Matthew Chapter 7 (Continued)

Matt 7:15-20 "Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. "You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes, nor figs from thistles, are they? "Even so, every good tree bears good fruit; but the bad tree bears bad fruit. "A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. "Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. "So then, you will know them by their fruits.

This describes many, many, individuals who are in religious organizations that claim to be followers of Yeshua but are not. Many of these people may hate the Jewish people. What does that tell us? We are in a constant struggle and spiritual battle with these wolves. They are “WOLVES IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING”. Yeshua warned us that they would come along and they have. Does that make Yeshua the bad guy? They are not His followers. They only pretend to be. Why not look for those who are producing good fruit?

Matt 7:21-23 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'L-rd, L-rd,' will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. "Many will say to Me on that day, 'L-rd, L-rd, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.'

Look, L-rd, I did this and this to enter the kingdom of heaven (other world). There are many false followers of Yeshua, including certain Protestants, which claim they know G-d. G-d does not really know them. He will accept their rejection of the Father’s plan and His grace and they will receive eternal separation from Him. Those who want to enter on their own works will be surprised to learn that they will be rejected on this account. To try to pay for something that is a free gift, which the Father provides through His Son, is an insult to His Son. What He did for us is sufficient. Nothing can separate us from the love of Yeshua. The “Will of the Father”, when it comes to entering the other world, is to trust in what Yeshua did for us on the execution stake. It is sufficient to take away our sins.

Once we have done this G-d gives us a “new covenant power” that helps us to overcome the world and it’s struggles, all it’s evils and desires. Does this mean we never fail? NO! We all still fail. It is a spiritual process involving spiritual growth. One day we will obtain perfection. We accomplish the commandments not to receive “eternal life”, but because we want to please the L-rd and want to show our appreciation. Our actions help illustrate our love for what He did for us. For now we know of this love for us, we do not have to fear losing this love ever…Nothing can separate us from this love. Yet there always seems to be those, even true believers, which want to worry about this. Let them. We are assured; nothing can separate us from His promise.

Rom 8:35-39 Who will separate us from the love of Messiah (Christ)? will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For your sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I AM PERSUATED, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, will be able to separate us from the love of G-d, which is in Yeshua HaMashiach. (Christ Jesus) our L-rd.

I am willing to let Yeshua deal with them. He will do a better job than I can.

Matt 7:24-27 "Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon the rock. "And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and burst against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded upon the rock. "And everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does not act upon them, will be like a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand. "And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and burst against that house; and it fell, and great was its fall."

My house, my life, is built on Yeshua. He is the solid rock and foundation in my life. Our blessed Messiah Yeshua.

Matt 7:28-29 The result was that when Yeshua (Jesus) had finished these words, the multitudes were amazed at His teaching; for He was teaching them as one having authority, and not as their scribes.

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with Me.

The scribes quoted others to establish the authority of their teachings. Yeshua spoke with authority. He did not follow any doctrine of men.
