| Jesus wants to be your personal Savior. You can't save yourself or earn your way to Heaven by trying to be a "good person". God says there is only one way, and that is through His Son, Jesus. Jesus took the punishment for your sins for you when He shed His blood and died on the cross. Three days later, by His great power God raised Jesus from the dead. He appeared to over 500 people before He returned to Heaven where He is alive today. All you have to do is believe and accept His gift of salvation. |
| No matter who you are or what your life is like right now, Jesus knows all about you and He loves you just as much as He loves anyone!! That's right, He loves you, right now, "AS IS". Don't wait until you clean up your act. You can begin your own personal relationship with Jesus right now. You can know for sure that you are "saved" from Hell and eternal separation from God. You don't have to be inside a church building or on your knees. Just be sincere and pray something like this: |
| ""God, I know that I'm a sinner. I believe Your Son, Jesus died to take the punishment for my sins. I believe You raised Him from the dead. I want the Lord Jesus to be my personal Savior and forgive my sins. Thank You for loving me and saving me from the punishment I deserve. In Jesus' name. Amen." |

| If you really meant what you said in that prayer, then you are "saved". Your spirit has been "born again". Think of your new life as an exchange program. Jesus took your place on the cross, now you let Jesus take your place as Lord of your life. Up until now you've lived according to your own will. As a Christian we show we love Christ by trying to follow His will. We can know His will by reading the Bible. That's how your new spirit gets the "food" it needs. So chow down on that Bible! You'll also need support from other Christians, to teach you, pray for you, and help you to keep growing as a Christian.
