Album #1!

I don't have many pictures of myself as a child, due to the fact that the upstairs of my house burnt down and scorched all of my baby pics to char. I also don't have many pics of myself as a young boy, mostly due to the fact that i wasn't very photogenic and tended to rip up those i didn't like (the majority of them = )

But, there were a couple odd pictures that have survived or that looked fairly good enough for me to want to keep...however, since there are so few of them, i can't put them into their own seperate albums...and so for the meantime, i'll stick them in here...my very 1st Album.

Preppie!

This was a school photo taken of me when i was in the 3rd grade at Sts. Peter and Paul prep school.

Reflections: "Hmm...i haven't changed that much since i was a kid...same big eyes...button nose...and Bad Hair!"

Baptism

I don't know how i did it, but i managed to fool the Pastor into believing i was ready to be baptized!, so here i am at my baptismal service, flanked by my cousins, Chris and Jason, and with my good pal Leighton on the far right.

Reflections: "I was the only person who forgot to bring a white shirt and tie, so i covered it up by slipping on my jacket = )"

Deaf Leppards.

At the time, both Paul and I led the "Worship Team" for our Sunday School, here we are torturing the audience for our Church's Christmas party.

Reflections: "I no longer play the Guitar, but Paul went on to graduate from music school, where he still tortures people, but now he gets paid to do it...he calls 'em Gigs = )"

Bill & Ted's excellent gospel service

This was a Skit, where Paul and i played "Bill and Ted", raising money for our church by playing music...kinda kooky eh?...well, whaddya expect?...at the time our favourite shows were "Bill & Ted" and the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles"

Reflections: "Who was i again?...Bill?...or was it Ted?...i can't seem to remember...Gnarly!"

Frosty the Snow-Pile

I've always wanted to build a snow-man, ever since i was a kid and watched countless Christmas shows on TV, so when the first snow of the year came, i allowed my cousins to drag me outside to try and build one...which we did...quite unsuccesfully as you can see.

Grandpa: "Has any one seen my Cap?...i can't find it anywhere!"

Grandma: "Oh dear, i thought i had some carrots in the fridge...oh well, i guess no dinner tonight then!"

Reflections: "What i didn't know was that you needed "Wet" snow to make a snowman, not "Dry" snow...can you blame me for not knowing the difference?"

Man's best friend.

This pic was taken the day before i left for Canada, when i posed for pictures with all my friends and family...pets included.

Reflections: ""Fatty" is my brother's puppy, but i love her and treat her as my own. She's a Poodle-Terrier mix, though we suspect that she's also part Pig...she just loves to roll around in the Mud!..."

Me and my Pooch.

Here's another pic of me and my loveable pooch "Fatty".

My Thoughts: "I had originally tried to take a picture with our other dog "Renee", who's so dirty and dishevelled that she looks like a rasta and smells just as bad, but she kept running off"

Iaido Practice.

My love of Japanese Swords led me to "Nippon Budoin Seibukan dojo", where i learnt the "Musojikiden Eishin Ryu" style of Sword-fighting.

Reflections: "When i practice indoors, i have to use my "Bokken" (Wooden-Sword), instead of my "Shinken" (Real Sword). I've been known to cut up the furniture by accident now and then = ).

Night Skiing...err..SnowBoarding

This pic was taken at the Horse-shoe Valley Ski Resort.

Reflections: "Snowboarding in daylight is tough enough, but try it at night for the ultimate pucker factor!"

Frozen Family

My Uncle Barry and my Aunt Grace pose with me for this pic.

Reflections: "My uncle is a far better skier than i am...why he even challenged a pine tree head on...and Won! = )"

Bad Boys

My cousin, Simon, and I pose for this pic from the back of our uncle's pickup at a friend's private beach.

Reflections: "That's me in the pic, sans shirt...scrawny wasn't i?"

Beach Boys

The King of Jokers join the guys for a group pic. from left to right are...

Jeff, Simon, Greg, Uncle William, and Benji.

Reflections: "*Sigh*, I really miss those days...when our big happy, extended family of friends gathered together and went on outings every weekend."

Cute Kitty

Gotcha!, I used to love playing with kittens

Reflections: "My love of Cats began at an early Age...i still prefer a cute and cuddly kitty over a slobbery dog anyday."

Cute Kid

I'm glad i was able to get this photo from my Grandma in Hong Kong, it's one of the very few taken of me at that age.

Reflections: "Ugh, i can't believe my mom dressed me all in red and let me go out in public like that...no wonder i can't wear anything red today = )"
