Esther (Ester) Chapter 2 (Continued)

Ester 2:15 Now when the turn came for Ester the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her as his daughter, to go in to the king, she requested nothing but what Hegai the king's eunuch, the custodian of the women, advised. And Ester obtained favor in the sight of all who saw her.

Just as Hegai gave gifts to Ester, so Ruach HaKodesh gives gifts to the Bride of Yeshua.

1 Corinthians 12:7-11;27-31 "Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and He gives them to each one, just as He determines. Now you are the body of Messiah, and each one of you is a part of it. And in the synagogue/church G-d has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? But eagerly desire the greater gifts. And now I will show you the most excellent way."

This is more evidence of HaShem watching over Ester.

Ester 2:16 So Ester was taken to King Ahasuerus, into his Royal Palace, in the tenth month, which is the month of Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign.

Royal Palace - King’s HOUSE, This also fits the meaning of the second letter of the Aleph-Bet.

Time has passed since Vashti was disposed. This is 4 years later.

Tebeth - This is the month that spans the December - January time frame.

Ester was taken into the presence of the king. The Bride of Yeshua will be taken in to the presence of the King of the Universe at the rapture.

Ester 2:17 The king loved Ester more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.

Just as Ester was chosen, the Bride of Yeshua has been chosen.

G-d placed Ester in a position to help her people even before they faced a problem.

Ester 2:18 Then the king made a great feast, the Feast of Ester, for all his officials and servants; and he proclaimed a holiday in the provinces and gave gifts according to the generosity of a king.

The gifts referred to here are possibly tax relief or release from military service.

There will be a feast, known as the marriage supper of the lamb, when the marriage between Yeshua and His bride takes place.

Rev 19:7-10 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready." And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!' " And he said to me, "These are the true sayings of G-d."

Ester 2:19 When virgins were gathered together a second time, Mordecai sat within the king's gate.

This probably means Mordecai had a position of prominence as a result of Ester being made queen. (Other examples of this are: Lot in Gen 19:1, Boaz went to the gate of the city Ruth 4:1.)

Yeshua also sits in an elevated position of power at the Right Hand of the Father, King of the Universe.

Psalms 110:1 The L-RD said to my Lord, Sit at My right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.

Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Ester 2:20 Now Ester had not revealed her family and her people, just as Mordecai had charged her, for Ester obeyed the command of Mordecai as when she was brought up by him.

Ester kept her identity a secret. The bride of Yeshua has been kept a secret from the world.

Ester 2:21-22 In those days, while Mordecai sat within the king's gate, two of the king's eunuchs, Bigthan and Teresh, doorkeepers, became furious and sought to lay hands on King Ahasuerus. So the matter became known to Mordecai, who told Queen Ester, and Ester informed the king in Mordecai's name.

Bigthan - means “gift of G-d”

Teresh - means “solid”

They represent the two natures of mankind: the spiritual nature and the earthly. The first four commandments where given to govern our relationship with G-d. The last six of the Ten Commandments where given to govern our relationship with our fellow man.

Ester 2:23 And when an inquiry was made into the matter, it was confirmed, and both were hanged on a gallows; and it was written in the book of the chronicles in the presence of the king.

Just as Bigthan and Teresh where expected to be faithful to their king, we are expected to be faithful to the King of the Universe.

Exodus 34:14 For you will not worship no other god: for the L-RD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous G-d:

The Persian execution usually was by impalement.
