Matt 28:7 And go quickly, and tell His disciples that He is RISEN from the dead; and, behold, He goes before you into Galilee; there will you see Him: Now, I have told you.
Go tell them the GOOD NEWS. Yeshua has RISEN from the dead.
David prophesized that the Messiah “Your Holy One “will die but His body would not see corruption.
Psalms 16:10 For You will not leave my soul in sheol (the grave); neither will You suffer Your Holy One to see corruption.
Peter explains David’s prophecy in Acts 2:22-32 as does Paul in Acts 13:35-37.
Matt 28:8-10 And they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy; and did run to bring His disciples word. And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Yeshua (Jesus) met them, saying, REJOICE! And they came and held Him by the feet, and worshipped Him. Then said Yeshua (Jesus) to them, Be not afraid: go tell my brothers that they go into Galilee, and there will they see me.
We are brothers to his humanity.
Rom 8:30 For those G-d foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
Yeshua was the first born, when we are “born again”, accepting Yeshua as our Messiah and His death and resurrection as our atonement, then we are added to this number.
Matt 28:11-15 Now while they were on their way, behold, some of the guard came into the city and reported to the chief priests all that had happened. And when they had assembled with the elders and counseled together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers, and said, "You are to say, 'His disciples came by night and stole Him away while we were asleep.' "And if this should come to the governor's ears, we will win him over and keep you out of trouble." And they took the money and did as they had been instructed; and this story was widely spread among the Jews, and is to this day.
Could the chief priests have been any more corrupt?! They must have felt the earthquake too. Which would have confirmed the story that the Roman soldiers reported. They had EYEWITNESS ACCOUNTS to the resurrection. They KNEW Yeshua had risen from the dead. Didn’t they stop for ONE MINUTE and say, hey maybe we were wrong. NO…they immediately plan a cover up, they pay off the soldiers to say the disciples stole Yeshua’s body. Now the reason they tell the soldiers that they will cover for them if the governor hears about it is that a Roman Soldier would be put to death for sleep while on guard duty.
“This story was widely spread among the Jews, and is to this day” - This lie is still circulating in our day and age.
Matt 28:16-17 Then the eleven talmidim went away into Galilee, to a mountain where Yeshua had designated. And when they saw Him, they WORSHIPPED Him: but some doubted.
Yeshua did not just appear to a few people, Paul tells us that more that 500 saw him at the same time.
1 Corinthians 15:6-8 After that, He appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles, and last of all He appeared to me also, as to one born out of due time.
Matt 28:18 And Yeshua came and spoke to them, saying, ALL POWER is given to Me in HEAVEN and in EARTH.
He would wait for a later generation to start His rule on earth in Jerusalem.
Matt 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit),
We are to teach “ALL NATIONS” the GOOD NEWS. Yeshua has died for mankind and He has claimed victory over death and offers it to all that trust in Him. He offers all that makes us complete and then we are to immerse them.
Col 2:9-13 For in him dwells ALL the FULLNESS of the G-dhead bodily. And you are COMPLETE in Him, which is the head of all principality and power: In whom also you are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Messiah: Buried with Him in immersion (baptism), wherein also you are risen with Him through the “Trust/Faith” of the operation of G-d, who has raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, has He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you ALL trespasses;
Our trespasses no longer separate us from HaShem.
Notice here that Yeshua confirms the Tri-Unity of G-d. There are some who teach that baptism must be in the name of Yeshua only. Guess they missed this verse.
Matt 28:20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

He said He would never leave us or forsake us for eternity. This is His promise.
