like picture with round nose. "That goofy thing ain't me!" Kero complained. "I think it's pretty close," Sakura replied, looking at the picture. "No! Look more closely!" Kero said, making a "cool" face. "Don't you think my blow brings out my eyes? Or maybe your picture should be more smooth..." "Sakura-san!" Fujitaka called. "Oi! Listen to me when I talk!" Kero yelled. "Later, okay?" Sakura replied, running out of the room. "KEEE!!!" Kero said, bristling up. He went over to look at the picture again. "This is really me...?" He frowned, a determined tone creeping into his voice. "I can't allow it!" It was omelette rice for dinner. Fujitaka asked her what she was doing. "Drawing practice. We're visiting museum tomorrow!" Sakura answered. "But you were awfullly noisy by yourself in there," Touya commented. "Because I can't draw when I don't talk," Sakura replied. "If you're so noisy in the museum, they'll kick you out," Touya said. "No they won't!" Sakura cried, panicking. She turned to her father. "Please don't disrupt people who came to see the artworks," Fujitaka said. "Will they kick me out?" Sakura asked. "No, but..." An elderly gentleman was saying, "I will lead you guys. You can stay in this room or move out to the courtyard. People who wishes to come to the couryard, please come with me." "Shall we go?' Sakura asked Tomoyo. "I think I"ll stay here and draw that sculpture," Tomoyo said. "Would you prefer to go out to the courtyard?" "It's all right," Sakura answered. She opened her sketchbook. "AHHH!!!" Terada rushed over, angrily making motions for her to be quiet. "I'm sorry...." Sakura said. She looked down on the picture of Kero, which was made into devil-like with red crayons. "Look, I"m more like this," A clumsy writing across the picture stated. "That Kero-chan....!" Sakura angrily muttered. "I think I"m finished!" Sakura said, looking at a pretty good sketch of the scuplture. "How about you?" She glanced at Tomoyo, who had drawn its exact likeness and was applying oil paint to the drawing. "Wow...." She glanced outside. "Shall we move out?" "I wish to finish my drawing," Tomoyo replied. "Well, then I"ll be right back," Sakura said, taking her sketchbook and heading out to the courtyard. "How do I get out there?" Suddenly there was a commotion. A little boy was trying to touch a painting with scraping knife. "Why are you trying to damage the painting?!" The guard scolded. "I'm not! That drawing is made by my papa, and someone changed it!" The boy protested. Suddenly, the lady in the picture placed her finger against her lips. Everything became bright and silent for few seconds. The guard took the boy away. Sakura read the title of the painting. "'Smile', by Tenkai Tachbane". She picked up a name tag that the boy had dropped. "Yuuki Tachbane". "A picture changed?" Tomoyo asked. "Only for an instant, but... Do you think it's that?!" "That?" Tomoyo replied. "Something with grudge beyond death! I'm sure the painting is cursed and..!" "Was it scary?" "No, not at the time..." Sakura replied. "Sakura is sensitive to ghosts, isn't she? Which means this can be...." "A Clow Card?!" Sakura said, looking startled. "Then shall we check later?" Tomoyo asked. "Yeah!" Sakura replied. They crossed the street. Sakura was climbing out of her room using the tree next to her window. "Sakura-chan," A voice said. Sakura looked down in panick. "Good evening," Yukito said. "Yukito-san..." "What happened? It's late," Yukito asked. "Oh, urm, that's.... oh, I wanted to see the Moon!" Sakura blurted out. She anxiously watched Yukito. He smiled. "There are lots of starts out, too. Is Touya home?" "Yes," Sakura replied, jumping down from the tree. "Um, about Oniichan..." "Sakura-chan is asleep upstairs in her room, and I can't see her tonight," Yukito said, smiling. "But please don't stay out too late." "Yes!" Sakura replied. Sakura was skating to the museum. She started to smile, then sighed. Then smiled again. "Goin' from depression to happiness, what a busy person ya are," Kero commented. "I wonder if Yukito-san thought I was rude.... but, but! He was looking out for me! But.... but!" "How idiotic," Kero commented. "Silent, that means no sound, right?" Tomoyo asked. "Yeah. It hates loud things," Kero answered. "That's why it chose a quiet museum to stay in!" "What is silent's powers?" Sakura asked. "It only made everything silent back in the museum, but..." "That's not its only powers," Kero said. "At the same time that it becomes noisy, it..." "It?" Sakura prompted. "I really don't know!" Sakura collapsed. "You sure you're the guardian beast?!" "Well, it doesn't talk much!" Kero replied. Tomoyo broke them up. "Sakura-chan, then shall we change?" "Yatbari...." Sakura sighed. Sakura looked down on her bat-like custom. "This seems more restrained than normal," Sakura commented. "Because a kaitou(bandit) must not stand out!" Tomoyo happily said. "Kaitou?! But I"m not stealing anything..." "But you're snicking into heavily guarded museum! We have to be inconspicuous!" "What's that?" Sakura asked, watching Tomoyo taking out a piece of paper. "I'ts the guards' schedule," Tomoyo answered. "In an hour, a guard is supposed to come to the painting of problem. There isn't that much time. I'll set the alarm clock so that it'll go off five minutes earlier." Sakura nodded. "Mission start." They were walking through the museum. They noticed someone else snicking around. "I wonder what they're doing," Tomoyo wondered. "It looks suspicious," Sakura added. "We're pretty suspicious ourselves," Kero said. "Do you think they're here to steal works of art?!" Sakura asked. "Oh, I have an idea," Tomoyo said. "What is it?" "This," Tomoyo said, showing her her flashlight. <CM Break-- Sakura Card!> A eerie voice rung in the museum. "Who are you...?" "Who is it?! Hurry and get out!" The person cried out. "It sounds like a child," Sakura said. "Listen to me.... I'm the protective god of the artworks." Kero continued in his eerie voice. The flashlight made his shadow seem enormous. "Protective god? You're the one who's defacing the pictures, aren't you!" The child cried. The hands that held out paint scraper shook as he approached them. "He's coming over! This was not expected!" Tomoyo whispered. The child approached them. "Kyauu!" Kero cried, leaping out at him. He stumbled backwards, bumping into an artwork. Kero managed to grab it before it broke. "It's a child after all," Tomoyo said. "Ah, this kid," Sakura said, recognizing him. "Do you know him?" "I saw him this morning." "Hurry and help me!" Kero cried, going down with weight of the vase. He woke up. Noticing Kero, he backed off. "It was just ventriloquism," Sakura said. "You guys are criminals aren't you!" The boy said, eyeing them suspiciously. "We're wonderful kaitous!" "Kaitou?!" The boy repeated. "No, we just forgot something," Sakura hurriedly said. "Then how about that weird cloth?" He asked, pointing at Sakura's custom. "Oh... this is..." Sakura stammered. "Our hobby." Tomoyo chimed in. "I"m in a hurry, so if you guys are not mutating artworks, I gotta go," He said, leaving them. "Ah, wait, Yuuki-kun!" He turned around, surprised. "You kow my name?" Sakura showed him the name tag. "Oh... I see." "I"m trying to return the painting to its original form. It was done by my papa, Tankai tachbane." "I know of him. He created many wonderful works," Tomoyo said. "But last year, didn't he...." Yuuki dropped his glance. "Last autumn, he got really sick and died. Last summer, in what would be our last family-trip, father had painted that picture. It was to be our favorite memory of the ocean. It was mama's favorite painting, too. But... someone drew on top of it! On my memory with papa!" Yuuki clenched his fists. "How terrible. I know how you feel! When someone drew over my drawing, I was really angry!" She threw an acidic glance at Kero perched on her shoulder. Kero looked guilty. "Shall we help?" Sakura asked. "I don't need your help," Yuuki said. "What, you unappreciating brat! And we took our time...!" Kero's mouth was quickly shut. "Huh?" Yuuki asked, turning. "Ventriloquism..." Sakura replied. "Do whatever you want. Just don't get in my way," Yuuki said. leaving. Tomoyo urgently whispered, "That took more time than expected. We'll have to hurry." "But I can't use magic in front of Yuuki-kun," Sakura said. "I"ll talk to him and distract him, so you go ahead," Tomoyo said. "Okay," Sakura replied. "It's this one." Yuuki said, pointing to the picture of the lady. "This is definately Silent!" Kero whispered. "This is made out of oil paint, so it should come off if I work carefully," Yuuki said. "You know a lot about painting," Tomoyo said. "Because I want to be a painter like papa," Yuuki replied. "I'm sure you can be one," Sakura said. Yuuki looked flatteered. "But Yuuki-kun, handling oil paint if difficult. Why don't you leave it to the museum people?" "I can't trust them! I"ll do it myself," Yuuki told Tomoyo. Sakura backed off, getting ready to seal it. "If you talk too loud, the guard will come," Tomoyo said. Suddenly there was a flash, and they found themselves in.... the courtyard. "Huh?" "Coutyard?" Yuuki looked around. "It happens everytime. Everytime I get close to that painting, I'm outside." "Outside, huh?" Tomoyo asked. 'Can you believe it?! I bet it's a kaijyuu." "Kaijyuu?" Sakuar repeated. "Yuuki-kun, it may be because you were too loud. It may not do anything when we're quiet," Sakura said. "Quiet?" Yuuki asked. "We can get in from there. Let's go." Kero whispered, "If you have to use magic, you can just blame it on the monster." Yuuki accidentally dropped one of his art material. Sakura said in disbelief, "Can't be..." Tomoyo asked, "Because of just that...?" They were outside once again. They entered once more, but Kero sneezed. Sakura pretended that she had sneezed. They watched the painting with anxious glance. It placed its finger against its lips, and the dismayed children found themselves outside again. "Damn it!" Yuuki furiously said. "That was just a sneeze," Tomoyo said. "That means I can't recite the spell," Sakura added. The alarm went off. "The guard will be here soon!" Tomoyo said. Yuuki entered the museum. "Who's there!" The guard asked. "Don't run! Wait!" He chased after Yuuki. Yuuki got caught, and as he tried to break free, Sakuar noticed their shadow. "That's it! Shadow, project me through the glass. Shadow!" She released the Shadow. Her shadow freed Yuuki. Yuuki ran off. Sakura tried to reach the painting, but discovered the light was too small. "Here," Tomoyo said, flashin her flashlight." "Thank you," Sakura said. "Return to the form in which thou should be in! Clow Card!" She sealed it. Her shadow brought the card back. Sakura made a V-mark, smiling. "So today's mission was a big success," Tomoyo said. "Yup!" Sakura happily said. "Where is he hiding?! Geez," The guard muttered, looking around. He looked at the paiting. "This is!" He ran away, screaming, "This is terrible! The painting has changed!" "That was no good, I couldn't change the painting," Yuuki said, approaching the two in the coutyard. "No, look," Sakura said, pointing at the painting. Yuuki, looking first startled then happily, rushed forward. His cap dropped from his head, revealing a long, shiny brown hair. "It's back to normal..." She happily said. "So you were a girl," Sakura said. "I'm sorry for calling you Yuuki-kun, Yuuki-chan." "The long hair is very cute, isn't it?" Tomoyo asked. Sakura nodded. "Thank you, Oneechan! Both of you, thank you! Bye bye!" Yuuki said, waving and running off. "He tried his best for his father, didn't he. Yuuki-kun... I mean Yuuki-chan." "Pretty touching, huh? The heart of a child thinking about her father."Kero added. Sakura cried, "That was pretty cool Kero-chan!" "Pretty smooth," Tomoyo added. "Then the mission is complete!" "Because Kero-chan reminded me of shadow! (Kage)" Sakura happily said. "Because of me!(Okage)" Kero added. A boy was standing on top of the museum, his short rufled brown hair visible through a hat he was waiting. He looked down on a strange board with Chinese characters on it. His face in shadow, he quietly said, "It's the aura of a Clow Card." <Kero-chan ni Omakase!> Konyanyachiwa! Everyone's watching every week? So it seems, Kero-chan check information has finally came!
