Yechezk'el (Ezekiel) Chapter 10 (Continued)

Z'kharyah (Zechariah) 12:9-10 "And it will come about in that day that I will set about to destroy all the nations that come against Yerushalayim (Jerusalem). "And I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him, like the bitter weeping over a first-born.

It does not have to take that long for you. Blessed are you if you did not see, and yet believed."

Believing is more than intellectual faith. You can believe Yeshua existed and even died for your sins intellectually but that is not saving faith. What is saving faith? -This is placing our trust that the blood shed through His hands and feet paid the price for our atonement forever.

If you see a chair, you believe that if you sit in it that it will hold you up. Don't you? This is exactly like saving faith. If you believe the chair exists, it doesn't do you any good unless you are sitting in it and trusting that it will hold you up. Now imagine, Yeshua is this chair. You see I believed Yeshua existed but that still was not doing me any good. Not until I placed my trust with my whole heart in Yeshua. Trusting that He died for me to take away my sin and then rose again. This is saving faith. Then we just need to confess it to the Father.

Luke 24:44-47 Now He said to them, "These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moshe (Moses) and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled." Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and He said to them, "Thus it is written, that the Messiah (Christ) should suffer and rise again from the dead the third day; and that repentance for forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Yerushalayim (Jerusalem).

Romans 10:9-11 If you confess with your mouth Yeshua as L-rd, and believe in your heart that G-d raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

Father, Forgive me. I have fallen short of your perfection. I believe this is why your Son came to die for my sins. I trust that His bloodshed for me takes away my sin and that He has risen again. Come into my heart and life today. Thank you for the free gift of eternal life through your Son, Yeshua HaMashiach.

You now have eternal life.

The following passage confirms this truth.

Acts 16:31"Believe in the L-rd Yeshua, and you shall be saved, you and your household."

Yochanan (John) 6:47-48 "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life.

Back to the cherubim:

Yechezk'el 10:15-21 Then the k'ruvim (cherubim) rose upward. These were the living creatures I had seen by the K'var River. When the k'ruvim (cherubim) moved, the wheels beside them moved; and when the k'ruvim (cherubim) spread their wings to rise from the ground, the wheels did not leave their side. When the cherubim stood still, they also stood still; and when the k'ruvim (cherubim) rose, they rose with them, because the spirit of the living creatures was in them. Then the glory of the L-RD departed from over the threshold of the temple and stopped above the k'ruvim (cherubim). While I watched, the k'ruvim (cherubim) spread their wings and rose from the ground, and as they went, the wheels went with them. They stopped at the entrance to the east gate of the L-RD's house, and the glory of the G-d of Israel was above them. These were the living creatures I had seen beneath the G-d of Israel by the K'var River, and I realized that they were cherubim. Each had four faces and four wings, and under their wings was what looked like the hands of a man.

This is all similar to Chapter One of this study except we see they are by the K'var River.

Yechezk'el 10:22 Their faces had the same appearance as those I had seen by the K'var River. Each one went straight ahead.
