This is Your Life

Every thing happens to every body, given enough time

Enjoy your life, health, friends and family, it is not a crime

Life can be a bowl of cherries or a bunch of lemon & lime

Enjoy the cherries, or make a lemonade to sip in free sunshine

If there is coffee to enjoy with assortment of cups fancy to simple

In a group of people, most will compete for a fancy cup most of the time

But the coffee tastes the same, whether the cup is crystal or Styrofoam

What difference the cup makes, if enjoying the coffee is your prime

Coffee here is your life, and cups are the showy stuff in life

Enjoy your life to the fullest and not run after the cups of sublime

Baking a cake needs flour, eggs and baking powder

Individually they don’t taste good, but baked cake is fine

Your life with hardwork when fully achieved is a baked cake

Its ingredients are troubles, setbacks, hard work and grime

Don’t get depressed looking at the ingredients, we all have the same

Keep them all in proportion, if you want your life to come out fine

Allah has not left us blind in this world to grope in the dark

He has given us a cookbook, the life histories of aoliyahs that shine

In our lifetime Maola Burhanuddin is our guiding light

May he live healthy and happy till the end of time.
