Revelation 14:6-13 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear G-d, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of G-d, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of G-d, and the faith of Y'shua (Jesus). And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the L-rd from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. (KJV)
In this passage we have 3 angels.
The first angel flies through the air proclaiming the gospel. G-d in his infinite mercy always has a witness. At this point in time the 2 witnesses have been taken out of the picture as well as the 144,000. So G-d uses an angel to preach the gospel message. He proclaims the gospel message to the entire earth. He warns the earthlings of the impending judgment of Almighty G-d and calls on them to repent.
We are told the angel is flying in heaven. This is the earth's atmosphere. Also know as the first heaven. It is where the bird's fly. The second heaven is home to the sun, moon, and stars. The third heaven is where G-d lives.
The second angel flies through the air proclaiming that "Babylon has fallen". This is the first time in the book of Revelation that Babylon is mentioned. There are 2 Babylon's referred to in Revelation. The one is a political system and the other is the false religious system. We will be discussing them in greater detail in chapters 17 and 18. This angel is pronouncing judgment on each of them.
The third angel flies through the air proclaiming the fate of anyone who takes the "Mark of the Beast", and worships the Anti-Messiah and his idol will be damned to spend eternity in the "Lake of Fire".
This seems to imply if one takes the mark one is involved in a form of worship to the Anti-Messiah and his idol. It seems if one does one he is guilty of all three. (This mark is again Satan copying G-d. Here Satan copies the seal of the promise of salvation given to all believers by the Holy Spirit when one trusts that Y'shua paid for their redemption.)
The passage ends with a special blessing to those who die for their belief
in Y'shua. Remember in the last chapter Rev 13:15 anyone who does not take
the mark or worship the Anti-Messiah or his image will be put to death.
It would be far better to die for your faith refusing to take the "Mark
of the Beast" and go to heaven to be with G-d than to take the "Mark"
and spend eternity in the "Lake of Fire".
