Episode 10: Sakura to Hana no Undonkai
    Children were running.  'Today, it's Tomoeda's athletic meet.  Some kids hate it because it's a pain.  I just love it!' Sakura came in the first place.
<Title Screen: Sakura and the Flowrly Athletic Meet>
     Sakura-chan is really fast," Rika said.  "Thank you, Rika-chan," Sakura replied.  Someone clapped.  Sakura turned around.  "Yukito-san!" "You're really fast," Yukito said, smiling.  "'Cause she has no other merits, that's why," Touya unnecersarilly added.  Sakura punished him with a kick in the leg.  Touya made a painful expression while Sakura cheerfully turned back to Yukito.  "That's lunch? It's huge!" "I made it with Touya," Yukito replied.  "Father's gonna be here after the seminar's over," Touya said.  "Well, he has to work, so there's no helping it," Sakura replied.  'My father is not only an archeology teacher, but he goes to excavations and gives seminar on his researches as well. He's super busy!' "There's a 100 meter race for the parents in the afternoon.  I hope he can make it," Yukito said.  "Yeah!" Sakura said.  "Cheerleaders, please gather to the entrance grounds," A voiced.  "Ah, Tomoyo-chan no koeda!" Sakura said, looking up.  "I will repeat.  Cheerleaders, please...." "Do you have to go, too?" Yukito asked Sakura.  "Yes," Sakura replied.  "I'll take lots of pictures," He said.  Sakura pulled Touya down and whispered, "You got to take some pictures of Yukito-san later, too! Make sure to do so!" "Yeah, yeah," Touya said.
     "That 4th grader Kinomoto was really fast!" A boy said.  "No one was able to beat her," Another boy said.  "Not only is Sakura-chan fast, but she's absolutely kawaii!" Tomoyo said, popping out of no where.  "Tomoyo-chan!" Sakura said, running up to her with her cheerleaders' uniform on.  "Sakura-chan.  Is that the uniform for the cheerleaders?" "Yes," Sakura replied.  "How wonderful! But if only if I can add some frills at the back and a huge ribbon...." Sakura sweat-dropped.  "Is your mother coming?" "Later, because a company meeting is holding her up," Tomoyo replied. 'Tomoyo's mother owns a big toy company.  She's very busy, so I understand that many days, she can't see Tomoyo.  I haven't seen her yet, so I'm looking forward to making her acquaintance!' Sakura glanced at Tomoyo.  'Come to think of it, I never heard about her father....'  "I have to go.  Please watch me!" Sakura said, leaving.  "I'll be cheering for you right here!" Tomoyo replied.  "She really is cute!" The boy from before said.  "Yeah," the other boy agreed.  "All right!" Tomoyo said.  "My preparations are OK!" She held up a video camera.  The boys collapsed.
    Various shots of Sakura doing cheerleaders' movements are shown.  Sakura swirled the baton, then jumped over another girl, throwing and catching the baton at the same time.     "Sakura-chan is really good," Yukito said.  "Compared with before," Touya said.  "Huh?" "When she first got in, she'll always throw her baton and receive it with her head everytime." Sakura threw her baton again and retrieved it with her head.  "See." Touya said.
     "Next is the last morning event.  It's 4th graders' obstacle competiion.  The competitors will go through various barriers.  Please cheer for them!" An announcer said.  Sakura stood on line.  "Sakura-chan, go for it!" Tomoyo cheered.  "Sakura-chan, do your best!" Other girls cheered.  She looked around and noticed Shaoran.  "Ah?" Shaoran saw her too, and turned his head around, looking displeased. "Hmph." Sakura sweated.  "Hey! Good luck!" Yukito cried.  "Ah...!" Sakura and Shaoran said, turning around and seeing Yukito. They both looked pleased, then developed sparkly eyes. Shaoran suddenly broke his shiny eyes by turning to Sakura.  "I won't lose!" "Me neither," Sakura replied, getting ready.  "Ready!" Terada said.  He shot the gun.  The children went through ladder, than rolled balls.  One of the children's balls went off course, crashing on to the spectators.  The children walked on logs, then crawled under nets.  Most children got tangled up in the net.  Sakura and Shaoran came out.  "It looks like it's down to Sakura-chan and Li-kun!" Tomoyo said, filming them.  "Go for it!' Yukito yelled out.  Shaoran turned to look at him.  Yukito smiled.  "Ah..." He turned scarlet, and tripped.  Sakura ran to the finishing line.  "All right!" She cried.  Tomoyo smiled.
     "Tomoyo, when is your mother coming?" Sakura asked.  "Soon, I think," Tomoyo said.  "Do you want to have lunch with us?" "May I? I feel like I'm interruping the family meal," Tomoyo said.  "Of course you can! It taste better if all of us eat together!" Sakura said. She noticed Shaoran walking past them alone.  "Li-kun! Do you want to eat with us, too?" "Eh?" He looked surprised.  " Why should I eat with you?" Shaoran asked, looking slightly embarrassed.  "Sakura-chan! The lunch is ready!" Yukito called out.  "Sure!" Sakura said, turning to leave.  "?"   She turned around as she felt Shaoran grabbing her shirt.  "Uh... I...want to eat with you," He said, blushing furiously.  "Hoe?"  He turned a brilliant shade of red.
    "Ths egg is delicious," Sakura said, handing a egg roll to Tomoyo.  "Oniisan and Tsukishiro-san made it, right? It looks good!' Tomoyo said.  A flower fell onto the egg.  Yukito started eating.  Touya poured out a cup of drink and drank it.  Yukito ate and ate and ate.  "Eh...?" Shaoran sweated.  Sakura and Tomoyo also sweat-dropped.  "Oh! Sorry! I'm eating everything!" Yukito said.  "Eating a lot is good," Sakura said.  "The lunch was just too good," Yukito said.  "If your good tastes good, that's the sign of a good health!" Shaoran suddenly said, leaping up.  They stared at him.  "True," Yukito said, smiling.  "Gou...chisosama," Shaoran said, leaving.  Sakura looked after him, puzzled.
    "I'm sorry for being late!" Fujitaka cried, running up to them.  "Otoosan!' Sakura happily said.  "Ah.. I missed the cheerleaders' performance," Fujitaka said, disappointed.  "I took a video of it," Tomoyo said. "And I have lots of pictures taken," Yukito added.  "Thank you.  I'm sorry, Sakura-san." "No, I'm happy you ran all the way here for me!" Sakura said, giving her father a hug.  "Ah, here are some jellos I made yesterday.  I placed them on the university's refrigerator, so they should be cold," Fujitaka said, taking some jellos out.  "Do we have more of these at home?" Sakura asked.  "Yes, there are some in the refridgerator," Fujitaka said.  Sakura smiled.  'I'll give some to Kero-chan too later, then!' "I'll go throw the trash out," Fujitaka said.  "I'll go with you." "Me too," Touya and Yukito stood up. "Li-kun missed out on a delicious jello," Sakura said, eating the jello.  "Yes," Tomoyo agreed.  "Tomoyo."
     Tomoyo turned arond.  "Ah, Okaasama." 'What a beautiful person!' Sakura thought, looking at the tall and pretty lady.  "Let me introduce you to her.  She's my mom,(I don't know why she's saying "haha" instead of "okaasama" here, but.... whatever)" Tomoyo said.  The lady stared at Sakura.  Sakura looked back at her with a puzzled glance.  "Ah! Sorry.  My name is Daidouji Sonomi.  Thank you for taking care of Tomoyo," Sonomi said.  "No, she's the one who always takes care of me," Sakura replied.  "But you are really cute! You look a lot like a girl I used to know..." Sakura blushed.  "I heard a lot of things about you from Tomoyo, but I haven't heard your last name yet.  Will you tell me?" "Eh... to, Kino..." "Sakura-san!" Fujitaka said, coming up to her. "ARGHHHHH!!!!!" Sonomi screamed.  "Kinomoto-sensei!!!" "Sonomi-san.." Fujitaka said, surprised.  His glasses slipped off in shock.
<CM Break-- Sakura Kado!>
     "I never noticed, because your name was Amamiya back at school," Fujitaka said.  "'Sakura'.  I should have known right away when I heard the name.  Nadeshiko said she'll definately name her little girl just so if she had one."   She pointed her finger at Fujitaka. "I can never forgive you!" "Because Nadeshiko-san was still a student, and I just became a teacher..." Fujitaka said, smiling.  "Exactly! Even as a trusted teacher, you stole my precious Nadeshiko!" She growled, "I protected her against idiotic bugs ever since we were in kindergarten.  But just to think, she would've attracted such a dim-witted bug to attatch itself to her!!! Not to mention you're so cheerful after you allowed her to die when she was only 27!" "Because I promised not to cry," Fujitaka said, his smile becoming somewhat a sad smile. "With Nadeshiko-san." Sonomi looked taken back.  "Nevertheless! I'll never forgive you!" "It seems Otoosan and Tomoyo's mother knew each other.." Sakura said.  "100 meter race for the parents is about to start.  Please gather to the entrance grounds," Tomoyo's voice announced.  "Sorry to keep you waiting," Fujitaka said, returning to Sakura and Touya. "You're going, right?" Sakura asked.   "Shoud I go instead?" Touya asked.  "No.  Sonomi-kun insisted that I go," Fujitaka said, smiling.  "Where is the entrance grounds?" "Ah, there..." Sakura said, leaving with her father.
     "Should I ask about this or should I keep quiet?" Yukito asked Touya.  "Sonomi-san's maiden name was "Amamiya Sonomi". " Touya said.  "Huh?! That's your mother's maiden name," Yukito said.  ""Yeah, they were cousins.  I heard Sonomi-san really favored my mother.  My mother was the only daughter of president of a big industry. She married my father when she was only 16, even though she knew it will be hard for her.  She worked part-time as a model.  That's not the reason why she got ill, but my mother's side has lots to say.  Sonomi-san loved my mother since they were little, and I heard she was the one most opposed to the marriage." "Ah... so that's how it was.  But you know, even in pictures that are not for magazines, Nadeshiko-san always looked happy," Yukito said.  Touya smiled.  "But these flowers are like showering down, aren't they."
     "Was your mother supposed to participate?" Sakura asked Tomoyo.  "Nope!" Tomoyo replied.  "Is your mother fast?" Sakura asked.  "She was on the national team when she was in highschool!" Tomoyo replied. "Wow..." "I absolutely won't lose!" Sonomi said, smiling evilly to Fujitaka.  "Ready..." Terada said.  He shot the gun.  Fujitaka zoomed past everyone.  "Fast!" Yukito said.  "My father has the best sense of sports in our family," Touya replied.
    "Where are all these flowers coming from?" Rika asked.  "I can't see!" Chiharu cried.  "Can this be a Clow Card?!" Sakura asked, turning to Tomoyo.  "Clow Card?"
     Shaoran froze. "What is it, Li-kun?" Takashi asked.  "Trouble outside...." Shaoran said.  'Clow Card!' "Oh, that's true," Takashi cheerfully said.  "The important thing is for us to remain calm and stay in the classroom to help the injured.  Shaoran started to run out.  "Matte!" Takashi grabbed his leg.  Shaoran fell flat on his face.  "Oh no you don't.  You have to stay and help others!" "Let go of me! Shit! CLOW CARRRDDD!" Shaoran desperately screamed.
    In the pool of flower petals, Sonomi and Fujitaka were still running.  "They're still running..." Sakura said.  "My mother hates to lose!" Tomoyo said, smiling.  Sonomi, who was smaller than Fujitaka, decided to swim instead of run.  "I can't breath!" Rika cried.  "We'll drown in flowers!" Chiharu cried.  Sakura took her key out.  "You're using magic?" Tomoyo asked. "No one's looking," Sakura replied. "Fly!" She flew off with Tomoyo.  "It's Clow Card after all!" Sakura cried. "Let's ask the expert," Tomoyo said, taking her handphone out.  "When... when did you bring that...?" Sakura asked, sweat dropping.
     "Now! Super Special!" Kero screamed, throwing in the killer move.  His player got beaten up.  "NO!" He screamed.  He answered the phone.  "What is is? I'm sunk in the dispair right now," He said.  "Kero-chan! Dai hen!" Sakura cried.  "Yeah. Yeah.  Then it's definately a Clow Card!" Kero said.  "Everyone will be buried!" Sakura cried.  "For now, check where the petals are coming from!' Kero said.  Sakura looked around.  There was a pink orb on the school roof.  "There!'
      "I aboslutely won't lose!" Sonomi screamed, swimming on.  "Somebody help me!" Rika cried.  "We'll drown!' Chiharu cried.  "Hurry and go to higher grounds. We'll hold on to the finishing line," Yukito said.
     "Over there, Sakura-chan!" Tomoyo said, pointing. A beautiful young girl was merrily dancing, sprinking petals everywhere.  Sakura stared at her, enchanted.  "Sakura-chan." Tomoyo reminded her.  "Ah! You are Clow Card, aren't you!" Sakura said.  She looked over at Sakura.  She smiled.
     "How's it going over there?" Kero asked.  "This is turning serious..." Tomoyo replied.  "Sakura-chan was suddenly invited to dance!" Kero laughed.  "Girl with curly hair?" "yes," Tomoyo said.  "Don't worry! She's just obsessed with havin' fun." "What do I do?!" Sakura cried.  "Sakura-chan, if you don't hurry and seal it, the whole school will be buried," Tomoyo said.  Sakura held out her key. Flower looked at it, midly puzzled.  ""Return to your true form! Clow Card!" Spinning, she turned back to her card self.  "Flower?" She asked.  "Yup, that's flowr card.  When there are happy celebrations going on, she gets all excited.  I think she thought she'll add to things with flowers," Kero explained.  "Ur... so what can this thing do?" Sakura asked.  "You can cause various flowers to bloom!" Kero said.  "That...'s all?!" Sakura asked.  "Do'nt be disappointed! Nothing serious happened today!" Kero said. "What do you mean? We would've suffocated in the flowers!" Sakura protested.  "AHHH!" Tomoyo screamed.  "What?!" Sakura asked.  "I forgot to video tape..." Sakura collapsed.
     Fujitaka crossed the line.  "Congratulatins," Yukito said.  "Touya-kun and Tsukishiro-kun?" Fujitaka asked.  Sonomi came up behind him, huffing and looking furious.
     "With this, we can make lots of tea!" Yukito said.  "Why do we have to clean in an athletic meet?" Touya asked.
    "I hate this, I hate this, I hate this!!!! Ever since I was in highschool, I challenged you often so you can't steal Nadeshiko away from me, but I always lost!" "It would've been rude if I lost on purpose," Fujitaka said.  "Because I knew how much you loved Nadeshiko-san." "Ha! I still remember! Living in a tiny apartment.  You were just a new teacher back then.  You made her lunch, didn't you?! Everyday, you guys would go to school together with same lunch pack, holding hands. Why do you cook so well anyway?!!!" "It seems like they're fighting..." Sakura said.  "Sakura-chan." Tomoyo said, whispering something to her.  "You think it'll be all right?" Sakura asked.  Tomoyo nodded.  "Bestow flowers upon those two.  Flower," Sakura said, releasing flower.  Two nadeshikos flew down to Sonomi and Fujitaka.  "Nadeshiko's flower..." Sonomi said.  "I would always be pissed at you.  But Nadeshiko will always greet me with a smile, breaking my anger.  She was dense to the core, really..." "She really was a whole-hearted person," Fujitaka said.  "I loved her so much..." Sonomi said, starting to cry.  "She loved you, too..." Fujitaka said.  "But she used to smile with the best smile ever!  If she was so happy, why did she die so early?! "  "Sorry..." Fujitaka said.  "Why are you apologizing?!" "Because from 16 to 27 years of her life, I was the closest one to her..." Sonomi suddenly stretched his cheeks.  "That's why I hate you!"
     "The girl I resemble a lot must be my mother," Sakura said.  "I heard about a cousin named "Nadeshiko" often from my mother," Tomoyo said.  "My hair was grown out like this so that it'll be like Nadeshiko-san's, too!" "Right, since mother had a long hair..." Sakura said.  She happily said, "But it seems your mother really liked my mother!" "Ah, I like Sakura-chan so much, too!"  Tomoyo said.  "Me too," Sakura said.  "Hey, Sakura, they're gonna start the ending ceremonies!" Touya called out.  "Coming!" Sakura answered.  "Let's go, Tomoyo!" She said, running ahead.  "Yes..." Tomoyo said, gazing after her with a tender expression.

I must have recorded this episode's Kero-chan ni omakase somewhere else.  I'm so sorry! It was about Tomoeda school gym uniform.  I'll find it someday.  I apologize again. ^_^;;
