Yoon Mi: Because you didn't help and kept yelling in my ear about the
dub!
Hitsuji: No, I didn't!
Yoon Mi: You did.. *sighs* Elios this, Helios that.. and the fact that the
last of the SuperS episode was not to your liking. I couldn't get you to
shut up! *tired and snappy from doing the episode alone*
Hitsuji: You are mean.
Yoon Mi: Can't you say anything new? I'm going to get a snack,

FADE IN:
(A young PRINCESS MERCURY is playing chess against a servant. She
check mates the king.)
SERVANT
You already beat me at swimming, now you beat me at chess. You are
amazing Mercury-sama.
FADE TO:
(An older PRINCESS MERCURY is walking through a courtyard.)
SERVANT
Do you want to play chess today Princess?
PRINCESS MERCURY
(BOWING): Sorry, I have to study and go to the moon.
(PRINCESS MERCURY fades into AMI)
USAGI
Your dream is to be a doctor, right? Don't forget that dream
Ami-chan! It's a beautiful dream!
(AMI turns to look at SAILOR MERCURY. AMI bends to whisper in SAILOR
MERCURY's ear.)
AMI
(WHISPERING): Have you forgotten your dream, Sailor Mercury?
(SAILOR MERCURY wakes up in the Crystal Palace Control Room.
SAILOR MERCURY looks down at a letter which is a scholarship.)
(FADE OUT)

SAILOR MERCURY
(VOICE ONLY): Long ago there was a musician of great talent named
Orpheus. He excelled at the lyre. He played as well as the gods and
charmed both mortals and immortals, as well as rocks, rivers, trees,
and beasts.
SMALL LADY
(VOICE ONLY): Many maidens followed Orpheus, but he fell in love with a
nymph named Eurydice. They married, but on their wedding day,
Eurydice was bitten by a snake and died.
SAILOR MERCURY
(VOICE ONLY): Orpheus was so distraught that he couldn't bring
himself to sing or play. When he could no longer stand the grief, he
decided to journey to the underworld and bring his beloved back.
SMALL LADY
(VOICE ONLY): Orpheus journeyed down the cave to the underworld. He
traveled past all the dangers by using his voice and his lyre.
SAILOR MERCURY
(VOICE ONLY): He played a heart-wrenching tune for the King and
Queen of the underworld begging for Eurydice's release.
SMALL LADY
(VOICE ONLY): The King and Queen agreed to release Eurydice, but only
on the condition that Orpheus would not look behind him until they
reached the light of day.
SMALL LADY
(VOICE ONLY): As they came closer to the light, Orpheus turned
around just a moment to make sure his wife was there and watched
his love descend back into the darkness.
SAILOR MERCURY
(VOICE ONLY): The gods wouldn't let him go to the land of the dead

(FADE OUT SLOWLY)

INT. CRYSTAL PALACE CONTROL ROOM 7:00
(SAILOR MERCURY wakes up.)
(SAILOR MERCURY looks down at her hands which contain a letter.)
SAILOR MERCURY
The configurations to the shields are almost done.
SAILOR MERCURY
Should I go to Medical school?
(The letter reads: "Dear Miss Mercury, We have accepted your
application and give you a full scholarship to Kyoritsu Yakka
University. We would like a reply soon. Thank you and
congratulations.")
(SAILOR MERCURY stares at the letter. She puts it aside and starts
typing into the keyboard.)
FADE TO:
INT. CRYSTAL PALACE CONTROL ROOM 9:00
(SMALL LADY is passing the room and looks in to see SAILOR MERCURY
typing away. SMALL LADY enters.)
SMALL LADY
You haven't gotten any sleep Mercury! You should go to bed and get
some sleep before my parents arrive!
SAILOR MERCURY
I can't. I have to finish fixing these shields. I can't have the King and
Queen in any kind of danger. They will return home today.
SMALL LADY
That's right, but don't worry! I am a sailor soldier too! I'll protect
mama and papa!
(SAILOR MERCURY gives a faint smile knocking over her letter from
Kyoritsu Yakka University)
(SMALL LADY picks up the letter and reads it.)
SMALL LADY
Congratulations! It's your dream, right?
SAILOR MERCURY
But my duty as a Sailor soldier..
SMALL LADY
Don't worry, if you need to go I can protect Mama and papa! But first
you need some sleep! I can't think without sleep.
(SAILOR MERCURY nods, and gets up. SAILOR MERCURY slowly walks
out the door.)
(SMALL LADY smiles holding the letter in her hand.)
(FADE OUT)
FADE IN:
EXT. OUTSIDE CRYSTAL PALACE 12:00
ONYX
We have to attack them again?
IOLITE
Coral-sama ordered it. I've raised a better Gall for this attack than
the last one.
ONYX
How is it different from your other gall? I think I could to better.
IOLITE
Watch and see what I do.
(IOLITE raises his hands up into the air. A black mass of energy
forms.)
IOLITE
I call from the darkness and depths of mythology... Orpheus, the
master musician. Gall Orpheus come out!
(FADE OUT)
(Commercial Break)
FADE IN:
EXT. OUTSIDE CRYSTAL PALACE 12:01
(FADE OUT)
ONYX
(YAWNING): Great show, but will it do anything?
IOLITE
I studied the other attacks by previous enemies on the Sailor soldiers
to create this masterpiece.
(IOLITE and ONYX disappear)
(GALL ORPHEUS appears)
(GALL ORPHEUS takes out his lyre and plays)
(The shield vibrates and starts to shake the palace)
FADE TO:
INT. SAILOR MERCURY'S BEDROOM 12:05
(SAILOR MERCURY wakes up)
(The Palace shakes again)
(SAILOR MERCURY looks at her watch. She jumps out of bed and runs
to the control room.)
FADE TO:
EXT. CRYSTAL PALACE CONTROL ROOM 12:15
(SMALL LADY runs out of the room eating a sandwich. She gulps her
food)
SMALL LADY
Pink Moon Crystal Power! Make up!
(SAILOR MERCURY runs into the control room o see that her shields
are failing. SAILOR MERCURY is angry.)
(SAILOR MERCURY runs after SMALL LADY.)
FADE TO:
INT. OUTSIDE CRYSTAL PALACE 12:30
[Hitsuji: *points to time* See.. it is a big palace, so it would take a long
time to get around the thing. It's the size of a district!]
SAILOR MERCURY
What is the disturbance that is disrupting my shields that I have
worked hard on!?
GALL ORPHEUS
(LOOKING AT SAILOR MERCURY): Eurydice?
(GALL ORPHEUS sees Mercury with longer hair and looking like
EURYDICE.)
ETERNAL SAILOR CHIBIMOON
Stop right there! You disturbed Mercury-sama's well deserved nap and
shook up my home! I cannot forgive you! I am the Pretty Sailor-Suited
Soldier for Love and Justice Sailor Chibimoon! In the name of the moon
I will punish you!
(GALL ORPHEUS ignores ETERNAL SAILOR CHIBIMOON and dives for
SAILOR MERCURY.)
(ETERNAL SAILOR CHIBIMOON is not pleased and immediately pulls out
her tier to attack.)
SAILOR MERCURY
Aqua Rhapsody!
GALL ORPHEUS
When did you learn how to play Eurydice?
(GALL ORPHEUS continues towards SAILOR MERCURY.)
(Time slows and then stops.)
(A miniature version of SAILOR MERCURY appears.)
GUARDIAN MERCURY
Welcome back Princess Mercury. I am the guardian of your Sailor
crystal.
(SAILOR MERCURY's starseed appears in the air and lands in GUARDIAN
MERCURY's hands. The starseed blossoms and transforms. She
presents it to SAILOR MERCURY.)
(SAILOR MERCURY holds out her hands. GUARDIAN MERCURY lands into
SAILOR MERCURY's hands.)
(SAILOR MERCURY sparkles with energy. A blue dress floats about her
and the sign of Mercury appears on her forehead.)
(The planet of Mercury floats behind her. Around Mercury floats a
castle.)
GUARDIAN MERCURY
I have failed you Princess, but now you can come home! You can study
unbothered, play chess, and become a doctor as you wish. Your duty
as a Sailor soldier is over. A new wave of Sailor soldiers will protect
this system.
PRINCESS MERCURY
My dreams.. and my duty?
(PRINCESS MERCURY looks away.)
PRINCESS MERCURY
I was thinking of going to college, to get my degree. I must sacrifice
that for the good of the team again.
GUARDIAN MERCURY
No one gives up their dreams, Princess.
PRINCESS MERCURY
I sound so selfish. My true dream is to stay here and Protect the King
and Queen. I've known it for a long time. I was hoping I could fulfill
some of my other dreams too.
GUARDIAN MERCURY
Perhaps you can do both.
(PRINCESS MERCURY looks at GUARDIAN MERCURY.)
PRINCESS MERCURY
I heard the others also gave up their other dreams for their true
ones. I must do the same.
(GUARDIAN MERCURY gives an understanding look.)
PRINCESS MERCURY
I can always become a doctor later.
(Tears run down SAILOR MERCURY'S face.)
GUARDIAN MERCURY
If you ever need your true power just remember me, call out the name
of your castle and use your crystal.
(GUARDIAN MERCURY disappears in a sparkle of light.)
(Time starts up again.)
(SAILOR MERCURY appears in a new Sailor soldier uniform.)
ETERNAL SAILOR CHIBIMOON
Nooooo! I'm going to be useless as a Sailor soldier again.
(ETERNAL SAILOR CHIBIMOON puts away the tier.)
(ETERNAL SAILOR MERCURY smiles)
ETERNAL SAILOR MERCURY
(RAISING HANDS INTO AIR): Castle Mariner, give me the power to
vanquish this evil!
(A blue crystal materializes into ETERNAL SAILOR MERCURY's hands.
The crystal blooms. ETERNAL SAILOR MERCURY grows bright with a
blue aura.)
ETERNAL SAILOR MERCURY
(THINKING): But let Eternal Chibimoon finish him off, so she can
become a strong Sailor Soldier too.
GALL ORPHEUS
Eurydice! Please don't.. I love you!
(The energy from the crystal attacks GALL ORPHEUS.)
(ETERNAL SAILOR MERCURY pretends to be surprised when the attack
doesn't eliminate the gall.)
ETERNAL SAILOR CHIBIMOON
Yay! It's finally my turn!
(ETERNAL SAILOR CHIBIMOON pulls out the tier again.)
ETERNAL SAILOR CHIBIMOON
Pink Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss!
GALL ORPHEUS
Justice!
(GALL ORPHEUS disappears, his spirit floats up to the sky.)
SPIRIT ORPHEUS
Eurydice.. I will join you again shortly.
FADE IN:
EXT OUTSIDE CRYSTAL PALACE FRONT GATE 19:00
SMALL LADY
Mercury-sama, you finished the shields?
SAILOR MERCURY
(TIRED, BUT CHEERFUL): It took a while but I found a configuration that
will keep the enemies out.
SAILOR MARS
They should be here soon.
(DIANA enters)
(A limo pulls up. The window opens. LUNA jumps out of the open
window. LUNA runs to ARTEMIS and licks his face.)
(ARTEMIS blushes.)
(SMALL LADY bows as KING ENDYMION and NEO-QUEEN SELENITY get out
of the car.)
(DIANA looks up at KING ENDYMION and NEO-QUEEN SELENITY.)
(SAILOR MARS and SAILOR VENUS also bow left to SMALL LADY.
SAILOR JUPITER and SAILOR MERCURY bow right to SMALL LADY.)
SAILOR MARS
(WHISPERING TENSELY): You promise not to tell I helped you to fight,
right? I won't tell that you went sneaking out after me.
SAILOR VENUS
(WHISPERING): Hey, you won't tell that I helped defeat that gall. I'll
take you shopping.
(SMALL LADY nods.)
SAILOR JUPITER
(WHISPERING IN SMALL LADY'S EAR): Remember we had a deal! Your
mouth stays silent in exchange for some pudding.
SAILOR MERCURY
(WHISPERING SHYLY): I'll help you with your homework if you don't tell
about today..
(SMALL LADY, SAILOR MARS, SAILOR JUPITER, AND SAILOR VENUS all
glance at SAILOR MERCURY in shock.)
(SAILOR MERCURY blushes.)
NEO-QUEEN SELENITY
Was everything alright while we were gone?
SMALL LADY
Yes, mama.
(SAILOR MARS, SAILOR JUPITER, SAILOR VENUS, and SAILOR MERCURY
all smile in relief. They straighten from their bows.)
DIANA
(TILTING HEAD): But Small Lady, there were those gall that Sailor
Jupiter, Sailor Mars, Sailor Venus and Sailor Mercury helped you with.
(SAILOR MARS, SAILOR JUPITER, SAILOR VENUS, and SAILOR MERCURY
all looked shocked.)
SAILOR JUPITER
(WHISPERING OUT OF THE SIDE OF HER MOUTH): Who forgot to bribe
Diana?
(DIANA pauses)
DIANA
And Small Lady snuck out of the palace and followed Sailor Venus
once, but then Sailor Venus- no Princess Venus defeated the gall. I
think they all did.. except for Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Mercury.
(NEO-QUEEN SELENITY gets mad while DIANA continues innocently. KING
ENDYMION sweatdrops as he tries to calm NEO-QUEEN SELENITY down.)
(SAILOR MARS, SAILOR JUPITER, SAILOR VENUS, and SAILOR MERCURY
all try to tip toe away.)
NEO-QUEEN SELENITY
(YELLING): Sailor Senshi! Small Lady! Clean the entire palace now! I will
not have insubordination!
DIANA
(SMILING BRIGHTLY): But Sailor Mercury did get the shields fixed while
you were gone.
(SAILOR MARS, SAILOR JUPITER, SAILOR VENUS, SAILOR MERCURY, and
SMALL LADY all dash off. NEO-QUEEN SELENITY dragging KING
ENDYMION dash off after them.)
DIANA
Did I say something wrong?
(LUNA and ARTEMIS sigh.)
(FADE OUT)

SMALL LADY
Mama has decided to start a new school! Moon Crystal Academy is
open!
DIANA
I get to join you too!
SMALL LADY
You aren't supposed to tell me that, it's supposed to be a surprise! I
wonder who else will attend.
DIANA
Now that you mention it I thought I saw a strange girl. I wonder if she
could be the New Sailor Soldier or an enemy!
SMALL LADY
No time to find out they are attacking the new school!
(Title screen)
SMALL LADY
Sailor Chibimoon Filler: Episode 8- The Soldier of Fire appears! Sailor
Chibimoon not alone anymore?
SMALL LADY
Tsuki wa Ai no message. (The moonlight carries the message of love.)
(Ending screen with manga-ka and the companies involved)
(FADE OUT)

Hitsuji: I think Yoon Mi doesn't like me anymore. She hasn't shown up
for a while! *sniffles*
Yoon Mi: I never liked you. I just went to the kitchen to get something
to eat.
Hitsuji: But five minutes is a long time!
Yoon Mi: This episode could have be done speedier. That's it now, let's
get to the notes.
Hitsuji: I want to talk about it!
Yoon Mi: *threatens with duct tape* Just read the Author's notes.
Author's notes for this particular episode:
- The last scene is out of character for Neo-Queen Selenity.. but I
think it's funny! Besides, this is the Toei version of the anime where
they do anything they please because the manga-ka is busy feverishly
trying to create more manga. Also the characters tend to be more
flat in this kind of environment. OK, there is no real reason.. but I
thought it suited the scene, if not the character.
