Scotland
Scotland was England's traditional enemy, as you would expect with a shared border. Scotland's traditional ally against the English was France (this was called the Auld Alliance).
Scotland's kings were all called James. The ones you need to know about are
James III 1460-1488
James IV 1488-1513
In 1497, James IV came to an agreement with England, to give up Perkin Warbeck and make peace. This was the Truce of Ayton. The Truce (which is a temporary peace) was cemented in 1502 with the Perpetual Peace, the highlight of which was the marriage of Henry VII's daughter Margaret to James IV.
