| Sakura to Yukito to Kieyuku Chikara Sakura was skating home when her stomach growled. "I guess I"m hungry..." She said, fishing out a nikuman from the bag of groceries she was holding. "I'll have to apologize to Kero-chan for eating without him. Itadakimasu!" She took a bite. "It's good!" She suddenly heard a voice. "I know.." "Hoe?" Sakura edged closer. "I know all about it. The truth." "Oniichan's voiec?" "So, there is no more needto hid it." Sakura turned a corner. "Oniichan and Yukito-san!" She said, surprised. "What you really are..." Yukito started to back off, looking scared. Touya grabbed his arm. "Oniichan! You shouldn't be mean to Yukito-san!" Sakura cried out, running up to them. "Sakura?" "Sakura-chan?" Touya and Yukito asked, surprised. "Cut!" A voice suddenly cried out. "Hoe?" Sakura looked around. Highschool students with video cameras. "Hoeee! What's going on?!" She asked, panicking. "We're making a movie," Touya explained. "A movie..." "I'ts for the cultural festival at our school," Yukito added. Sakura apologized for interrupting. Nakuru suddenly asked, "Ne, Sakura-chan. Would you like to be in the movie?" "Yes," Sakura replied without thinking. Sakura and Touya suddenly cried out at the same time, "Hoeeee!!!" <Episode 65: Sakura, Yukito, and the disappearing power> "A movie?!" Tomoyo repeated. "Yeah... Oniichan's class is doing it for cultural festival." Tomoyo cried out, "This is Sakura-chan's debut into the world of movies!" "It's only a small part," Sakura told her before she got too excited. "It's too much for me, but Akizuki-san and the class insisted." "You'll be just fine," Tomoyo told her. "How about the custom?" "They didn't decide yet," Sakura said. Tomoyo, disappointed, said, "Is that so.." She suddenly grabbed Sakura's hand, with tears in her eyes. She despeartely asked, "Do you think they'll let me help with it?!" "I...will ask," Sakura said, sweat dropping. "Thank you! And how about the story line?" Tomoyo asked, looking somewhat pacified. Sakura rumaged around her bookbag and came up with the script. "Meitan te Saigo no Jiken(End of the Quest)". Is it a mystery?" Tomoyo asked. "Yes, it's set in the past, around Taisho era. Oniichan's the hero, Yukito-san is the villain, and I'm Yukito-san's little sister," Sakrua explained. "But if it's Taisho era, finding the set must be hard," Tomoyo said. "Yeah.. they're looking around, but they don't have much luck yet," Sakura told her. "What kind of house are they looking for?" Tomoyo asked. "A large one with a yard and balcony..." Eriol, hiding behind the school, smiled. "This can be good. I'll have to make the arrangements..." Sakura sat down on the sofa. "But you surprised me. You didn't say anything about movie." Sakura commented. "Touya probably didn't want you to know about it," Yukito said. "Why?" Sakura asked, curious. "More tea," Touya cut in. "OK," Sakura replied. She lifted up the kettle, but found it was empty. "It's empty.. I"ll get some more," Sakura left the room. "Smooth move," Yukito said, smiling. "Shut up." Yukito rubbed his eyes. "What is it?" Touya asked. "I'm just tired." Immediately a look of concern passed through Touya's face. "It's OK. I'm always tired after tea," Yukito said, smiling. "Yuki. Things can't go on like this," Touya said, concerned look remaining on his face. "I know that..you..." "Here!" Sakura said, brining the tea. "Ah, Sakura-chan. May I have some tea as well?" Yukito asked, as Touya sweat dropped. "I'll go get some cake," Touya said, giving up the thought of having a talk with Yukito. Suddenly, Sakura noticed Yukito's shoulders were transparent. "Something wrong?" Yukito asked. "No.." Sakura replied. 'I must be imagining things...' She told herself. It was night. "You'll really let me use this place?!" Nakuru squealed. "Yes," Eriol said, smiling. "I thought you'd say no! So I didin't ask!" Nakuru cried, jumping up to Eriol's lap and hugging him. "Consider it as a gift for you, Ruby Moon," Eriol said. "Ah! Arigato!" He cried, rubbing his cheek against Eriol's. "I thought you were more suited to acting," Suppi commented. "But director's job is the best! It's fun bossing around everyone!" Nakuru said. "I see," Suppi said, sighing. "Everyone-will-be-so-happy~!" Nakuru happily sang, jumping around the room. "I'll be right back!" He left the room. "Sorry Spinel. You'll have to stay hidden," Eriol said, turning to Suppi. "It can't be helped, can it?" Suppi said. "But are you sure it'll be OK? The new card mistress may find out about your secrets." Eriol smiled. "It's all right, as long as we're careful. Sakura-san can be quite naive at times..." Eriol stood up and walked over to the fire place. "However, her brother is not so..." "He's very strong," Suppi agreed. "I have a use for him." The fire leaping up from the fireplace lighted up his glasses, giving the impression that Eriol's eyes were filled with flames. He smiled. "As well as Yue's other form." Nakuru was happily bossing everyone around. "Hey! Move it here, hurry up! Are the props ready? There, keep that up!" "Hello. Are you an actor too?" Eriol asked Shaoran, who was absent-mindly gazing at everyone. "Ah, n, no. I shouldn't be here, b, but Daidouji said..." "To cheer Sakura-san on?" Eriol supplied. Shaoran nodded, embarassed. "But Sakura-san should be in traditional clothes, right?" "Guess so..." Shaoran replied. "Then she would look very cute, wouldn't she?" Brightly blushing, Shaoran stammered, "I..." "How cute! It looks so nice!" Squealing of the girls broke their conversation. Shaoran turned his eyes towards the voices and noticed Sakura. He froze. Sakura, looking breath-takingly cute, was blushing, surrounded by admiring highschool girls. Nakuru lunged forward. "Sakura-chan! How cute! I knew you'd be perfect! Thank you for consenting to be in our movie!" He squealed, rubbing his cheeks against hers. "I'll do my best," Sakura said, embarassed but pleased. "It looks nice," Eriol said. "Really?" Sakura asked smiling. She turned her gaze to Shaoran. He sweat dropped, then turned around, blushing. "This is your debutting scene, right?" Tomoyo asked. "Yes, I do this scene and another one later on. But this is such a beautiful house!" Sakura said, looking up to the house. "It look like it should be in a movie!" "Thank you very much," Eriol said. "So, three of you live here?" Tomoyo asked. "Yes," Eriol replied. "I wonder who lived here before," Sakura wondered. "Three foreigners, just like us," Eriol said. Touya and Yukito watched as Shaoran edged closer and closer to Sakura and Eriol, attempting to break them apart. "Sakura-chan looks cute, doens't she?" Yukito asked. Touya just glared. "What is it?" Yukito asked. Touya continued to glare at Eriol with rather displeased expression as he replied, "Nothing." "Touya! Tsukishiro-san! We need you!" Nakuru called out. "Yes!' Yukito replied. Touya turned his eyes away from Eriol. Eriol turned to look at Touya. He smiled. "What did I do in this scene again?" A guy asked Nakuru. "Geez, weren't you listening? Listen this time!" Nakuru scolded. Sakura was trembling. "Clam down, relax," Tomoyo said. "Relax?" Sakura repeated. "Shall I brush your hair?" Tomoyo offered. "Yeah..." "Please sit here," Eriol said, offering her the armchair he always sat on. "Thank you.." She froze. 'I feel Clow's aura from this chair!' "What is it?" Eriol asked. "Oh, nothing..." Sakura replied. "It's a very nice chair." "I had it for a long time," Eriol said. "Really?" Sakura replied. "Sakura-chan! We need you now!" Nakuru hollered. "Yes!" Sakura replied, freezing automatically. "My, Sakura-chan's right arm and leg go out at the same time," Tomoyo commented. Yukito rubbed his eyes. "Yuki?" Touya asked. "I'm just very tired... Strange, isn't it. And I slept so early yesterday, too..." Touya's pained expression didn't escape Eriol, who was watching them from a corner. Eriol smiled. <CM Break-- Eriol Card!> "OK! It's finished!" Nakuru said. "Sakura-chan, you were very cute!" "Really?" Sakura asked, blushing. "Yup. OK, next scene!" Sakura came outside, stretching. "All done?" Eriol asked. "That was the last scene that you had to do, right?" Shaoran added. "Yeah, I was awful," Sakura replied. "No, you were great! And I was able to film "The Making of Sakura-chan's First Movie", too! I'm so happy!" Tomoyo said, going into a hyper mode. "T, Tomoyo-chan.. were you filming the entire time..." Sakura said, sweat dropping. "Everyone's done aftert the veranda scene, right?" Eriol asked. "Yes," Sakura replied. Nakuru was giving out orders. "Any questions?" "No," "Nope," Yukito and Touya replied. "All right!" Nakuru cried, hugging Touya. "Stop it!" Touya scolded. "But I'm so excited!" Nakuru protested. "I leave this all up to you! Everything all right?" "Yes," The guys around them said. "Then.. action!" "They're starting," Tomoyo said. "Yeah...." Eriol smiled. "I know who the criminal is now," Touya said. "Who was it?" Yukito asked, his back to Touya as he gazed out at the veranda. "Perfect..." Nakuru said. "I know all about it! You..." Touya started. "That's it..." Nakuru's eyes narrowed as he smiled. Yukito suddenly grew transparent, then stumbled. "Yuki... Yuki!" Yukito fell off the veranda. "Yukito-san!" Sakura screamed. Touya grabbed his hand. "Yuki! Yuki!!!" "Sakura-chan," Tomoyo said, turning to Sakura. "Right!" Sakura went behind the bush and released her key. "Windy!" "Open your eyes! Yuki!" Yukito's hand started to be transparent. "Yuki!" His hand slipped out of Touya's. "YUKI!!!" Windy caught him and gently placed him on the ground. Touya jumped down from the veranda and ran over to him. "We should take him to the house," A voice said. "Omae..." Touya growled, looking up at Eriol. Eriol smiled. "We should hurry." Yukito opened his eyes and looked up at Touya. "Touya.... I supposed I fell asleep again." "Something like that," Touya replied. "So..tired..." "Yuki... you can't go on like this! You'll disappear at this rate and I won't let that happen!" Touya cried. "Why should I disappear?" Yukito asked, closing his eyes. "I konw all about it! When you start losing memories... you..." Suddenly Nakuru entered. "Tsukishiro-kun! Are you all right?!" He asked, leaning over Yukito. "Yes," Yukito replied. "You're not hurt anywhere?" "It's all right..." "Then we should finish that scene!" Nakuru happily said. Touya, looking pissed like crazy, kicked him out. "I have something to discuss with Yukito, so keep your butt outta here!" He snapped, slamming the door. "'Kay..." He meekly said. Nakuru started to pace around. "I guess you annoyed him way too much...." A voice said, amused. "Argh! I won't become Touya's most beloved at this rate!" Nakuru complained to Suppi. "Too bad, he wants it that way." "I won't allow it!" Nakuru declared. "You're really hopeless," Suppi said. "But, Eriol would get mad too. Sakura's side will get power up!" Nakuru protested. "He won't be too upset. He might actually be glad about it," Suppi mused. Touya sat down next to Yukito on the bed. "Yuki... I know that... you..." "We did that scene already," Yukito said, smiling. "Just listen!" Touya snapped. He gently held Yukito's face in his hands. "I know... that you're not a human. So you have no reason to hide it from me..." Yukito stared at him, startled. He suddenly closed his eyes, turning to Yue. "So we've finally met. Your name is?" "Yue.." Yue replied. "Yukito wanted to tell you. About himself and myself. That's why I came." He walked over to Touya. "You said you won't let us disappear. Do you konw what you have to do?" "I know," Touya said, smiling. "You can have my strength. All of it." "You won't be able to see your mother any more," Yue warned him. "It's not fair that only I can see her, either," Touya said. "But without my powers... I won't be able to protect Sakura. So will you do that for me?" Yue looked slightly pissed. "There's no need to ask. I'll protect her anyway. So it's a deal then, huh?" Touya suddenly started to laugh. Yue stared at him, confused. "You two aren't so different after all...." He said. He closed his eyes. Yue leaned forward, taking Touya's powers. With bright burst of light, Touya fainted out. "My powers returned..." Yue said, gazing at his hand. "Thank you for your help...." Yue suddenly turned around and opened the door. Sakura was there, crying. "You've heard," Yue said, surprised. "I'm sorry.. I wasn't strong enought, so Yue and Yukito-san were disappearing.... and Oniichan will never have his powers back... I'm so sorry...!" Yue looked sad. "It took almost all of Clow Reed's magic to create and maintain the cards. To think a child like you have done the same...." He said, leaning down. "But..!" Yue wiped her tears away. "It'll hurt him deeply if you were sad. I promised him that I'd protect you. So don't cry..." Sakura smiled. "Right..." She walked over to Touya. "Oniichan.... I'm sorry. If you need my help, I'll always run to you.. I'll protect you...!" Eriol was looking at them from outside, smiling. "This aura!" Sakura cried. "Clow!" Yue said, running towards the window. Sakura slid the curtains aside. there was no one. "There's no one..." Sakura said. "The aura is gone as well," Yue said. Eriol smiled from top of the roof. "Yue's powers returned. And Sakura became even stronger.... Things are coming to head. Yet I'll have to hurry.." 'So that's what happened... And your brother...?" Tomoyo asked. "Still asleep. His classmates said they'd send him home when he wakes up," Sakura said. "Besides, Yukito-san is watching over him, so it's all right..." She reached her home. "Thank you for today. See you tomorrow." "See you tomorrow," Tomoyo replied. "Later," Shaoran said, waving. Sakura went back to her house, looking depressed. Shaoran and Tomoyo stopped waving, and turned to look at each other. Kero was playing a racing game. "O...o...o... okaeri! And how wuz the filmin'!" He cried. "Oniichan knew..." Sakura said dejectedly. "Eh?!" He asked, continuing on with his game. "About Kero-chan and Yukito-san and Yue-san..." "EHHHHH?!!!" He screamed. The car in the game crashed. 'I see... so Touya Oniichan has no magic now..." Kero said. "Did you know? That I wasn't strong enought, so Yue and Yukito-san would disappear..." "I knew." "Why didn't you tell me!" Sakura cried. "Because ther wuz nothin' you could've done. It wuz all you could do to fight and change the cards. There wuz nothin' you could have done even if you knew." "So I'm not good enough to protect you guys..." Sakura said. "That ain't what I meant! We worry about you, because you're our nakayoshi! There can be no one better than you!" Kero protested. Sakura managed a weak smile. "Thank you..." "Of course!" Kero triumply said. "You know, Kero-chan." She walked over to her window and gazed out at the night sky. "Today, I thought I'd lose my beloved person. It'll be hard to lose your most precious person." "Sakura.." She looked determined. "And if I lost him, I wouldn't have been able to tell him that I care... I'll tell him how I feel." The camera focused on the night outside, then the scene faded out... <To Be Continued> Summary by Wing Zero on Sept. of 2001. CCS by CLAMP. |
