The Milwee Middle School 8th grade Exploring Technology class is a Synergistics Laboratory. Students are given general instruction in the Theater area of the classroom. However, most of the students time is spent at the Lab Modules. Students rotate through six to eight lab modules during the semester. They will 'explore', with their lab partner, many challenging topics, hands-on activities, career information, and questions which relate to the lab.

The labs presently in place at Milwee are: Electricity; Electronics; Applied Physics; Flight; Research & Design; Graphic Communications; Space Technology; Audio Broadcasting; Robotics; Energy, Power & Mechanics; Digital Design; LEGO's Problem Solving; Bridge Engineering; Desktop Computer Applications; Computer Graphics & Animation. Power Point Presentation, Bioengineering and Biotechnology modules will soon be available to students as well.
