- Detached from 442nd RCT on July, 1944 joined First Airborne Task Force to become "First Airborne Tank Company" for airborne invasion of Southern France. Rejoined 442nd RCT on Oct. 1944.
- 1st Bn was left back in Fort Shelby as a Training Bn. The 100th was incorperated as of June 17th, but was still officially a seperate. Bn. and under its older strength levels untill Aug.10th, 1944.
- Detached March, 1945 to 7th Army. Was one of several units that helped in the Liberation of Dachau and other subcamps.
Notes:
- Feb. 1943.-1945
- Orig. made up of all volinteers (untill April of 1944). Mostly of Hawaiian birth, but at least 1/3rd - 3/7th's from West Coast internment camps. After April of 1944 general conscription took place.
- Company strengths were the same as normal American Companies.
