Matthew Chapter 25 (Continued)

Matt 25:24-29 Then he that had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew you that you are an hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed: And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the earth: look, there you have what is yours. His lord answered and said to him, You wicked and slothful servant, You knew that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not scattered seed: You ought therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with interest. Take therefore the talent from him, and give it to him, which has ten talents. For to every one that has will be given, and he will have abundance: but from him that has not will be taken away even that which he has.

To Him much is given, much is required. To have talents and to use them for serving G-d or to use them to expand the kingdom of HaShem will mean you will be given greater responsibilities in the other world. If you are slothful and did not use what you had to give, what you had will be taken away.

If you have lots of money and you squander on things that are unnecessary (even things that are for the place of worship and it is unnecessary), you are held responsible. You may end up with less responsibility and trusted with less from the L-rd. It amazes me sometimes how some can spend huge amounts of money on extravagant buildings or the most expensive things in the buildings. This can be a waste of money and could be used for other more important things, such as sending more Bibles or teachers of the Bible to other countries to learn and grow and expand the Kingdom. Many are in unnecessary debt for these buildings. HaShem want us to be a good Stewarts of our money.

Matt 25:30 And cast you the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth

Those that despise goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering and cling to things of the world will lose it all. (Matt. 6:19)

Rom 2:2-6 And we know that the judgment of G-d rightly falls upon those who practice such things. And do you suppose this, O man, when you pass judgment upon those who practice such things and do the same yourself, that you will escape the judgment of G-d? Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of G-d leads you to repentance? But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of G-d, who will render to every man according to his deeds:

Matt 25:31-33 When the Son of man will come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then will He sit upon the throne of His glory: And before Him will be gathered all NATIONS: and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides His sheep from the goats: And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

This judgment is known as “the Judgment of the Nations”. They are judged how they treated Israel. The word “Nations” should be translated as gentiles (goyim). The individual goyim will be judged according to their loving-kindness toward Israel. Particularly the 144,000 Messianic Jewish believers who have gone through out the world during the tribulation period teach the goyim the good news of Yeshua.

Gen 12:3 And I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curses you: and in you shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Matt 25:34-40 "Then the King will say to those on His right, `Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' "Then the righteous will answer him, `L-rd, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' "The King will reply, `I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

Those that treated Israel correctly are commended. If you treat them incorrectly it is the same as you are treating Him incorrectly.

The Third letter is Gimel - loving-kindness; culmination, as in planting a seed and caring for it until it matures.

Matt 25:41 Then He will say also to them on the left hand, Depart from Me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Gehenna was not meant for man.

No Loving-kindness:

Matt 25:42-46 For I was hungry and you gave Me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite Me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe Me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after Me.' "They also will answer, `L-rd, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?' "He will reply, `I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for Me.' "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."
