| Episode 4: Sakura no Kuta Kuta Nichiyoubi Sakura opened the shutters. "All right, it's a sunny day!" She happily said. "It's almost like yesterday's rain was a lie," Kero replied. "But it's Sunday and yer up so early!' "Because I promised to go on a picnic with Tomoyo! Come with us! If I put you in my bookbag, no one will notice! Okay?" Sakura asked, smiling. "But thank goodness for such a good weather!" <Title Screen: Sakura's Exhausting Sunday> "Ohayo!" Sakur cried. "Ohayo, Sakura-san," Fujitaka answered. "Morning, monster." Touya said. Sakura smiled. "I"ll forgive you today, because the weather is so nice!" Touya and Fujitaka stared at her. "I"m going out with Tomoyo today!" Touya said, "Oi...all chores are your duty.... remember last week?" "Hoe?" Sakura had a flashback. "Um... Rika-chan is having a piano concert... I think I'll go cheer her on..." Touya had looked up from what he was cooking. "Fine, I"ll change the shift with you." "Really?!" "Next Sunday, do the chores instead." Sakura sighed. "Haiya..." "I have to go to part time job," Touya said. "Ah, we couldn't do laundry because of the rain and it piled up. Do you want some help?" Fujitaka asked. "Go ahead to work; I"ll do it," Sakura replied. She waved as they left. "I forgot all about it..." She called Tomoyo. "I can't be helped," Tomoyo replied. "I'm sorry.." "Plaese work hard on the chores!" Tomoyo said. "Then I"ll see you tomorrow," Sakura answered. "Yeah..." Tomoyo glanced at the prepared basket of picnic food. "I should write an apology letter to take on Monday," Sakura said. She started to wash the dishes. "Kero-chan, how is it going?" "Yeah, yeh, just 'cause no one is here. Why do I have to do this?" Kero grumply said, turning the washing machine on. Sakura started to vaccuum the house. "Hoe?" She took out a card from under the carpet. "Wood.. Clow Card!" She happily cried. "Huh? It stopped. What is it?" Kero asked, staring at the washing machine. He fell into it. "Kero-chan, Clow Card! Ara? He's not here... oh well, I'll show off later," She said, leaving the room. Kero came out. "It's really whirling today..." Kero said, coming out of the washing machine. He was sparkling. ^_^ "Argh! I had enough! This ain't somethi that the strongest guardian beast should do!" "And when I'm finished, I'll go eat ice cream with Kero-chan!" Sakura said, cleaning the living room. Kero turned around. "Oh well, I guess I can't help but help her a little more..." Kero sighed. "All right! The last place!" Sakura said, coming down to the basement. She opened the window and started to vaccuum the floor. "Hoe? This is all ink-covered..." She said, lifting a piece of paper up. "Clow Card! I'm so lucky to find two cards! Ah, I"ll wipe it clean. Towel, towel, wet towel~" She happily said, going off to fetch a towel. The phone rang. "I"m coming!" She replied. "Sakura-san!" "Otoosan!" "Is there a blue envelope on the dining table?" Fujitaka asked. "Yes," She replied. "Will you please bring it to me? Today's entire presentation in in it," He replied. "Oh no, I'm coming right now!" She replied. "Kero, I"m goinout for a hile!" She roller-bladed to the bus stop. "Bye!" She said, as her father left in the bus. "Thank you!" He said. "Sakura-chan!" A voice called her. "Yukito-san!" "You were doing an errand for your father?" "Yes," Sakura replied. "That's very sweet of you," Yukito smiled. "But why are you in school uniform?" "Oh, I was helping the basketball team." 'Yukito-san doesn't belong in any of the clubs, but when they ask him, he just goes,' Sakura thought. 'He's clever and good at evertying.. hanyaan....' Yukito was outlined with flowers. "Did you have lunch yet?" "Not yet..." "Why don't we eat together over there?" He suggested. A guy brought them the menu. "Oniichan.." Sakura said. Yukito started to eat and eat and eat. "Thank you. I seem to eat 3 times as much as normal when I've exercised," Yukito said. "He eats three times as much as me," Touya commented. "Three, three times?" Sakura asked. She looked outside. "Kero-chan is waiting..." "Kero-chan?" Yukito asked. "Oh, nothing..." She hesitantly replied. "Ah, and it's healthy to eat alot." "But it's bad for my allowance," Yukito replied. "Thank you, Yukito-san!" She said, parting with him. "Tadaima!" Sakura said. She saw that the laundry were all hung out. "Kero-chan!' She happily cried, running up to her room. She found Kero, sleeping. "Thank you," She smiled. "Oh no, it's spinning..." Kero mumbled. "I'll make lunch right away," She said. She heard a cracking sound. "Kero-chan...Kero-chan?" "What? A grub?" Kero asked. "I heard something..." "Can it be a robber?" He asked. "Can it be a ghost?!" Sakura asked, panicking. "Not during the day," Kero replied. "But maybe some do!" With broom in her hand, she left for the basement. "It's coming from the basement..." "In here, open it," Kero said. "Huh? I can't see anythin'" Suddenly leaves shot out. Screaming, Sakura and Kero blocked the tree branches. "Tree branch.." "But it's tree branch! how come?!" "Wood?" Kero asked. "Oh, now that you mention Clow Card, today..." Sakura started. "Eh?! Ya didn't right yer name on 'em?!" Kero cried. "But they were still in their card form!' Sakura cried. "It's only okay if you've written yer name on them!" Kero scolded. "But nothing happened unilt now!" Sakura said. "Wood is a gentle card; This is bizarre," Kero mused. "Then why? Kero-chan, what should we do?" "I'm in trouble too!" Kero was tangled up in one of the branches. They heard the door bell ring. They exchanged a look. "Now what?!" <CM Break-- Sakura Card!> "Who was that?" Sakura asked. "You'll know if you go outside and look!" Kero said. The branches started to push out under the door. "If someone sees us like this, they'll spread weird rumors around!" Suddenly Kero drooped. "I'm stuffed animal now." "Kero-chan!" "Don't talk to a stuffed animal." The bell rang again. "Yes!" "Why the hell didya reply?!" Kero cried. "But I couldn't help it!" Sakura said. A shadow looked into the house. The door opened. Sakura closed her eyes tightly... "Ara, this is..." A familiar voice said. "Good afternoon." "Tomoyo-chan!" Sakura cried. "Were you trimming your garden?" Tomoyo asked. "This is the Wood; A Clow Card," Sakura replied. Tomoyo helped to untangle Sakura and Kero. "Seal it, now!" Kero saide. "Release! Return to your truthful form, Clow Card!" Sakura cried, sealing the card. "So lovely, Sakura-chan!" Tomoyo said, taping her. "Is something wrong?" Kero asked, as Sakura started to look under the table. "The card's not here." "It can't be. It has to be somewhere..." "Ah, it was in the basement. I think it's there!" "Then let's get it!" "'kay!" With that, they all started for the basement. Suddenly the floor trembled. They all screamed and ran away to the roof. The wood reached out, its sharp point facing them.... then turned around and faced the Sun. It popped leaves. "I toldya it was a good tempered card," Kero said. "It looks happy in the sunlight," Sakura said, relieved. "That is something to be expected of Miss Wood," Tomoyo added. Suddenly Kero screamed out, "ARGH! The laundry!" "Please don't be sad," Tomoyo said, as Kero eyed the ruined laundry in dismay. "I'll help too this time, so..." Sakura started out. "Not again..." Kero groaned. "We need to totally seal it from the source." "You mean, from the basement?" Sakura asked. "Yeah, and..." They suddenly stopped. "Something sounds like an elephant walking..." Kero said, "Wood is a good tempered card, but... it's absorbing sunlight right now, so it's growing!" "Our house will be destroyed..." Sakura said. "It's time for cardcaptor Sakura!" Tomoyo happily cried. Sakura looked over herself in a wing-custom. "Why did you bring a custom?" Sakura asked. "I was about to tape "Sakura-chan Dances In The Jungle" today," Tomoyo happily said. "So that's why you've brought the lunch, too," Kero happily said. Sakura sweat-dropped. They crawled under the leaves, reaching the basement. "What's that sound?" Sakura asked. Kero looked around. Sakura stepped in a puddle. "But it shouldn't be wet," Kero said. "You sure there was no other cards?" "Ah, there was another one.." "ANOTHER one?!" Kero asked. "Then this is..." They saw a cloud floating above them, pouring out rain. "Rain." "Rain?" Sakura asked. "It combined with wood to create this jungle!" Sakura jumped to the front. "Rain! Wood! You've caused enough mischief!" "How lovely.." Tomoyo mumbled, taping her. Rain happily smiled and started to dump water on her. "Oh... it's no big deal!" Sakura said, delighted. Rain dumped water on her. "Hoeee!" She started to run away. "It's just playing! Capture it!" "But I can't do it like this!" Sakura said, ducking between the shelves. "Use Watery against it!" "Watery...? I see. Aid me, Watery!" She said, releasing the Watery Card. It came forth and sucked up all the water. "Watery, be the chain that binds!" Watery wrapped Rain up in a bubble. "All right, got it!" Kero happily cried. "Clow Card, return to the form in which thou should be in!" Rain tried to run away, but it got transformed into its card state. "Ya did it!" Kero happily said. "Now, the one who's left destroying our house. Wood!' "Hold it," Kero said. Kero smiled. The Wood reduced into little form, then returned into a card form. "Toldya it was gentle," Kero said. "So the Wood and the Rain were nakayoshi," Tomoyo said. (Nakayoshi means "very good friends", and it was the name of the magazine in which CCS was published monthly. ^_^) Kero suddenly said, "Look! A rainbow!" The girls happily looked at it. "Now I think I'll get some sleep.." Kero said. "Une, oyasumi Kero-chan," Sakura replied. "I'm sorry for today, Tomoyo-chan." "No, I've got even better tape than I would have gotten had we went to the park," Tomoyo replied, patting the video camera. Suddenly there was a scream from him. "Sakura! Big trouble!" Sakura and Tomoyo ran out to the living room. "Hoe!" The room was totally wracked. They found all the rooms in a state of ruin. "That means..... we have to clean all over again.." Sakura numbly said. "I'll help," Tomoyo said. Sakura and Kero hugged Tomoyo, crying as they said, "Tomoyo-chan! Thank you!" Fujitaka and Touya returned. They found Sakura sleeping. "Thank you for doing all the chores today. I've bought a cake, so let's eat it later," Fujitaka said. "If you don't write your name on it I"ll eat it all," Touya said. "Mm... I'm sure I wrote my name on it this time..." Sakura mumbled in her sleep. She turned over, smiling. <Kero-chan ni Omakase!> Konyanyachiwa! Didya all brush yer teeth?
