| Sakura to Owaranai Ichinichi <Title Screen: Sakura's Never Ending Day> It was almost noon. Fujitaka was giving a lecture on pyramids. Sometimes our school has special lessons where parents come to lecture us, Sakura told us. Yup, today's my father's turn! He teaches at university! This is actually my first time being taught by my father, so I'm really excited! I thought archeology is hard, but it's actually kind of fun! Tomoyo listened to the lesson with Sakura, absorbed. She turned to Sakura and whispered, "Your father's really wonderful!" Sakura proudly smiled. The bell rung. "Ah? I thought I had another ten minutes..." Fujitaka said, looking at his watch. People gave him a round of applause, and our little wolf was so pleased with the lecture that he stood up on his desk clapping, attracting strange looks from his neighbors. "Is it true that the pyramids have curse of paraohs?" Shaoran asked Fujitaka, excited. "Ah, that's difficult to say," Fujitaka answered, smiling. "But I heard you'll be cursed if you disturb the dead," Shaoran said. "But not all pyramids contained dead bodies in them. One paraoh, in fact, had 5 pyramids." "Really?!" Shaoran asked, intrigued. "Strange, isn't it, to have 5 graves. But lots of pyramids indeed had corpses inside of them. You seem to be very interested in these kind of things. Would you like to come over to my house sometime? I have more examples and things." Fujitaka said. "May I?!" Shaoran happily asked. "Mochiron." "All right!" Shaoran said, clenching his fist in happiness. "Kinomoto-san's father is really something else, isn't he," Takashi added. "Kinomoto...." Shaoran turned around, making a face. "Kinomoto?" "Didn't you know by name? He's Sakura's father." "Eh?!" Shaoran turned his gaze to Sakura. She was waving at her father. Fujitaka was waving back. Shaoran instantly shot her a murderous glare. "What... the hell was that for..." Sakura said, sweat dropping. "Father!" Sakura said, running up to him. "Was the lecture too difficult?" Fujitaka asked, turning around and smiling. "No, it was interesting and easy!" She said. "Thank goodness. What would you like for lunch?" "Huh? Isn't it Oniichan's shift?" Sakura asked. "Touya-kun has a test tomorrow." Fujitaka explained. "Oh, then..." The bell rung. "Ah, is the break over already?" Sakura asked, disappointed. "Breaks always seem to go by quickly. Hurry along, now." "Hai," Sakura said. It was 10 at night. "Wuz Sakura doin'.... good kids should be in bed by now... all righ'!" Kero said, finishing the next-to-the final stage in the game. Sakura, at the same time, was practing talking to Yukito in front of Touya's door. "Good luck on your test. Um, please take this! And uh..." The door opened. "Whatcha doin'?" Touya asked. "Ah, Sakura-chan," Yukito said. "Um, nikuman...!" "Oh, dinner? You're hungry, right Yuki?" Touya said, turning to Yukito.. "Yeah. Thank you, Sakura-chan," Yukito said. "It's late. Go to sleep." Touya said. "Oyasumi," Yukito added. "O...oyasumi nasai!" Sakura stammered. The door closed on Sakura's face. "Good night, then. Ah, I'm up to the last part of my journey," Kero said, turning off the lights. "The only word I was able to say after all was "nikuman"! Ah, but Yukito-san's next door. It's exciting... Kero-chan, didn't you start the game today?" Sakura asked Kero. "Yup. I planned on finishing it today," Kero said. "You'll ruin your eyesight." Sakura scolded. At 12, Sakura was fast asleep when the bell of the clock tower rung. She woke up. "Ain't that the bell at Sakura's school?" Touya asked Yukito. "Yup," Yukito replied. "What's it doing at this hour? It's not supposed to ring after 5 pm, " Touya wondered. "Why... at this late hour..." Kero moaned. "Izzit broken?" "But it was never broken before," Sakura said. "AH! I'm late!" Sakura screamed. "You weren't able to sleep after that, huh." Kero said. "Bye!" Sakura cried, running out. "Bye... now, to finish my long journey.... eh?!!!" He stared at the TV screen, speechless. "What the... no data?!!!" "Are you ready for the recorder test?" Tomoyo asked Sakrua. "I don't think I practiced enough..." Sakura moaned. "Don't worry! Sakura is always doing well in the key time," Tomoyo reassured her. "Is that so... But I can't get the highest note right...." "Just relax," Tomoyo said. "Relax.." "Next is Kinomoto," the music teacher said. Sakura froze. She started to walk up to the piano when she saw Tomoyo mouthing the word "Relax" and making signs to breathe deep. Sakura started to play the recorder. 'It's the next phrase that she's having trouble with....' Tomoyo thought, looking at her anxiously. Sakura made a high pitched squeak in her recorder. Tomoyo made a painful expression. Shaoran was practicing under his desk. "I made a horrible sound..." Sakura groaned. "But rest of the part you did very well," Tomoyo comforted her. "Because Tomoyo told me to relax," She said. "But you were wonderful. It was hard to believe it was the same song!" The boys were playing soccer at the field. "Li-kun is still practicing, even though the test is over," Sakura said, noticing Shaoran playing the recorder as he walked. "Perhaps because he did not do so well in today's test. But it's dangerous to do that while walking," Tomoyo said. "I wonder if Li-kun came here all by himself?" Sakura wondered. "Come to think of it, he never mentioned about his family," Tomoyo said. Suddenly the boys screamed, 'Look out!" "Huh?!" Sakura and Tomoyo turned their gaze as the speeding ball flew straight towards Shaoran. Shaoran jumped up into the air, kicking the ball in the midair. The ball flew across the field and neatly landed on the goal. "That was splendid!" Tomoyo cried. "Sugoi!" Sakura agreed. "Li-kun! That was an amazing shot!" Takashi said as the children around clapped. Shaoran scratched his head with the recorder, embarassed. "Congratulations on finishing the test!" Fujitaka said. "Cheers!" Sakura drank the juice blissfully. "Delicious!" She said. "How was the test?" Fujitaka asked Touya. "Was okay," Touya replied. "I can't stand it! I messed up one note!" Sakura cried. "You sure it's not only one note that you got correctly?" Touya asked. "No!" Sakura cried. "It's not embarassing to make mistakes, but please practice the part that you got wrong," Fujitaka said. "Hai." While Kero played the video game(I wonder if Sakura buys the games for Kero, because I never saw her playing...) Sakura practiced on the recorder. "I did it! I'll finish tomorrow! Gotta save, save..." Kero said, saving the game. Sakura also finished her song. "I did it! Kero-chan, you heard?!" "Huh? Ain't your recorder test over?" Kero asked. "Father told me to practice the part that I wasn't doing well on," Sakura explained. "That's yer father, always sayin' good stuff," Kero said. "I'll practice tomorrow, too!" Sakura said. "All righ'! I'll finish my journey tomorrow!" They went to sleep. At 12, the bell rung. Then we see a sand clock being reversed, and the clock starts to spin backwards.... <CM Break-- Sakura Card!> "I can't be~~~!!!" Kero's painful voice rang through Sakura's room. "I saved yesterday!!! Sakura, you saw too, right?!" "Really? I'll see you later!" Sakura said, rushing out. "I can't believe I have to play again... why, why, why?!!!" "Let's try our best at our recorder test!" Tomoyo said. "Eh?" Sakura asked. "How do you think you'll do?" Tomoyo asked. "Well, I practiced yesterday, so..." "Just like I've expected. So it'll be OK?" Tomoyo asked. "Didn't we take the recorder test yesterday, too?" Sakura asked. Tomoyo looked at her, surprised, while Sakura explained, "I had toast with Father and Brother after I've finished the test!" "Sakura-chan.." Tomoyo said, smiling. "...are you nervous?" "No! That's not it!" Sakur cried. "Next is Kinomoto," The music teacher said. "Yes!" She said. Sakura glanced at Tomoyo. Tomoyo mouthed the word "relax" and made gestures to deeply breathe. Shaoran glared at his surroundings suspiciously. Sakura finished the test wonderfully, and Tomoyo sighed in relief. "That's Sakura-chan, doing well in key times." Sakura and Tomoyo were sitting in the same stairs on the playground as yesterday. "Sakura-chan, is it deja vu?" "Deja vu?" Sakura repeated. "Yes, like when you get to a place for a first time and it doesn't feel new, or even when it's first time you met someone it feels like you've met that person before," Tomoyo explained. "It's not like that! My memory's clear! See, over there..." Sakura said, pointing at the field as the proceedings went exactly as it did yesterday. "And Li-kun will come playing on the recorder, and kick the ball and score..." "Come to mention it, Li-kun is here," Tomoyo said, as Shaoran walked towards them. "Ah... but he isn't playing the recorder today," Sakura said, surprised. "Isn't it strange?" Shaoran asked Sakura. She looked up at him, startled. "Yesterday is repeating itself! It seems you and I are the only ones who seem to have noticed it. It's work of a Clow Card." She gave him a puzzled look. "Eh? You didn't notice it? It's from there," Shaoran said, pointing at the clock tower. "Look out!" The boys cried. Shaoran jumped up to the air and kciked the soccer ball, shooting it into the goal agian. "It's a bit different from yesterday..." Sakura said. "Li-kun! That was amazing!" The children said, clapping. "That looks very nice on you!" Tomoyo said, video taping Sakura. 'What... what is this?" Sakura asked. "Image of a yosei flying freely in the night sky!" Tomoyo cried, delighted. "It's pretty flashy and it'll be easy to move around to capture the Clow Card in this custom!" Kero added. "That's...." Sakura started out. "The Camera's preparations are OK!" Tomoyo said. "OK, let's go!" Using Fly, Sakura flew up towards the clock tower. "I feel it... Clow Card's aura!" Sakura said. "Yeah, that's.." Suddenly Kero stopped. "Eh? What is it?" Sakura asked. Suddenly everything became yellowish as Sakura's voice became distorted. "I-wonder-what-happened--" The strange voice drawled out. "It's-card-of-time--" Kero's voice, also weird, slowly said. Time reversed and Sakura stood in front of Tomoyo again. "Kero-chan, what is this?" Sakura asked. " Time Card. It controls the time," Kero explained. "Camera standby is OK," Tomoyo said. "Huh?" Sakura asked. "People without magic can't tell that time has repeated itself. The Time chose the biggest clock and is playing around with it," Kero said. "And it reverses time?" Sakura asked. "Only once a day, at midnight." "Midnight? And if we fail to capture it?" Sakura asked. "We have to live through the same day again!" Kero moaned. "Hoe! I don't wanna take the recorder test again!" Sakura cried. "I don't wanna play the game all over again! Hurry and seal it, Sakura!" "Yeah!" They flew up. As Sakura got near, the clock suddenly started to go at a tremendous speed. "What is this?!" Sakura asked. "Time made only time at this tower speed up!" Kero cried. The bell struck twelve. The sand that Time was holding was reversed, and... "That looks very nice on you," Tomoyo said, video taping Sakura. "It's made in image of a fairy that roams free?" Sakura asked, sighing. "Right! I"m so glad you understand!' Tomoyo said. "It's tiresome to live through a day three times. When am I gonna be able to go to the last stage?' Kero groaned. "Really, I took that recorder test 3 times now!" Sakura agreed. "So why didn't we come earlier?" Kero asked. "But I had to have that toast with father and review for the test..." Sakura said. 'What are you doin' here?" Shaoran asked. "Li-kun! Is your face okay?" Sakura asked. Shaoran, who had a band-aid on his nose, sweat-dropped. "He hit the ball with his nose as he was turning around to kick it," Tomoyo said. "But it went in, just the same," Sakura said. "Right, that was splendid," Tomoyo agreed. "Time is just right there! All you have to do is attack the tower, and it'll return to its card form!" Shaoran broke in, pointing at the tower. "Can't do that!" Sakura protested. "Why not?" Shaoran asked. "Everyone depends on that clock! We can't just break it!" She explained. "Well, then you're just gonna leave it like that?!" Shaoran retorted. "No, but... we can't break the clock!" Sakura said. Shaoran thought for a moment. "We can't break it, then we have to snick in unnoticed. If you use the Fly, it'll sense the magic." Sakura softly ran up the tower, Tomoyo following after her with her video camera. "No mistake, the card's in here," Kero said. Shaoran swung the bell of his sword, which had claws attatched to it. He threw the anchor, climbing up the tower. "Return to your truthful form....!" Sakura started. Time stopped the time, and she froze. "Wuz wrong?" Kero asked. "We didn't make it in time?!" "Am I too late?!" Sakura asked, as she tried to move. Suddenly the window of the tower shattered, as Shaoran broke in. "Li-kun!" Sakura cried. "YOU?!" Kero asked, looking disgusted. "Hurry and use the Shield Card!" Shaoran prompted. "Ah... protect us from the magic of Time! Shield!" Sakura cried, releasing the Shield. "Ya did it! All right! The magic can't peneterate Shield!" Kero said. "He's running away!" Sakura cried. The time flew away, looking remarkably like an old geezer with duck wings for hands. Shaoran smiled, narrowing his eyes. He raised his sword just as Time reached the entrance. "Impact come forth!!!" He cried. Card got stuck by lightening and collapsed. "You got it ready?!" Sakura asked, suprised. "Sakura, hurry and seal it!" Kero said. "Return to your true self! Clow Card!" Sakura cried, capturing it. The card flew towards her, but went past her and landed in Shaoran's hand. "Why?!" Sakura asked, shocked. "Card goes to the one who made it return to its original form," Kero said. "But I sealed it!" Sakura said. 'Yes, but it goes to one who broke its powrs. It's hard to swallow, but the card is the brat's." "It can't be..." Sakura said, looking disappointed. Shaoran smugly smiled, holding up the Time Card. "Ohayo!" Sakura said next morning, noticing Tomoyo. "Ohayo gozaimasu!" Tomoyo replied. "Time has returned to normal," Sakura said. "Yes, even though I did not notice it was abnormal," Tomoyo said, smiling. "What is that recorder for?' "Don't we have a recorder test today?' Sakrua asked. "That was yesterday. Today we have the sketching test first thing in the morning," Tomoyo said. "Hoe? HOE!!! I forgot what day it is today!!!" Sakura screamed, "crying". <Kero-chan ni Omakase!> Konyanyachiwa! Everyone's been doin' okay all week?
