| Episode 11: Sakura to Tomoyo to Ookina Ie Sakura was riding on a bus. She had a flashback... "Eh? Do your house?" Sakura had asked Tomoyo "Yes, there is a little trouble. Sakura-chan, can you come to my house, since tomorrow is Sunday?" "Yes, I"ll be happy to, but what's the trouble?" "I"ll explain tomorrow," Tomoyo had said, smiling. "I wonder what happened.." She mused. Suddenly her bookbag squirmed, and Kero popped out. "Can't breathe!" He cried. "AH!" She cried, stuffing him back into the bookbag. People stared at her. "No, it's nothing..." She said, laughing awkwardly. "Can't do that!" She scolded her bookbag. "But I can't stand this anymore!" The bookbag replied. "Hold it just a little longer!" "I've already reached my limit!" "We have to go just a little more! It's stop after next one!" People stared at her conversing with her bookbag, and turned to look at each other. <Title Screen: Sakura and Tomoyo and the Big House>> The bus left. Sakura looked at the map. "That's strange, it should be in this area..." Sakura said. "You can't find the house? Let me see," Kero said. "Hm, it should be in this area..." "Tomoyo-chan said it was right after the bus stop," Sakura said. Kero flew up. "Someone will see you!" Sakura said. "No one's here. EH?!" "What is it?" Sakura asked. "I found Tomoyo's house!" "Where, where?" She asked, looking around. Kero held her by her collar and flew up. "Look." "Hoe?!" She cried, floating in air. "AH?!" She noticed an enormous mansion. It turned out every land after the bus stop was part of the Daidouji residence. "Hello, who is it?" A voice asked in the intercome. "This is Kinomoto," Sakura said. "Ah, welcome," The voice said. The door automatically opened. Sakura walked in, admiring the huge house. "Sakura-chan!" Tomoyo cried, coming out. "Hello," Sakura said. "Welcome!" "Yo, Tomoyo!" Kero said. "Hi Kero-chan. This way," She said, holding Sakura's hand and entering the house. "This is a really big house," Kero commented. "Ojousama," A voice said. "O...Ojousama?" Sakura asked, sweat dropping. "Where shall I bring the tea to?" "3 cups to my room, please," Tomoyo replied, holding up three fingers. "Three...?" The maid lady asked. "Yes. Please take care of it," Tomoyo said, leaving with Sakura. The maid wondered, holding up three fingers, "Three?" "Amazing, amazing!" Sakura cried, entering a huge room. "Tomoyo's room's really big," Kero agreed. "This is part of your room, too?" Sakura asked, pointing at a curtained section. "Yes," She said. "What is it used for?" Tomoyo drew the curtains and turned on a movie-theatre like TV on. "Fly!" Sakura in kitty custom cried. "Sakura-chan is really cute!" Tomoyo happily cried. "See, over here, the way the skirt flutters is wonderful." "I'm so cool, too!" Kero happily said. Sakura sweat-dropped. There was a fairy-like custom on the table. "Is this the one you're working on right now?" Sakura asked. "Yes, I thought I'll have you wear it," Tomoyo said. "Ah, it's flashy and nice. It'll be easy to move around in this custom," Kero approved. "But I feel bad about making you customs for me all the time!" Sakura said. "Don't feel that way! To shoot films of Sakura-chan wearing a custom made by me.... it makes me so happy!" Tomoyo cried. Sakura sweated, laughing. "Oh, but what's the trouble?" Sakura asked Tomoyo. "Acutally..." Tomoyo said. There was a knock at the door. "Crap!" Kero said, hiding in clothes in Tomoyo's table. "Come in," Tomoyo said. Sonomi ran in. "Okaasama. Welcome home," Tomoyo said. "Hello," Sakura said. "Welcome. I ran all the way from work when I heard Sakura is coming over to play," Sonomi said, going into a hyper mode that remarkably resembled that of Tomoyo's. "Do you want to drink tea outside? I've bought some delicious cake," Sonomi happily said. "Ke..keki?" Sakura asked, sweat dropping. 'KEKI?!' Kero repeated. "Let's go," Sonomi said, leaving the room. The maid lady entered with the tea. "Ah, please bring that outside," Sonomi said. "Hai,' The lady said. Everyone left the room. "CAKE! MY CAKE~!" Kero cried. He stopped. "Ah...?" Strange aura... "This aura....?!" Sonomi cutted into a strawberry shortcake. "The cake from this shop is really good. Do you like sweets?" Sonomi asked Sakura. "Yes!" Sakura cheerfully replied. "That's great. Nadeshiko loved sweets, too. She said sweets had another stomach for them. She would eat a huge cake all by herself," Sonomi mused, lost in happiness. "Father said that, too," Sakura said. Image of cutie Nadeshiko was broken by an image of Fujitaka. Making a disgusted face, Sonomi shooed the image bubble away. "I think she had a metabolism where no matter how much she ate, she wouldn't grow chubby," Sakura told Tomoyo. "That's wonderful," Tomoyo replied. "Well, then let's eat up!" Sonomi said. "Itadakimasu!" The girls said. Sonomi lovingly watched Sakura eating her cake. "How is it?" She asked. "It's really good!" Sakura told her. Sonomi happily smiled, wearing that look that Tomoyo often wears when Sakura is wearing the custom that she had made. Touya was washing the car. "You're working hard," A voice said. "Yuki," Touya said, looking up. "It shows that you worked in a gas station. You're really good," Yuki commented. "Tsukishiro-kun," Fujitaka said, coming out with a bag of trash. "Konnichiwa. I thought since you are doing major cleaning today, I'll bring you this," Yukito said, holding up a box of cake. "Thank you. Then shall we have tea outside, since the weather's nice?" Fujitaka suggested. "Sure," The boys said. Yukito looked around. "Sakura-chan is?" He asked. "To her friend's house," Touya replied. "Tomoyo-chan's?" Yukito asked. "Yup." "That means that mother that we met on the athletic meet..." "Sonomi-san's house." Touya confirmed. Yukito looked worried. "It's OK. Sonomi-kun will never do anything to hurt Sakura. I'm positive." Fujitaka said, smiling. Touya looked startled, then he smiled and resumed his work. <CM Break-- Tomoyo Card!> Sakura ate the last bite of the cake. Sonomi watched her with sparkly eyes. "You really resemble Nadeshiko..." She said. "Is that so?" Sakura asked, smiling. "Nadeshiko was really cute...." Sonomi had a flashback.... Nadeshiko was holding up a flower necklace. "Sonomi-chan..." Nadeshiko was holding an umbrella, standing next to flowers... "Hey, Sonomi-chan..." Nadeshiko was putting on a white hat, her hair browing out in the breeze..."Sonomi-chan, yesterday..." Nadeshiko was standing under golden and crimson leaves, holding up a puppy. "Hora, Sonomi-chan." Nadeshiko was standing under cherry blossom tree, flowers flying everywhere around her as she said, smiling happily, "You know, Sonomi-chan.... I"m getting married. To Fujitaka Sensei!" Sonomi developed a popping vein. "What is it?" Tomoyo asked. 'Nothing.... I just remembered something rather unpleasant." Sonomi said. "You know, can I call you Sakura-chan?" Sonomi said, turning to Sakura. "Sure!" Sakura replied. "I heard Sakura-chan is in cheerleading squad?" "Yes," She replied. "And you have a great athletic abilities?" "Not really.." Sakura said, embarassed. "That's completely different from Nadeshiko. She wasn't athletic at all. She had neither the speed nor the coordination for it," Sonomi said, going into another flashback mode. "Then what happend?" Nadeshiko had asked Sonomi. "And then, Grandpa said for your next birthday...Nadeshiko?" Sonomi asked, noticing that she's gone. "Nadeshiko!" She cried, finding her friend on her face on the floor. "It seems I fell down," Nadeshiko said, smiling. Another flashback-- Sonomi and Nadeshiko were skiing. Nadeshiko crashed onto a tree and managed to become a snowball. Yet another flashback-- Nadeshiko ran to jump over the obstacles during gym class, but she managed to make everything fall down and land on her face. And also... "Don't do that! It's dangerous!" Sonomi screamed to Nadeshiko. "It's all right. I"m almost done," Nadeshiko said, up in the tree. "I'll go! Come down!" Sonomi cried. "Just a little further.." Nadeshiko dropped the baby bird gently on its nest with its siblings. "You'll be all right now," She happily said. The branch under her cracked and she fell down. "Nadeshiko!!!" Sonomi screamed. "KYAA!" Nadeshiko landed on top of a guy. "Are you all right?" A young teacher asked her. "Yes! Forgive me!" Nadeshiko said, helping him up. "I thought an angel had fallen from the sky," He said, smiling. Nadeshiko looked at him, while he looked back at her, smiling. And... "YEAH~! That's how they first met!!!" Sonomi exploded, leaping out of her seat. "Angel and crap! How disgusting! Of course my Nadeshiko is as cute as an angel, but....!!!" She coughed and sat down. "Excuse me." Sakura brushed her sweat bead aside and asked, "Um, you knew my father, right?" "Yes," Sonomi said. "Can you tell me something about him?" Sakura asked. "Huh?" "I know lots of things about my mother, because father tells me about her. But he doesn't really talk about himself... All of my father's relatives are gone, and I don't know any of mother's... So.... So... " Sonomi considered. "Your father was a horrible person," She said. "Huh?" "He's cool, he's kind, he's good at cooking, he's good at everything... to a person who loves Nadeshiko, he was a really horrid, horrid person! Yes, should I say that his fault is that he has none?" Sonomi asked, winking. Sakura smiled happily. "Keep this a secret that I told you that," Sonomi said. "Hai!" Sakura replied. Fujitaka sneezed. "Father, you okay?" Touya asked. "Is it cold?" Yukito asked. "No, I"m fine... is someone talking about me?" He asked, laughing. The ladies were having fun. "And then your father was..." The maid lady came with the phone. "A call from the office," She said. Sonomi groaned. "Yes, it's me. Yeah, yeah. What? That WILL be a problem....hold it. " She turned to Sakura and Tomoyo. "This will take a while. I"m sorry," She said. "It's all right. We'll play in my room," Tomoyo said. "Please forgive me," She said, turning to Sakura. "No, I ate very well." She said, leaving with Tomoyo. "Shit.... Sakura-chan! You have to stay for dinner! You absolutely have to! It's a promise! " Sonomi said. "Hai!" Sakura replied. "Tomoyo-chan's mother is wonderful," Sakura said, going to Tomoyo's room. "Thank you! I"m sure mom will be pleased to hear that, too," Tomoyo replied. They opened the door. "Keki.. you left me all alone... I wuz the only one who didn't get no cake... " Kero said. He went into ghost mode. "You seemed to be enjoying your cake, Sakura..." "I'm sorry!" Sakura cried. "I wuz watchin' everythin' from upstairs window..." Kero said, haunting Sakura. "Sorry to keep you waiting. Here is your portion," Tomoyo said, producing a piece of cake. "Wai, wai, keki ya keki! Wai, wai...." Kero happily sung. Sakura turned to Tomoyo. "Thank you," She said. "It's scary to have someone angered by food," Tomoyo said, smiling. Kero took a bite. "This is great! There was Kurou Kado kehai in here, so I was erally lonely all alone!" Kero said. "Yatbari! Kero-chan is sharp after all," Tomoyo said. She brought out a box. "This is the troublesome box," She said. Sakura said, "I don't see anything strange..." "It won't open," Tomoyo said. "You lost the key?" Sakura asked. "No, the key's right here. But..." She tried to open the box, but the key flew off. "My mother tried to open it, and this is what happened. "This is definately Clow Card's deed!" Kero said. "I thought so! That's why I called," Tomoyo said. "There is something really important for my mother and I in there. It's not lost since it's in the box, but it's really precious," Tomoyo said. "All right! I'll try! Since I like Tomoyo-chan and Tomoyo-chan's mother!" Sakura declared. "Sakura-chan..." Tomoyo said, touched. She produced the video. "Then the video's preparations are OK!" Sakura collapsed. "But what kind of card won't let us open a box?" Kero wondered. "No matter how hard I look, nothing looks strange..." Sakura said. She tapped on the box with her key. A barrier appeared. "Huh?!" "What is it?" Tomoyo asked. "Sakura," Kero said. "Une." Sakura tapped again. A barrier blocked her again. "This is Shield! Shield Card! You saw the barrier just now, right?" "I didn't see anything," Tomoyo said. "It can be seen by people with magic," Kero explained. "It's protecting this box." "Can it be that it figured out that Tomoyo's my friend, and..." Sakura started out. "No, it's not that mean. It just tends to protect what's most improtant. It must have decided whatever's in the box is the most precious thing it can find." Tomoyo smiled. "But how do I return it into a card stage?' Sakura asked. "Easy. You have the Sword that can cut through anything," Kero said. "Oh! So I can cut Shield with Sword!' Sakura said. "If you cut it, Shield will appear. Don't lose that opportunity!" Kero said, winking. Sakura changed her key into sword and cut through the shield. A shield appeared. "Imaya Sakura!" "Une! Return to your rightful form, Clow Card!" Sakura cried, returning the card. She caught it as it descended. "You did it Sakura!" Kero said. "That was heroic," Tomoyo said. "AH!" She suddenly screamed. "What is it?!" Sakura asked. "I should have dressed you up in the battle custom..." Tomoyo said. "Aiyaya...." Sakura collapsed. The box opened. "It's back to normal! Thank you!" Tomoyo said. "Of course, since I coached her...." Kero said, looking proud. "May I see what's inside?" Sakura asked. "Yes," Tomoyo said, opening the box. There were pink flowers. There was a knock at the door. "Oh, no.." Kero said, hiding. "Come in," Tomoyo said. "I'm sorry about before. Oh, you opened it?" Sonomi said. "How?" Sakura froze while Tomoyo explained, "There was a spring stuck to the hole." "So that's why the key went flying off..." Sonomi said. She took the pink bouquet out from the box. "It's a beautiful bouquet," Sakura said. "It's what your mother Nadeshiko held in her wedding," Sonomi said. "Huh...?" "Nadeshiko really loved Sakura since she was little, so she said she'd name her daughter Sakura." "Sakura....?" Sonomi kneeled down to face her. She smiled. "And you are that Sakura-chan." Sakura smiled. She closed her eyes, imagining herself in a field full of cherry blossoms with her mother smiling upon her.... "Then I'll make dinner tonight! What would you like to eat? The dining room's this way," Sonomi said, holding Sakura's hand and leading her out. "Tomoyo, please give me a hand!" "Yes!" Tomoyo said. She took a small pouch out of the box. "Wuzzat?' Kero asked. "Eraser," Tomoyo said. "Eraser? That's what you regard precious?" Kero skeptically asked. "This is...." Tomoyo had a flashback... "Let's get along, since we're sitting next to each other! Nice to meet you!" A cute girl with short brown hair-- Sakura-- said. "You don't have an eraser? Here! You can keep it if you want to!" "This is the first thing Sakura had ever given to me...." Tomoyo said, smiling. "Ya said somethin'?" Kero asked. "No, nothing," Tomoyo said. "Tomoyo!" Sonomi called. "Yes!" She replied, placing the pouch back in the box and locking it. "Then see ya!" Kero said. "Please watch the room while I'm away!" Tomoyo said, leaving. "'Kay! Bring lots of delicious stuff for me!" The scene faded with Kero waving to Tomoyo. <Kero-chan ni Omakase> Konyanyachiwa! The energetic weekly Kero-chan's corner which will make you and me and everyone full of cheer is just about to begin!
