Yechezk'el 19:10-11 'Your mother was like a vine in your vineyard, Planted by the waters; It was fruitful and full of branches because of abundant waters. 'And it had strong branches fit for scepters of rulers, and its height was raised above the clouds so that it was seen in its height with the mass of its branches.
Verses 10-14 covers the second lamentation in the chapter and focuses on Y'hudah.
A vine - this is another reference to Y'hudah.
Strong branches - Y'hudah was strong and powerful.
Yechezk'el 19:12-14 'But it was plucked up in fury; It was cast down to the ground; and the east wind dried up its fruit. Its strong branch was torn off So that it withered; the fire consumed it. 'And now it is planted in the wilderness, in a dry and thirsty land. 'And fire has gone out from its branch; It has consumed its shoots and fruit, So that there is not in it a strong branch, A scepter to rule.'" This is a lamentation, and has become a lamentation.
It was plucked up in fury - Y'hudah was judged because of her sin.
A scepter to rule - this is a reference to King Zedekiah who was responsible for the burning of Yerushalayim.
Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 38:19-23 King Tzidkiyahu (Zedekiah) said to Yirmeyahu, "I am afraid of the Jews who have gone over to the Kasdim (Babylonians), for the Kasdim (Babylonians), may hand me over to them and they will mistreat me." "They will not hand you over," Yirmeyahu replied. "Obey the L-RD by doing what I tell you. Then it will go well with you, and your life will be spared. But if you refuse to surrender, this is what the L-RD has revealed to me: All the women left in the palace of the king of Y'hudah will be brought out to the officials of the king of Bavel (Babylon). Those women will say to you:"` They misled you and overcame you--those trusted friends of yours. Your feet are sunk in the mud; your friends have deserted you.' "All your wives and children will be brought out to the Kasdim (Babylonians). You yourself will not escape from their hands but will be captured by the king of Bavel (Babylon); and this city will be burned down."
The rise and fall and the rise again another day. Israel, the type of Messiah, is destroyed. We know Israel rises again just like the type. Wheels within wheels are again displayed. Again the type is not like the real deal in every way. We know that Yeshua was without sin, but took on our uncleanliness. He becomes an unclean bird for our sake by taking upon himself our transgressions.
2 Corinthians 5:20-21 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Messiah, as though G-d were entreating through us; we beg you on behalf of Messiah, be reconciled to G-d. He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of G-d in Him.
Yeshua is also the lion from the tribe of Y'hudah.
Revelation 5:3-5 But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Y'hudah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals."
