Grace

Here is how it works: it was through one individual (Adam) that sin entered the world, and through sin, death; and in this way death passed through the human race, inasmuch as everyone sinned. Sin was indeed present in the world before Torah was given, but sin is not counted as such when there is not Torah. Nevertheless death ruled from Adam until Moshe, even over those whose sinning was not exactly like Adam's violation of a direct command. In this, Adam prefigured the one who was to come. But the free gift is not like the offense. For if, because of one man's offense, many died, then how more has G-d's grace, that is, the gracious gift of one man, Yeshua the Mashiach, overflowed to many. No, the free gift is not like what resulted from one man's sinning; for from one sinner came judgment that brought condemnation; but the free gift came after many offenses and brought acquittal..... In other words, just as it was through one offence that all people came under condemnation, so also it is through one righteous act that all people come to be considered righteous. And the Torah came into the picture so that the offence would proliferate; but where sin proliferated, grace proliferated even more. All this happened so that just as sin ruled by means of death, so also grace might rule through causing people to be considered righteous, so that they might have eternal life, through Christ Jesus (Yeshua the Mashiach), our L-rd.Romans 5:12-17

Of Course, this is not a righteousness of our own but His righteousness.

So then, are we to say, "let keep on sinning, so that there can be more grace?

No way!

Therefore, do not let sin rule in your mortal bodies, so that it makes you obey its desires; and do not offer any part of yourselves to sin as an instrument for wickedness. On the contrary, offer yourselves to G-d as people alive from the dead, and your various parts to G-d as instruments for righteousness. For sin will not have authority over you; because you are not under legalism but under grace. Therefore, what conclusion should we reach? "Lets go on sinning, because we're not under legalism but under grace"? Heaven forbid! Don't you know that if you present yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, then of the one whom you are obeying, you are slaves- whether of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to being made righteous? By G-d's grace, you who were once salves to sin, obeyed from your heart the pattern of teaching to which you were exposed: and after you had been set free from sin, you become enslaved to righteousness.....which leads to being made holy, set apart for G-d. Romans 6

(This of course does not mean we are perfect. We are all still sinners. Sin will not be taken away until we enter the new kingdom when Yeshua returns.)

You get the benefit- it consists of being made holy, set apart for G-d, and its end result is eternal life. Surely you know, brothers - for I am speaking to those who understand Torah- that the Torah has authority over a person only so long as he lives? Romans 7

For example, a married woman is bound by Torah, to her husband while he is alive; but if the husband dies, she is released from the part of the Torah that deals with husbands. Therefore, while the husband is alive, she will be called an adulteress if she marries another man; but if the husband dies, she is free from that part of the Torah; so that if she marries another man, she is not an adulteress. Thus my brothers, you have been make dead with regard to the Torah through the Mashiach's body, so that you may belong to someone else, namely, the one who has been raised from the dead, in order for us to bear fruit for G-d...For when we were living according to our old nature, the passions connected with sins worked through the Torah in our various parts, with the result that we bore fruit for death. But now we have been released from this aspect of the Torah, because we have died to that which had us in its clutches, so that we are serving in the new way provided by the Spirit and not in the old way of outwardly following the letter of the law. Therefore, what are we to say? That the Torah is sinful? Heaven forbid! Rather, the function of the Torah was the without it, I would not have known what sin is. For example, I would not have become conscious of what geed is if the Torah had not said, "Thou shall not covet." for apart from Torah, sin is dead. I was once alive outside the framework of Torah. But when the commandment really encountered me, sin sprang to life, and I died. The commandment that was intended to bring life was found to be bringing death. For sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, deceived me; and through the commandment, sin killed me. So the Torah is holy; that is, the commandment is holy, just, and good. (Romans 7:2-12)

What the (Mashiach) has freed us for is freedom. Therefore stand firm, and don't let yourselves be tied up again to a yoke of slavery. Mark Paul's words-"If you undergo b'rit-milah the Mashiach will be of no advantage to you at all. Again, I warn you; any man who undergoes b'rit-milah is obligated to observe the entire Torah. You who are trying to be declared righteous by G-d through legalism have severed yourself from the Mashiach. You have fallen away from G-d's grace. For it is by the power of the Spirit, who worked in us because we trust and are faithful, that we confidently expect our hope of attaining righteousness to be filled. When we are united with the Mashiach Yeshua, neither being circumcises nor being uncircumcised matters; what matters is trusting faithfulness expressing itself through love. For, brothers, you were called to be free. Only do not let that freedom become an excuse for allowing your old nature to have its way. Instead, serve one another in love. (Galatians 5:1-6)

For the whole of the Torah is summed up in one sentence: Love you neighbor as yourself. Galatians 5:14

What I am saying is this: run your lives by the Spirit. Then you will not do what your old nature wants. For the old nature wants what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit wants what is contrary to the old nature. These oppose each other, so that you find yourselves unable to carry out your good intentions. But if you are led by the Spirit, then you are not in subjection to the system that results form perverting the Torah into legalism. And it is perfectly evident what the old nature does. It expresses itself in sexual immorality, impurity, and indecency; idol-worship and misuse of drugs in connection with the occult; in feuding, fighting, becoming jealous and getting angry; in selfish ambition, factionalism, intrigue and envy, in drunkenness, orgies and things like these. I warn you now as I have warned you before: those who do such things will not have not share in the Kingdom of G-d. But fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, self control Nothing in the Torah stands against such things. Galatians 5:16-22

Moreover, those who belong to the Christ Jesus (Mashiach Yeshua) have put their old nature to death on the stake, along with its passions and desires. Since it is through the Spirit that we have life, let is also be through the Spirit that we order our lives day by day. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other. Brothers, suppose someone is caught doing wrong. You have the Spirit should set him right, but in a spirit of humility, keeping an eye on yourselves to so that you won't be tempted too. Bear one another's burdens - in this way you will be fulfilling the true meaning, which the Christ (Mashiach) upholds. Galatians 6

Some traditions come from man and not G-d.

Now I myself am convinced, my brothers, that you are full of goodness, filled with knowledge and well able to counsel each other. But on some points I have written quite boldly by way of reminding you about them, because of the grace G-d has given me to be a servant of the Christ Jesus (Mashiach Yeshua) . I have always made it my ambition to proclaim the Good News of the Christ (Mashiach). For if the Gentiles have shared with the Jews in spiritual matters, then the Gentiles clearly have a duty to help the Jews in material matters. Romans 15:15 etc.

Now may the G-d of Shalom be with you all.
