Episode 62: Sakura to Fushigina Omikuji
It was Kinomoto residence.  Sakura was showing her cloth to Kero.  "Wow, you look really good," Kero said.  "Thank you," Sakura happily said.  "But somehow, Sakura with a kimono doesn't see like Sakura..." "But?! What do you mean by that?!" Sakura cried.   "Oh, um, I didn't mean much by that.." Kero said, sensing a danger approaching.  "Fine, I won't ask Father for additional food for you." "Huh?! That's too much! I wuz just kidding! Sakura in kinomoto is 100 times cuter! Forgive me, Sakura-sama?" Sakura opened one of her eyes.  "Does is really look good?" "Of course! Nothin's cuter than you!" Kero cried.  "That's good enough," Sakura said, smiling.  "I"ll bring some food back later." "Great, I can't wait to eat the new year's cakes.." Kero happily said.

"Happy New Year," Sakura said, coming downstairs to face Touya.  "Happy New Year.  What is it?" He asked, looking at Sakura's alert expression.  "You were going to say my kinomo doesn't look good, weren't you!" Sakura said.  "No, it looks good," Touya emotionally said.  "Huh?" "For a monster anyway." "WHAT?!" Sakura yelled, stomping to him.  "Ah, New Year's monster wants some food?" "I'm not a monster!" Fujitaka entered with letters.  "Happy New Year, Touya-kun, Sakura-san," He said, handing them the letters.  Sakura and Touya also greeted him for the new year.  "Sakura-san, is your obi comfortable?" Fujitaka asked.  "Yes, I"m fine," Sakura replied.  "Will you wait a while for me? I am going to finish some work," Fujitaka said.  "When I"m done, let's go together to the festival." "Sure!' Sakura happiliy sat, sitting down next to Touya to read her letters.  "I wonder what everyone sent me!" She found Naoko's letter.  "Naoko-chan's card has a picture." It had a picture of dragon holding ball containing Naoko's head. (It was a good drawing!) "Rika-chan's card is so pretty!" Sakura said, flipping to the next card.  It had pink flowers in it.  "Oh, Yamazaki-kun's  card!" Sakura said, going on to the next card.  It had a picture of dragon with a face that looked remarkably similar to his face.  "In China, they celebrage with a big dragon, but it's so big that they have to prepare it for 1 year and 1 day.  So that's how it is!" Sakura said, going to the next card.  "Yamazaki-kun's card is full of lies, so be careful.  Chiharu-chan." There was a picture of Chiharu lecturing Takashi.  "Lies? Really?" Sakura wondered.  "Tomoyo-chan's card!" It had a picture of Tomoyo taking a video camera picture of Sakura.  "The words are so prettily written," Sakura said.  She turned a page.  "Ah! It's Shaoran-kun's card!" She smiled.  Shaoran had a horrible handwriting, awkwardly filling up the whole card with characters drawn in black ink.  "Is is from that brat from Hong Kong?" Touya asked, making a face.  "He's not a brat! He's Li Shaoran-kun!" "He's a brat." "Shaoran-kun is a very sweet person!" Sakura protested.  "We had our disagreements, but now he's really helpful and kind!" "That's why I don't like him," Touya said, leaning back against the sofa.  "Hoe? Did you say something?" "Yeah, don't eat the cards by mistake, monter." Sakuar was about to yell at him when Fujitaka came in.  "Let's go now."  "Yeah, hurry up, monster," Touya added.  "!!!"
"What wishes for the New Year do you plan to make, Sakura-san?" Fujitaka asked.  "I wish Father luck with his excavation, for me to be able to wake up on time, to be better at sports and baton, and..." "You gonna make wishes all day?" Touya cut in.  They reached the Moon Temple.  After a while, Sakura asked if Yukito really said he was coming.  Touya replied in affirmitive.  "It's rare for Tsukishiro-kun to break his promise, isn't it," Fujitaka said.  "I'll go check on Yukito's house.  You guys go back home if I"m late, okay?" "Say hi to Tsukishiro-kun for me," Fujitaka  told Touya.  Touya nodded and left.  'He doesn't leave for school with us, either... I wonder if anything's wrong?' Sakura worried.
"Oh, Tomoyo-chan!" Sakura noticed.  Tomoyo noticed her, too.  "Sakura-chan!" "Sakura?! Where, where?! Ah! Sakura-chan!" Sonomi cried, looking remarkably like Tomoyo when she's in her hyper mode.  She looked up and made face.  "Oh, Fujitaka Sensei." They all make their wish.  "Please take care of me next year too, Tomoyo-chan!" Sakura said.  "Please take care of me, too," Tomoyo replied, smiling.  "So allow me to video tape you!" Sakura sweat dropped.
"Grandfather said he was glad that he was able to talk to you," Sonomi said.  "Me too.  Thank you." Fujitaka said, smiling.  "I only brought the present.  No need to thank me," Sonomi curtly said.  "But you asked him to talk to me as well," Fujitaka said.  "H, how?!" Sonomi asked.  ""Grandfather told me when me met." Fujitaka told her.  "Geez, and I told him to keep it a secret..." Sonomi said, blushing.  "Oh, I've brought camera! Let me take their pictures!'  She ran off, as Fujitaka smiled after her.  "Sakura-chan! Tomoyo! Come over here so I can take your pictures!" "Okay!" The two replied, running to her.  Sonomi took their pictures.  "I was so nervous!" Sakura said, as they walked off.  ""It'll be a great picture, because mother always take good picture," Tomoyo replied.  "And because Sakura-chan is always so cute, there's no problem!" Sakura blushed.
Sonomi looked at her watch.  "Oh, already?! I have to go back to the company... We have a deadline to meet.  But come over and play sometime, Sakura-chan! Ne, ne?" "Okay!" Sakura happily replied.  "I'll go cook something for tonight as well," Fujitaka said.  "I'll help," Sakura said.  Fujitaka smiled.  "You just have fun in here." "But you definately have to come play at our house!" Sonomi added.  "Yes ma'am!" Sakura turned to Tomoyo.  "Shall we go get some fortunes?" "Sure," Tomoyo replied.
'Excuse me, we would like some fortunes, please," Sakura told the priest watching the fortune box.  "Yes, right away," The rather small priest said, turning around.  "Eriol-kun!" "I"m filling in for the priestess," Eriol said, smiling.  "Mizuki Sensei is in the school of England right now," Tomoyo said.  "You surprise me.  Do you know the priests of this place?" Eriol mysterious smiled. "Only one." "Hoe?" Eriol changed the topic, bringing out the wooden sticks.  "Well, please pick your fortune."  "I got number 70," Sakura said.  "I got number 42," Tomoyo said.  "Please wait," Eriol said, turning around to get the fortunes. He paused at number 70.  With a smile crossing his face, he placed his hand over it.  The fortune glowed strangely....
"Thank you for waiting," Eriol said, bringing the fortunes.  Tomoyo gave a small shriek.  "What is it?" Sakura asked.  "I got a good fortne! It says I'll have lots of luck! Which means.... my dream of my own show featuring Sakura-chan will come true!" She turned shiny.  "What...what kind of show?" Sakura asked, sweat dropping.  "What fortune did Sakura-chan get?" Tomoyo asked, evading the answer.  "Ah..yes.  Huh?" She frowned at her fortune.  "The truth is in the dream."  "Mysterious fortune, isn't it?" Tomoyo said, glancing at it.  Eriol asked if anything is wrong.  Sakura said her fortune was weird.  "That fortune is very special," Eriol said.  "Special?" Sakura walked off, staring at the fortune paper.  "Within my dream.... I wonder what it means..." Eriol smiled, narrowing his eyes.  "That fortune was made especially for you, Sakura-san... tonight, in your dreams, we shall meet."

"Yuki!" Touya cried, looking around.  He found Yukito on the floor.  "Yuki! Yuki!" He said, shaking him.  "Touya.." He said, looking up.  "What happened?!" "I feel so sleepy... but what are you doing here?" Yukito asked.  "What?! You're the one who asked us to go to the festival together.  We were waiting." "Ah, if we go now, we may be able to catch up.." Yukito attempted to stand up, but collapsed back to Touya's arms.  "Yuki!" "I'm sorry... I"m really.. sleepy...." Yukito closed his eyes.  Touya, with eyes full of pain and worries, stared at Yukito's transparent hand.  "Yuki..." He held him tightly.
Shaoran was making peach-shaped rice cakes.  The doorbell rung.  He looked up from painting the peaches pink and green with food coloring.  ""I wonder who it is?" Wei asked, putting his tray of food down.  "I'll go and see," Shaoran said, going to the door.  "Yes... HUH?!" He backed off, blushing.  "H..how come?!" "Happy New Years!" Sakura and Tomoyo brightly said.  "Ah... but why?" Shaoran asked, turning away and blushing even more deeply.  "We were at the festival with our parents and we were on our way home, but Tomoyo-chan said we should stop by Shaoran-kun's place and greet you for the New Year," Sakura said, smiling.  "Well, well, cute guests, aren't they." Wei said, looming over them.  Shaoran blushed a deeper shade of scarlet and his hair turned remarkably like porcupine.  "Wei-san! Happy New Year!" The girls said.  "Thank you very much for stopping by.  Happy New Year to you, too!" Wei replied, smiling(This guy reminds me of Clow...).  "Please come in! I'll get the tea ready," Sakura looked worried.  "Aren't we bothering you?" "It's not a trouble at all, right, Shaoran-sama?" Wei turned to Shaoran.  Shaoran nodded, blushing.  "I'm sorry for traspassing," Sakura said, stepping into his house.  "There is a delicious smell in here!" Tomoyo said.  "Really," Sakura replied.  "Um," Shaoran said as Tomoyo was passing by.  "Yes?" "Thank you." "Sure," Tomoyo said, slyly smiling.  He wiped his perspitation off.
Wei was pouring the tea out for the children.  "This is so cute and well made!" Sakura said, picking up a peach rice cake.  She took a bite.  "Oishii!" Tomoyo took a bite, too.  "Really! Did Wei-san made it?" Wei smiled.  "No, Shaoran-sama did." "Hoe..." Sakura turned to Shaoran with a cute smile.  "I knew Shaoran-kun was a good cook after all!" "Huh? Sakura-san?" Wei asked, startled.  "Hoe?" Sakura asked.  "Oh, it's nothing.... it's just that the name you've just called Shaoran-sama is only used by his family."(But in China, you call someone by their first name, don't you? ^_^  Especially if you're still young, like Shaoran. ) Shaoran blushed even more brightly, if that's at all possible.  His expression changed to that of Touya's.  "Hoe? So that's how it was..." She smiled at Shaoran.  "Please take care of me, Shaoran-kun!" "S, sure..." Shaoran replied.(Hm... ^_^)
"The food yer father made is really good! These are good, too!" Kero said, swallowing a peach cake whole.  His head turned into the peach cake's shape.  "Having Yukito-san with us would have been the best," Sakura said, changing into her pajamas.  "Wuz wrong with the Snow Rabbit?" Kero asked.  "He was supposed to meet up with us today, but he couldn't make it.  But he'll be here tomorrow! He said he was really sorry about today." 'Sakura's magic is stronger, yet Yue can not be sustained.  I can create by own magic, but Yue needs a source to feed on.  If this goes on, Snow Rabbit will...' "Kero-chan.  Kero-chan?" Kero looked up from his thoughts, startled.  "Ah, really? Tomorrow? That's great, huh?" Sakura took her fortune out, sitting on the bed.  "That's yer fortune?" Kero asked.  "Lemme see.  Hm, it's a little strange..." "yes, I don't know what it means..." Sakura replied, staring at it.  "But it's from that lady's place, right? But then again, she's not there anymore..."  Kero flew to the light switch.  "Anyway, the only way we'll know is by trying it out, right?" "Yes, good night," Sakura said, getting into the bed.
The fortune strangely glows as Sakura sleeps. Sakura Book came out from the drawer and opened.  The card on top of the deck came out, glowing in front of Sakura.  Sakura falls into a black, empty space... falling... to where...? Her feet touches the ground... she blankly looks up.... "Sakura-san.  Sakura-san?" A key was presented to her.... "Here." Sakura stretched her hands out.  "The key that holdth the powers of the stars within... reveal the truthful form of thyself in front of this one... as the convenant hath binded, Sakura commands thee... release..." She stared at the card in front of her, waiting to be changed.  "Dream...?" "The truth is within thy dream...." A voice said.  "I have to go back..." Sakura lifted her wand.  " Card that hath been created by Clow... discard thine old form and be reborn... as Sakura, thy mistress, orders thee... Dream..." She looked down.  "I'm flying..." She saw all parts of Tomoeda until she came across... "The Tsukimi Shrine.  Huh?" A dark light came forth from the shrine, covering up everything.  "The Sun is... the Moon is getting covered up.... Who?" A dark shadow of a tall, long haired person and lion-like creature.... "Who is that...?" "From now on, I shall be fighting against you... but... you'll be... "absolutely all right"." "I know.... I've met that person before..." Sakura said, reaching out to the person in long robe....
"Sakura.  Sakura! Wuz wrong? Hey!" Sakura opened her eyes. "Ya awake? Didya see somethin' bad?!" Sakura smiled.  "Ah, I"m okay... It was just a weird dream.  Thank you for worrying about me." "Ah, well, it wasn't much trouble and.." Kero said, blushing and smiling proudly as he backed off. He tripped and fell over.  "What the hell's this?"  Sakura took the lumpy object lying on her lap out.  "That's star wand, ain't it?" Kero asked.  "Why...?" "That's not it! Look at yer left hand!'" Sakura looked at her hand.  "A Clow Card?" "No, it changed into its new form!" Sakura stared at the card.  'Dream... then that last dream was..." "If you were shown "Dream", then that wasn't just a dream! What kind of dream wuz it?" Kero asked.  "Hm.... it started... I was flying and I was able to see the whole town.  Then I saw the Tsukimi Shrine and suddenly the sky was covered over.  The Sun and the Moon were hiding behind the darkness, and it became dark like a nighttime.  And on the arch, there were people on top." "What kind of people?" Kero asked, concerned.  "It was dark, so I couldn't recognize their faces.  But... there was a long haired perosn, and a lion of some kind.." "That's like me and Yue, ain't it?" "And, there was someone in a long cape... I got the feeling I knew him but.. but... I don't understand...." Sakura looked confused.  "I know it wasn't just a dream.  I don't know that dude, but ya said ya recognized him... Sakura, in the dream, did you see anythin' scary?" Sakura shook her head.  "No..." "All right, then don't worry about it! Ya got the most powerful spell, right?!" "It'll be surely all right..." Sakura looked up.  "That's right! Ya've got that spell!" Sakrua smiled.  "Yeah!" She wondered, " I wonder if I'll ever meet those people in my dream.  At the shrine.."  "Only time will tell, right?" Kero said.  The view focuses on Dream Card, then it fades out.
