Revelation Chapter 20 Continued

Revelation 20:7-10 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from G-d out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (KJV)

Satan is freed and he will go out to deceive the nations. This is because each of us must make a decision to accept Y'shua or reject him. During the Millennium there will be many people born. The world will be repopulated during this 1,000-year period. They will not have experienced sin and temptation, as we know it today. They will still have the ability to sin but the tempter will be out of the picture. Just as Adam and Eve lived in a perfect environment and still sinned so too there will be those individuals who will sin during the millennium and reject Y'shua.

Satan will gather the nations together to battle. Gog and Magog (Moscow) seem to lead the pack. Note: this is not just a few people; they're number is like the sand on the seashore. It is amazing to believe that people can still reject Y'shua when he is ruling and reigning over them.

They march on Jerusalem in an attempt to over throw Y'shua. How arrogant of them to think they can de-throne G-d!

Y'shua doesn't even work up a sweat. Fire comes down from heaven and consumes them all.

Satan is now thrown into the "Lake of Fire". During the entire 1,000-year reign of Y'shua there are only 2 occupants in the "Lake of Fire" the Anti-Messiah and the False Prophet. Satan is the 3rd occupant.

The Millennium

The Millennium will be a period of:

1) Peace There will be no war (Isa. 11:6-9; Isa. 2:4)

2) Happiness - (Isa. 11:6-9; 12:3)

3) Long Life and health Sickness will virtually be removed (Isa. 65:20; Isa. 33:24)

4) Prosperity (Isa. 35:1-2)

5) Joy in Labor (Isa. 65:21-22)

Revelation 20:11-15 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before G-d; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (KJV)

The "Great White Throne Judgment"

This is Y'shua at the White throne Judgment.

Rev.20:11 "And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

This description correlates to the description of Y'shua's judgment of the wicked in

Rev. 6:12-17 (Great Tribulation) "the kings of the earth, and the rulers, the generals, the rich and the mighty- indeed, everyone, slave and free- hid himself in caves and among the rocks in the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us, and hide us from the face of the One sitting on the throne and from the fury of the LAMB.

The Lamb describes Y'shua. The Lamb of G-d, who takes away the sin of the world. The phrase "whose face the earth and the heaven fled away" in Rev. 20:11 sounds like the lamb in Rev 6:17 "hide us from the face of the One sitting on the throne..."

This is the judgment of the lost. If you have not accepted Y'shua as your Messiah you will stand before him at this judgment. Those of us who have accepted him will be spectators. The books are opened. This is the record of all your deeds. The "Book of Life" is also opened. The dead are judged according to what they have done. There are untold millions of people are trying to work their way to heaven. They want to be judged on their works. And they will be. However the result they expected will not be theirs. For the Bible clearly tells us in

Isaiah 64:6 "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. (KJV)

All of your good works are not going to measure up to G-d's Holiness. It is believed that there are degrees of punishment in the "Lake of Fire" just as there are rewards for the believers in heaven.

The "Book of Life" is where the names of believers in Y'shua are written. If your name is not written in the "Book of Life" you WILL spend eternity in the "Lake of Fire"!

This is known as the second death.

Paul wrote that someday ALL will bow and confess that Y'shua is L-rd.

Phil 2:5-11 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Y'shua (Christ Jesus): Who, being in the form of G-d, thought it not robbery to be equal with G-d: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore G-d also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Y'shua (Jesus) every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Y'shua (Jesus Christ) is L-rd, to the glory of G-d the Father. (KJV)

The question is this: Will you bow your knees willingly now or before you are cast in to the "Lake of Fire"?

The 20th letter of the Hebrew Aleph-beit is the Resh it means wickedness; and the wicked. This letter goes perfectly with the 20th chapter of Revelation were we see the reward of the wicked.
